Chapter 140 - Fortune

Michael turned around and saw Sara crying, he was startled a bit. He went towards her and sat down below on the floor. He felt guilty for saying that to her, he didn't even thought that he was being harsh on her. He felt guilt suppressing him, he lifted up her face and looked at her eyes.

"I am sorry." Michael kissed her on her forehead before rubbing away her tears. 

"You look ugly when you cry." Michael joked around. 

"So, you don't love me." Sara started crying again. She looked at him angrily, hearing his comment. 

"No, I love this ugly little kitty." He said, pinching the tip of her nose lightly. She laughed hearing him; seeing her laugh he started to laugh too. Both of them started to laugh out. Sara stopped crying and rubbed her tears before wrapping her arms around his neck. 

"I love you." She placed a kiss on his forehead. For her the most happy thing was to fall for him and start their family. Her happiest moment and saddest moment with him all are memorable for her. His love was enough to heal her  past pain that she tried to hide from others but he healed her slowly, patiently and the most loving way one can think of. 

She got a precious gift one could ever think of  from God in the guise of him. She can never stop being thankful to God for him. 

"I love you too." Michael replied back with a smile. "Now let me just take care of your ankle." Michael tried to change conversation after seeing how gorgeous Sara was looking with a tint of blush on her face. And with shoulders revealing, she was alluring him more. 

Sara saw him, getting distracted by her. She always teased him but this time she finally got the chance to tease him. 

"Honey, are you okay." Sara asked in her sweetest voice. She knows this will make it harder for him to control himself and she wanted to see him being like that. She wanted to see his self control over him.

Michael's control was getting lower after hearing Sara's sweet voice. He know she was doing that to torture him and yes, it was a torturing him. 

"I am fine." Michael tried to look fine even though he was burning inside, he was trying to calm himself from outside. He even ignored eye contact with her.

Sara knew what was going inside him even though he was not showing it. She can read him like an open book and seeing him controlling, she was having fun. She knows he will not touch her, so she had nothing to worry, he will do anything to her until she is pregnant. 

She knows that best way to torture a guy is to seduce a guy and not what give him what he wants and she was exactly doing the same to Michael. She wanted to have more fun now. 

"Take a bit of rest here. I will check on Mom before we go home." Michael ran away after saying that. If he stays there a bit longer, he will get seduced by her for sure. 

It was better to leave if he does something that he will regret later. Sara chuckled seeing him running away like that. It was amusing for her. She was not at all worry, she can torture him later again and next time she will not let him go. 

She rested on the bed checking her phone; waiting for Michael to come soon. 

Michael reached his mother's room, he knocked the door before going in. He went inside and saw Lina sitting beside his mother who was awake.

He didn't know what they were talking about but seeing Lina sobbing as if someone bullied and his mother trying to console, making him understand that they were bad-mouthing Sara. 

He felt his blood boiling seeing the white lotus look of Lina but he didn't say anything to her, he ignored her and went to his mother.

"Mom, are you okay now?" Michael asked her with genuine care. He actually freaked out seeing his mom passed out suddenly earlier. 

"Mm" she didn't say anything, she neglected him and talked with Lina instead of him. He knew his mother was noring

"Since you are fine, Sara and I will leave now." Michael didn't want to talk with them and get hurt more, he just wanted to leave sooner. 

Hearing his words, Reyna gasped in anger. She never thought he would be that coldly like that to her. It was the first time she was being treated like that. She became red in anger.

"Stay there, how can you behave like that to your mother. Why do you care about that vicious snake more than Lina who is better than that snake." Her mother shouted at him. His mother was more angry that he cared about Sara. After what happened earlier she will never like Sara. She embarrassed her in front of her guest. 

For Reyna, Lina was far better than Sara, Lina was not someone who talks back to her but Sara will say anything on her face without getting scared and her mother know that if she was behaving so high, she must be someone who was high of everyone but for Reyna, she needs someone innocent and narrow minded like Lina, to have control over her. 

She wanted to use Lina as a weapon to control Michael, if he falls for Lina, she will get control over his business which was the hidden reason why she was so desperate to get them. 

If Michael falls for Sara, it will be hard for her to get control over his business and him. She will never get the chance to live in richness. Michael was making a fortune even though he donates most of his income, if she gets control over her, she will get those money instead of it going to donation.
