Chapter 179 - Pain

Rayn stayed there silent, he didn't bounce her hitting. He knew it was his fault, he was fine with her hitting him. 

But he was astonished at her breaking down suddenly, does she still care about him? He could finally see hope, that somewhere she still cares about him, otherwise why will she care. 

He got up and went close to her, and carried her in princess style. Quin was astonished by what he was doing. She wiggled to make him let her go,"Let go!" She yelled trying to push him away but her struggle and yelling went to waste, he held her more firmly. 

"Hold tighter, don't hurt yourself and our baby." Rayn said, taking her to their bedroom. He carefully lay her on the bed. 

He was about to put the blanket over her but snap his hands away. 

"I can do it myself." She lay down, facing his back towards him. 

"If you have nothing else, you can just close the door and switch off the light." She told him ignoring him. She didn't want to see him. She didn't want to be weak, not in front of him.

Rayn clenched his fingers, he nodded to her not telling anything else. No matter how much he hurts, it's not even close to the pain he gave to her. He now understands how it feels to be hated by the one you love.

How much she had gone through all those years, and it's just a few weeks for him. How can he get tired so fast? Since he decided to get her, he will be patient no matter how hard and painful it is.

He took a deep breath and went close to her, placing a kiss on her on the temple,"Good night." He remarked before leaving the room silently.

Quin didn't say or moved until she heard the door closed, she got up and sat straight. 

"Why? Why!" She yelled, throwing the pillow towards the door. She got up from the bed and started throwing and breaking all the things. 

Why? She asked herself why? She decided to hate him, she didn't kill her feelings, she decided to never fall apart in front of him but what happened when she was hitting her. She fell apart, she weeped again, she became weak. 

He was about to walk towards him, when she threw a vase towards him, he was lucky enough that he bent down when the vase was about to hit him. 

"Don't come closer. It's all your fault." She shrieked at him, as tears flowed down her eyes. It was tears of sadness, tears of hate, anger and vengeance.

"Quin.." he frowned because of her sudden uproar. How much hate and anger she had for him. It was all his fault for making her like that.

She rubbed off her tears,"Why?" She asked more coldly from before. 

"Huh?" He was baffled by her sudden question. 

"Why are you doing this to me!" She shouted, throwing away the glass jar of water. "Why...why?" She broke down on the tears, plopping down on the bed. 

She suddenly burst into tears, hiding her face with her palms. 

Rayn got weird by her sudden mood swings, he went closer to her, stroking her head to calm her down.

Quin wrapped her arms around his waist, crying. She hated it but she couldn't stop her weeping. 

She thought after all what he had done to her, she would hate him, but her heart broke down only getting some warmth from her. But she didn't want to listen to her heart, she listened to one but it gave her pain. No she doesn't want pain more, she wants to be free and at peace. 

And he can't let her have it, the only way to get what she yearns for is by going far away from him. 

She let go of him, and rubbed her tears,"I want to go." She said with a stone face.

"What do you mean?" Rayn looked at her unable to gulp the words she said.

"I want to go away. Go away from you, everytime I see I hate myself, I hate remembering the past me who loved you, I feel like I am strangled to death, I can't breathe." Quin said out her thoughts, she hated herself more than him. The past was foolish to think love can be everything. 

Love can give you the world's best p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e but if you fall for the wrong person, you will just get pain, pain which is worse than death. 

And for Quin it was pain, a pain she wants to get rid of and the only way she can was going away from him but why destiny plays with her, she started hating but he started falling for him. She can't trust a person like him. A demon can never change to an angel, they can only put a cover of an angel to hide their demon self. 

Rayn stood in silence after hearing her, all this time he was dreaming, he suddenly started to laugh, laugh aloud to hide the misery and pain of him.

Quin was surprised by his sudden laughter, why was he laughing? She told a joke, she said her thoughts but he was laughing. She was scared that he would go crazy again. 

And everytime he goes crazy, she starts to get scared, he can do anything from hitting her to forcing her to sleep.
