"I suppose we can just cut it into pieces and then we can dispose of it."
Duke Gaston said, however, before Lady Melissa could say her own opinion of the entire thing, she heard a noise from where the werewolf's body was supposed to be, as she turned her head around, her heart beating out of her chest.
As her mind raced- wondering just what this was, since, well, she was admittedly a little afraid of the werewolf, and what it could do to her- considering the things hell it had put her through earlier when she was alone with it.
However, there was no werewolf behind her, as she noticed red butterflies fluttering all over the place- her eyes widening as she came to the realization of what was happening.
"Don't breathe in the oxygen! It's poisonous!"
Lady Melissa said, shouting out to the two men in the room with her, as they nodded, thankful at the warning from Lady Melissa.
Lady Melissa was just focusing on getting outside with Jeremy as well as Duke Gaston, she didn't want to faint- or worse, die because of the toxins that she would exhale, which was why she was currently holding her breath.
Eventually, though, the three of them had safely and successfully made their way outside of Lady Camilia's room.
Lady Melissa quickly and immediately shut the door, as Duke Gaston led them to where their carriage was, deciding that it was late enough and it was time for them to go home.
Lady Melissa then remembered something she had forgotten- her hairpin, which she had accidentally dropped when walking, as she ordered Justin to find it for her since it was a family heirloom, and a priceless one at that (at least that was what her mother would claim).
Justin quickly nodded his head as he went back the path that Lady Melissa, him and Duke Gaston had taken, finding the hairpin for his master.
Lady Melissa turned her head back to Duke Gaston, and the next thing she knew, he used a cloth to cover her nose- as she fainted.
"Wakey-wakey."
A voice said, as Lady Melissa's eyes blinked multiple times, wondering whatever that was, as her eyes adjusted to the poor lighting wherever she was.
After a few seconds of more blinking, Lady Melissa's eyes had adjusted to the poor lighting, as she could now see a clearer figure in front of her.
"About time you wake up."
The voice said as Lady Melissa's eyes widened in realization- the one who had kidnapped her was Lady Camilia, or at least was one of the kidnappers, as she scanned the room, looking for Duke Gaston as she assumed that he might've been one of the kidnappers as well.
"I was getting bored waiting for you to wake up."
Lady Camilia said as she played with the knife in her hands, using a cloth to clean the knife.
"Why did you bring me here?"
Lady Melissa said, as she finally spoke up, an annoyed expression on her face as the corner of Lady Camilia's lips went up, an amused smile on her face.
"I decided that it was time for us to settle some things between each other, you know, have a little heart-to-heart."
Lady Camilia said as Lady Melissa stayed silent, making her own observations regarding the room that she was currently trapped in.
"Look familiar?"
Lady Camilia said, as suddenly, Victoria came in Lady Melissa's eyes widening in the process- she was dead after all, Lady Melissa had made sure of it with her own two eyes- blood being splattered all over her, and yet she was....somehow alive?
"It was a little hassle to bring her back from the dead, but it's all worth it, or at least it'll be worth it in time."
Lady Camilia said, as Victoria approached Lady Camilia closer, the woman handed over the knife to Victoria.
"Now, you two, have fun, and I'll see you later, or at least one of you."
Lady Camilia said as she exited the room, locking it with a smile on her face.
"You're...alive?"
Lady Melissa said or asked in disbelief, she had never heard of a magic spell that could bring back someone from the dead- so it was likely that Lady Camilia had used dark magic, meaning that she must've signed a contract to some sort of evil entity.
"I can prove it to you if I want to."
Victoria said, using a condescending tone whilst talking to Lady Melissa as the other woman stayed silent.
"This is revenge for killing me, did you know how hurt and betrayed I felt after that? I thought we were friends, I thought you cared about me, but friends don't kill each other do they?"
Victoria said, a sadistic smile on her face as she slowly and slowly kept approaching Lady Melissa.
Lady Melissa simply stayed in silence, not uttering a single word yet she still managed to maintain eye contact with Victoria the entire time.
"This is for killing me."
Victoria said, using the knife as she stabbed Lady Melissa's wrist, a pool of blood soon coming out of it within a few minutes.
Lady Melissa had already tried to get out of these ropes numerous times- she had lost count after 10, but it was to no avail, no matter what she would use; be it physical strength or her own magic, the rope wouldn't budge a single bit, as she assumed that it had been laced with some sort of magic-deflector since no regular rope wouldn't break when a magic spell was used on it.
Lady Melissa had come to the conclusion that this wasn't a normal rope, meaning that there was some sort of spell that wouldn't allow her to use her magic when the rope was bound with her hands behind the chair that she was sitting on.
Lady Melissa had decided to give up with the approach of using her physical strength, or magic (at least for the time being) to get out of the ropes that were binding her.
