Chapter 139 - Seduce

"Mom" Michael exclaimed and ran towards her. He holds her in his arms. Sara followed her and tried to wake up her.

"It's all because of you, you b*tch" Lina dumped all the blame on Sara. She rubbed her tears and was about to slap Sara. 

"Enough" Michael stopped her. He still can't believe Lina will blame others instead of helping his mom. 

"Let's focus on your mom for now. Let's take a room, I will call the doctor." Sara suggested Michael ignoring Lina's words. 

She was not that important for Sara or for Michael that Sara should waste her time on her. She can take care of her later also. The most important for now is his mom. Saving someone's life was more important than taking care of her. 

Michael nodded and carried his mom on his arm and took her to the room. Sara stayed behind and called the doctor for Reyna. Lina felt useless in front of them, she tried to make Sara hated by others but her plan backfired on her. Lina gritted her teeth and curled her fingers into a fist in anger and hatred. 

Sara didn't even notice her hatred and anger towards her. She just called the doctor and went away. Lina followed her to have a talk with Sara; or in other words teach her a lesson.Everyone started to gossip about what happened mostly about Sara and Lina fighting over a man. 

Sara went towards the toilet when Lina stopped her. 

"What do you want?" Sara asked, folding her arms around her c.h.e.s.t and giving her an unamused look. 

Sara knew she would try to mess with her again after that faceslapping; she was not at all surprised that Lina would follow her and would try to get revenge for the faceslapping she got from her. 

"Why are you getting between Michael and me? Can't you see he doesn't like you?" Lina blurted out without thinking about what trouble she was going to get in the next moment. 

"Oh, he doesn't like me? Who do you think he will like if he doesn't like me? You? Look at yourself, you can't even compare yourself with me not in figure, talent or beauty then how can you say he will not like me." Sara said scornfully.

"And most importantly, I can seduce him but you; with that figure of yours, you can only seduce an old man." Sara went close to her and whispered in her ears. 

Michael was hers, she will get him even that means killing someone. 

Sara started to leave after seeing how shocked she was after what Sara said. Sara started to go towards the washroom unknown of what Lina was thinking. Lina's hatred for Sara was no longer control, she pushed Sara hard, hoping she felt on the floor hard enough. 

Sara was not at all aware of that attack, she was wearing heels which made her lose balance faster, she was about to fall just then a hand grabbed her from behind saving her from falling. 

Both Lina and Sara looked towards the person as they both didn't expect someone to come and save Sara. It was Michael. 

After putting Reyna on her bed, Michael came out of her room to look for Sara. He was worried about her so came out to look for her, and saw Lina pushing her. 

For a moment, his heart stopped beating seeing Sara falling but he was fast enough to react and catch her. 

Lina was surprised seeing Michael, she never thought he would come and protect her.  She acted on impulse after hearing Sara's comment on her. She accepts that Sara was better than her in everything but doesn't mean she can have Michael and she will just give up on him like a loser. 

Seeing Michael cool glare towards her, Lina took a few steps back and ran away before Michael could do anything to her. 

Sara chuckled on seeing Lina run away as if she had seen a ghost. Seeing her chuckle, Michael squint her eyes towards her. 

She stopped laughing seeing his glances towards him. She tried to get up but because she was wearing heels, she twisted her ankle when she was falling. On trying to get up she lost her balance and was about fall if not for Michael's support. 

"Why are you so careless?" Michael shook his head seeing her being stupid. She was wearing heels even knowing she may get hurt but still care about her look more than being comfortable. 

"Sorry" she said thinking he was angry at her because she was still in his arms. 

Seeing her trying to get up again, he sighed softly before carrying her in his arms. Sara was utterly shocked from his actions. 

"Hey, I can walk myself." She tried to argue with him but he didn't listen and went towards his room. 

He put her on the bed and took out her heels, touched her ankle. Sara hissed feeling a sharp pain when Michael touched her ankle. 

"Can't you take care of yourself a bit?" Michael said getting up and going towards the drawer to get a first-aid box for her. 

She remained silent, it was her mistake this time, it  was totally not aware of Lina's trap, she thought she must stay low after what she said but she just counter attacked her. 

"I am sorry" Sara felt guilt suppressing her. It was true she should be careful, after knowing she is pregnant she should be but today she was about to hurt herself and her baby because of her being careless. 

Streams of tears flowed down from her eyes; after pregnancy she was getting more emotional. She can't hold her tears like before. Maybe she was being too emotional but she can't hold it back.
