"My Inn! What have you done?" A man screamed and ran out of the rubble. The grey-faced man held Long Aotian's collars and screamed, "You better pay for this."
Long glanced at the man with narrowed eyes. 'He is the one who drugged us.' He pulled the man's grubby hands off of his shirt. 'If I was not there Xia could have—He could have been hurt,' his thoughts turned dark.
He glared at the grime covered man and sneered. "If you hadn't tried to harm my lover, I would not have destroyed your inn." Long lifted the man with just his one of his hand.
The innkeeper dangled in air screaming, "Please spare me. I didn't hurt anyone."
The golden dragon scoffed at his reply. "You didn't hurt anyone? Then what about kidnapping innocent people and selling them," Long gazed unflinchingly into his terrified eyes and whispered.
'How did he know? Was that Yin constitute guy, his lover?' The innkeeper started sweating. "Please, I—I didn't mean any harm. Please spare me!" he shouted. Spit flying off of his mouth landed on Long's face.
Growling loudly, Long wiped his face with his sleeve. "You should be thankful. My lover does not appreciate violence; otherwise you would have been minced meat under my claws," he sneered. His eyes turned red and his murderous intent started pulsing out of him.
'This guy.... He is going to kill me,' the innkeeper started trembling visibly.
A rancid smell assaulted Long's nostrils. Glancing down, he found that the disgusting man had defecated himself. He threw the man on the ground and covered his delicate nose. "Disgusting," he sneered and walked out of the small alleyway.
Walking through the busy roads, Long sniffed his clothes. "Thank god that smell didn't stick to my clothes. I really should have killed that man," he mumbled.
"Little son, Little Long here," his lover waved from one of the food stalls.
"Cute," he whispered under his breath and walked up to him. "What are you having?" he breathed into his ears.
"Oh, try this. Its duck blood curd," his little lover handed a small bowl full of blood red curd.
Xia took a spoonful of the jiggly curd and stuffed it in his mouth. "Mnn, so good," he moaned with his eyes closed.
Long Aotian peered closely at him with his mouth wide open. He nuzzled into his lover's neck and softly groaned, "Xia, don't moan like that."
The silly beast softly caressed his head and whispered in a confused voice, "Why? It's really tasty."
Long peered up at, narrowing his eyes as he whispered, "I am imagined something else inside your mouth."
Xia Che felt his cheeks heating up hearing this remark. "Little Long stop it. We are in public," he slightly pushed him away.
Long smirked and kissed his blood red cheeks. "You look just like this," he pointed towards the bowl of blood curd. He ate a spoonful and licked his lips. He slowly licked the spoon and whispered, "Delicious," into his ears.
Xia Che visibly turned cherry red. He gulped and bit his lips. "Long," he panted, holding his sleeve.
"Sir, that would be two coppers," a loud voice snapped.
Surprised, Xia Che pushed the little snake away and handed two copper ingots to the shopkeeper. He gulped at and glanced at the seductive gaze his little snake was giving him. 'Wow, that escalated so fast. Why do I become a blushing tomato every time he does something?' he held his cheeks and peered at the snake licking the spoon.
The little snake smirked at him and ate another spoonful of the blood curd. He licked his lips and winked at him.
Xia Che broke their gaze. 'Oh shit, what am I going to do now? Every time he looks at me, I couldn't help but think of the things we did in bed,' he hid his head in his palms. 'Let's try thinking of something else,' he shook his head.
He put down the bowl and cleared his throat. "Ahem, Long, what did you do to that innkeeper?"
The little snake visibly froze at this question. He looked at the ground and mumbled, "I didn't do anything."
Xia held his chin and peered into his eyes. "I can smell that man on you," he whispered.
The little snake flinched. "I—I can explain," He stammered. "He tried to hurt you, Xia. So I wanted to punish him," His voice became inaudible at the end.
Xia sighed. "Long, look at me." The little snake looked up at him with his brows scrunched up. He cupped his face and gently kissed his chin. "Everyone has their own karma to face. We don't have to personally punish each one that has crossed us. Let time will do its job," Xia whispered.
"But that does not explain his behaviour towards you," Long mumbled.. He gazed deeply into his eyes and declared, "Anyone who hurts you or even tries to hurt you, I will hurt them."
