Chapter 88 - 88 - Screaming Tree

"But I would like to marry Long in a flower field," Xia muttered with a star struck look.

"Huh what?" Felia whispered.

The chicken she held in her hand fell to the muddy ground. "What?" she whispered again.

Xia gazed at her with the same dazzling smile. "I said I want to marry Long in a flower field. Don't you think it would be pretty." He said.

His entire being shone as he talked about it, but next to him Felia was completely numb.

'What did I just hear? I think I'm having auditory hallucination. Wait, he said he was going to marry that brute. Why? He doesn't even look that handsome? Wait, wait... he wants to marry a guy,' her eyes went extremely wide.

'He is gay!!!!'

Thinking back, she had seen all the signs that they both were in a relationship but she refused to believe the absurd reality.

Like back so jealous that guy, Long gets whenever she approached Xia. How he would fight over everything related to Xia.

'Oh my god, was I the bad lady trying to get in between their relationship?' she had a horrified expression on her face.

She rapidly turned to her maid and gazed at her, eyes wide. Her maid nodded her head at her.

"You knew? Why didn't you tell ah?" she whispered shouted to her.

"I tried to princess, I gave you a lot of explicit hints but you refused to believe me," the maid pitifully whispered.

Felia thought back to that afternoon. Her maid had pulled her away to a secluded corner and said, "Please stay away from Lord Xia. He seems to have someone else in his life," she whispered.

"No what are you saying. He looks single as hell. And he agreed to be my lover," Felia said with a confident look.

Her maid shook her head vigorously. "But.... But princess when you asked him to be your lover... Lord Xia seemed a little preoccupied. I think you have misunderstood."

Felia pouted and whispered, "don't be like that. I know brother instructed you to look out for me but aren't you my friend you should support my love life ah,"

The maid was dumbstruck. She silently shook her head and walked away.

Remembering this, Felia was even more mortified. 'Was I so blind? How could I ahhhhh!' she screamed in her mind.

"Aww You dropped the chicken," Xia suddenly said. He was peering at the pitiful piece of chicken leg on the ground.

The elegant smile Felia maintained on her face cracked. "Ahmm, please excuse me," she said and got up.

"But the dark isn't safe." Xia said with a worried look.

Her lips twitched. "Not for me," she said with a broken smile.

"Oh, be careful then," Xia whispered and went back to playing with the fire.

Her lips twitched even more. Looking at his carefree look, her heart burned. 'Why did I think he loves me? Oh god this is so embarrassing.' She cried internally.

She dashed into the dark forest.

The darkness completely enveloped her figure, but she took a small illuminating pearl from her ring and lit her way.

After getting far away from camp, she gazed back at the way she ran in. "I think I'm out of earshot," she whispered.

"WHY ahh! I almost proposed to him even mommy this is so embarrassing. And to think that he loved me,"

"I AM AN IDIOT," she shouted out loud. Her voice echoed.

But this did not extinguish the fire in her heart. She went to the nearby tree and kicked it. With a whoosh, the entire tree collapsed to the ground.

This had been her first love. First time she fell deeply in love with someone, but it ended up being one side. Yet even now she couldn't bring herself to hate Xia.

"Yes, he is a good man. I wish he was not gay. He could have been an ideal father to my kids," she cried.

Like a raging beast, she kept punching and kicking trees down.

"WHY DID MY FIRST LOVE END THIS WAY?" she shouted as he kicked and punched a huge tree. The tree groaned and creaked and finally after many punches it too fell to the ground.

She went to another tree and punched it. "Why. Doesn't. He like. WOMEN!" each word followed by a punch. The tree groaned under her punches. The nearby tree swayed violently.

But unlike the other trees, this one uprooted itself and ran away from her.

"A crazy beast has entered the forest. She likes uprooting our kind ah, run!" It shouted and ran between the other trees.

Felia gazed at it with shock written all over her face. Then its words registered in her mind. "Crazy beast? Who are you calling a crazy beast ah? Come back here, I will show you how much of a kind lady I am," she said cracking her knuckles.

"AHH mommy," the tree shouted and ran to her left.

Have you guys watched "I told the sunset about you." Its freaking awesome. Trust me, its the best Bl series I have watched in a long while. It just makes me sob like a pig. I am anxiously waiting for the next episode. Eeeeppp
