Per Kain’s instructions, Jaane dropped her blood into the Magical Staff and chanted the secret codes that only she knew to make it into her Soul-Bound Weapon. Jaane then held the staff and realized it was too heavy even when she used both hands. Kain said, “Command it to become lighter, then it would be much easier for you to hold.”
Like Kain’s instructed, Jaane commanded her Soul-Bound Magical Staff to become lighter. Jaane then felt the staff became much lighter just like she was holding a bird feather in her hand. Seeing there were six large Mana Stones embedded on it, Jaane asked, “Kain, I can recharge my mana through absorbing the Earth’s natural energy. Why would you waste six Large Mana Stones on this staff?”
"This staff was crafted using the ultra-rare materials I believed can't be found anywhere in Toria Continents. It can absorb all types of magic spells including Fire, Ice, Thunder, Wind, Earth, Light, and Black Magic. Upon command, the staff will be able to release those magical damages back toward the enemies. Even when facing a level 100 magic caster, this staff can help you fight back without losing the disadvantages of being lowered level. However, the staff won't be able to absorb physical damages, but you have Iviss now so I don't have to worry much."
"Did you say it can even absorb magic spells casted by a level 100 magic caster?"
"Yes, but there will always be a limit to it. It all depends on how strong you are. At your current level, your Magical Staff may be able to absorb ten magic spells casted by a level 100 magic caster."
"Ten?"
"Yes, ten for now. At the time you reach level 100, it may even be strong enough to absorb hundreds of magic spells. Remember this, you can always command the Magical Staff to release the magic spells back toward the enemies upon absorbing one or two magic spells. By that way, it will be able to have enough room to absorb more magic spells when needed."
Jaane was stunned hearing that. She was just a level 51 Saint Earth Mage. At her current level, even being able to survive one magic spell casted by a level 100 Mage was considered to be a miracle. With the help of such powerful Magical Staff, Jaane can't imagine how many advantages when she advances to level 100.
“About the six Large Mana Stones embedded on it, when we become God-tiers, it would be harder for you to recharge your mana since everyone would be flying in the higher realms instead of majority ground battle like in the lower realms.”
“God-tier? You and me?”
“Of course."
"I know you will be able to become a God-tier. But for me..." Jaane thought to herself.
Kain continued, "Earth Magic is weak against Wind Magic because Wind Mage can fly away if needed while Earth Mage has a disadvantage in mobility. But when it comes to ground battle, Earth Magic is great at both defense and offense. In the higher realms, everyone can fly because they receive a pair of wings upon becoming God-tiers. It would be a disadvantage for you which was why these six Large Mana Stones can help you recharge your mana pool easier and much better without landing on the ground.”
Becoming a Saint-tier magic caster was already enough for Jaane as she can live for eternity with Kain. But after hearing Kain wanted to become a God-tier, Jaane was afraid she may lose him because it sure will take much longer for her to become a God Mage. Three hundred years is one thing, but millions of years is another situation. If Kain advances to God-tier, will he be patient enough to wait for her for millions of years? Even so, Jaane smiled and nodded her head to show she had no objection to Kain’s goal of becoming a God-tier.
Jaane didn’t know anything about Kain having a God-tier Potion for warrior and another God-tier Potion for a magic caster that allows him to become a God-tier at any time. If Kain wanted to, he can use the God-tier Potion for warrior and let Jaane use the God-tier Potion for magic caster so they both can become God-tiers now. But of course, Kain wasn’t going to use those potions anytime soon. Even after finishing destroying the Mages Council, Kain still wanted to take time to create as many new magic spells as possible before coming to higher realms where he will face much stronger opponents just like Flint Duril.
Holding the Magical Staff in her hand, Jaane smiled knowing Kain had put a lot of thought into crafting such a valuable item. Jaane said, "Kain, I would like to try something."
Kain thought Jaane wanted him to cast a magic spell toward her so she can use the Staff to absorb it. Kain asked, "Sure. Are you ready?"
However, different from what Kain had thought. Jaane closed her eyes and started chanting for one of her Druid Magic spells named [Animate] and turned her Soul-Bound Magical Staff into a mini fairy.
The fairy flew around Jaane then looked at its hands and feet. The fairy checked for the two pairs of wings she had on the back. After carefully examine herself, the fairy turned toward Jaane and asked, "Did you do this?"
Jaane nodded and said, "I have granted you life. Nothing changes. You are still my Soul-Bound Magical Staff. But when I'm not using you, you can have a life and live however you wanted."
"Do I have a name?"
"I will name you Reana. Do you like that name?"
"Reana, Reana... I love that name. Thank you, mother."
Being called a mother didn't upset Jaane, but made her happy knowing how Reana felt about her. Jaane smiled and said, "Reana, your father will cast some powerful magic spells toward you. Do you think you can absorb it?"
"Father?" Reana then turned toward Kain and asked, "Is my mother referring to you?"
Kain was still amazed at how Jaane could turn a weapon into a living thing such as Reana. After being asked, Kain smiled and said, "I created you. So yes, I am your father."
Reana then curiously flew around Kain several times then said, "Father, I am ready."
Kain nodded and casted [Force Punch] spell using full power toward Reana. Just like Kain expected, Reana absorbed his [Force Punch] spell with no problem.
Jaane then commanded, "Reana, release that magic spell back toward your father."
Reana has immediately done so, but Kain was just standing there allowing the [Force Punch] spell to pass through him without causing any damages.
Happy with the result, Kain said, "Well done, Reana. You must be aware of how many magic spells you can absorb and must release them when needed so you can always have room to absorb more spells, understand?"
"Yes, father."
"Now go back to your mother."
After Reana flew back toward Jaane, Jaane asked, "Reana, can you regenerate my mana pool?"
As expected, because of the six Large Mana Stones, Reana could also regenerate mana for Jaane by placing her hands on Jaane's shoulder. However, Reana wouldn't be able to regenerate mana for any other magic casters besides Jaane since she was Jaane's Soul-Bound Magical Staff.
