Chapter 138 - Mementos

Everyone gasped on hearing Sara, Reyna was utterly shocked. She never someone who is nothing comes up to the stage and says that to her. 

Sara with a mock smile looked towards Lina who was trying to get close to Michael but he was trying to ignore her but she was stubborn enough to not understand that he was ignoring her. 

Sara can't control herself," You, can't you understand my hubby doesn't want you to get close to him. Why do you want to be so shameless?" Hearing her comment, everyone started looking at Lina. She felt ashamed on hearing Sara. 

"Who the hell are you?" Reyna was reddened because of anger, and went to slap her but Sara grabbed her hand before she could do something to Sara.

"Don't you understand when I said I am your daughter-in-law and if you are asking my identity then don't worry, I am a gold mine with enough gold." She said snapping her hands away. Reyna was hissed feeling a little pain on her wrist by Sara's grip. 

"Why don't you say who the hell are you?" Reyna became more pissed than before, she didn't care about her reputation in front of others, she just wanted to take care of Sara. 

Sara saw her coming, she dodged before Reyna could touch her, because of it she felt on the floor hard. 

Many giggled on seeing her on the floor, it was utter embarrassment for Reyna. Even Sara and Michael can't stop chuckling on seeing her on the floor like that. 

It was just Lina who came to the stage to help Reyna. Michael just watched the drama, he was in no mood to stop it. It's rare for his little kitty to say in front of everyone that he was hers. Why will not enjoy this rare encounter, it was fun and also interesting. 

And most of all Sara was not someone who needed protection from others; others needed protection from her. They themselves mess with Medusa, they should know the consequences. 

Michael didn't mean he will not help, he will for the right moment, if they try to hard Sara and their baby, he will not step back from making them regret. 

Before he may never think of standing in front of her mother but now it's her, for her he was ready to give up his mother's love who he never got. But not going to leave Sara again.

"Auntie are you okay?" Lina asked her in a sweet voice. Seeing her so sweet and caring many started to feel why Reyna wanted her son to marry Lina. 

"Woah, so much drama. Honestly I think Lina is better looking at her protecting Reyna and looking at her, laughing at her mother in law." One in the crowd said. 

"Yes, I know. I am not an ideal daughter in law because I don't know how to act like a white lotus." Sara replied mockingly as soon as she heard the comment. 

Everyone became silent hearing her. "Shut up, how ungrateful you are, you can never be my daughter in law. I will never accept you." Reyna said getting up with the help of Lina.

"Who asked your permission?" Sara questioned. Hearing Sara's comment, Reyna's mouth was shut. When it comes to being sarcastic, Sara was top. It was never easy to win from her. 

"Did I ask your permission? I just informed don't too high of yourself. I don't care if you give me permission or not." Sara mocked her. 

"You shameless b*tch" Reyna was more pissed than ever, her anger was no control. She took the champagne glasses from Lina's hand and threw the champagne towards Sara. 

Michael saw what his mother was about to do, he tried to go up to the stage as soon as possible but Sara was already dripped in champagne until he reached. 

It was so unexpected of Sara that she didn't even got chance to dodge from it, until she realized she was already dripped in champagne. She can't believe how she was treated. 

Was she trash? She wanted to kill these two but she didn't want rumours.

"Enough!" Michael exclaimed, he can't control it anymore or watch what was happening. It was all fine till his mother throwed champagne on Sara. 

He never expected this from his mother, his mother was overreacting. He had enough, he took out his blazer and put over Sara.

"It's enough for today, let me take care of it from here." Michael said in a caring tone patting her head. 

He turned around and his caring tone vanished, the aura of him was scary. Darkness surrounded him, his Amber eyes became cold and dark. The glittering golden eyes were gone. 

He went close to them, even his mother trembled in fear seeing him being so scary. 

Both Lina and Reyna took a few steps back.

"What are you doing?" Reyna asked him in a nervous tone. She has never seen him like that, he was always like a lamb in front of her but today he was unexpectedly scary. She unwillingly remembered about his father. 

That same aura and eyes that look through her soul, when her lover was dying in front of her and she can't do anything. Her lover was burning together with their mementos and she can only stand there and look at it unable to do anything because of his father. 

How can she forget those eyes? Same scariness and aura like a king who wants to destroy everything that tries to come between his love. 

Cold beads of sweat started to form on her forehead remembering the past memories. Her heart started to beat rapidly. Her feets became weak thinking of how his father killed everyone close to her. She felt dizziness surrounding her and at last she felt on the floor unconscious.
