Being caught in the act was not professional. I was one thing for Diana to be open about her ability. The whole world knows she is a seer but can't do any deviation. But for everyday life, she had the edge of know your future. It was fine until she messes it up and GIA get's involved.
I prefer to stay out of that if I could but being related to Diana I was never given the choice. The other problem is being a contractor. It meant that I need to keep running errands on down low or everyone would be running to me for help and ordering me around. I hated that because the higher-ups were demanding and they were never satisfied.
"Let me drive you home," I said more relieved, seeing that he was drunk.
The man opens his car's door, and couldn't get in. He slumped down to the floor. Looking at him I knew he was so drunk that he wouldn't remember a thing. It was my interest to take him home. So I got into his car and drove off. I didn't wait as I felt Diana moving out. I don't him to see her.
He pulled open the front compartment and opens a bottle of vodka. I glanced to my right and met his eyes. They were so dark brown they could have been black. To love and to lost.
"Where do you live?" I asked trying to find a way to get him to stop drinking.
"Warne Street," he said slurring a little.
The fancy part of town, I really should have known. Anyone who knew Diana had money, except maybe me. Then again if I still lived at home, I'd be rich too.
At that moment a memory came to me of us playing. It was a long time ago. Then again, I didn't really play all that much.
"House number 4?" I said as I exited the freeway and turned onto a nearby gravel road leading to the lake where I knew Diana use to live.
This is where my grandmother lived not me. I had stayed here shortly, hating every living moment inside. Her friends weren't nice to me either, they were rather prejudiced.
"Do you even remember me from when I live here?"
"No, don't let it bother you. I'm not the one that mattered. Hell, I've never mattered. Sorry, Gene that I was mean to you." He said cuttingly clearly less hammer than before.
"You talked with Diana right?"I asked,
Roy smiled at me sadly,
My head jerked and I shot him an annoyed look. This was another thing I hated about Diana, she kept doing things that were nice but so annoying. I prefer Gray as Gene was the young girl I had been a long time ago, not me that live to be a thousand years old.
He didn't say another word as I park out front. It would seem that he had not wanted my friendship but not that I cared. I place a spell on him for safty.
"Good night, Good bye," I said waiting for an answer but he didn't, he just got out of the car and never looked back.
It really was amazing how people can't help but active my spells. Most people think active spells with a wand is easy, they should see me work passive spells.
