Chapter 79 - The Old Family House

Even though the journey continued after this brief interruption Yang Xinyu had difficult time focusing on the road. He kept peeking at her t.h.i.g.hs every now and then. His mind kept racing between having s.e.x with her or drive the car. Finally he schemed a way and devilishly smiled.

After an hour they reached a beautiful township. It had exclusive houses, each of them built tastefully. It looked as if only crème la crème of the society could afford this housing settlement. The houses were surrounded by at least 40 mu of land. There were trees on the periphery of each plot. There were several fields where the farmers were working. Plenty of vineyards and orchards dotted the land. The roads were beautifully laid and the traffic was sparse. She saw a few elderly man sitting and playing mahjong under a pagoda enclosure.

They must have passed a few houses before stopping in front of an old house. It looked as if it was built over a hundred years back and was maintained in a way that it didn't lose its oriental façade.

"We are at my grandma's house. Come," said Yang Xinyu before stepping out of the car.

The beautiful house mesmerized Wu Lina. She was looking at it in awe. Yang Xinyu held her hand and took her inside. "I haven't got anyone here before. You are the first person to come here," he said warmly looking at her.

She was moved. "Where's your grandma?" she asked.

"She passed away when I was nineteen," he replied sadly.

"Oh, I am sorry," she said.

The interiors of the house gave it a dynastic look. All the furniture was beautifully carved and designed. The wall had dark colored wood panels in the living room. A huge chandelier hung in the center. One of the walls had large paintings of five men in traditional attire. She went near them and observed that all of them had similar features. "Who are they?" she asked.

"They are my great-grandfathers," he replied. "This house has been in the family from five generations," he continued.

"My grandmother retired to this house when my grandfather expired. She was very loving and wanted to stay close to his memories. My parents used to leave me with my grandmother when I was a young child, especially when they had to go on long trips. Earlier I detested staying here, but gradually with my grandmother's loving attitude I yielded. She loved me more than my father," he chuckled.

"Later I spent all my summers here during school vacations. My parents were constantly arguing due to my father's multiple affairs. And this was the best place to escape those arguments. I lived peacefully here. Then when my grandmother died, my parents tried to put this property on the market. I refused vehemently and didn't allow them to sell it. I have been maintaining this place ever since. There is an old caretaker who takes care of this house. There are too many memories attached with this house…" his became emotional, as he choked…

"I want our wedding to be held here Wu Lina. This place is closest to my heart and I want this to belong to the person who is closest to my heart," he said looking at her expectantly.

"Yang Xinyu, I love you… and am so grateful to you…" she said looking down at her shoes.

He picked her up and kissed her. His plans were falling right in place. He would propose her as soon as she graduated from her computer school and instead of making her work at the Yang Corporation, he would make her his wife.

Yang Xinyu showed her around the house and then took her outside to show her the meadows surrounding it. The beauty of gardens and the plantations captivated Wu Lina. She walked with him hand in hand. They passed an area where a dilapidated shed was standing.

"What is that shed for?" she asked.

"That's where my grandfather and grandmother bred horses. When my grandfather died, my grandma didn't give it up. She continued maintaining the stable. There were about twenty horses in our stable, all racing horses. There was one I liked the most, a black stallion. I loved riding him. I was a jockey in several races when I was a teenager," he chortled, as he felt excited remembering those days.

Wu Lina was horrified! "Jockey! You aren't a jockey anymore? Right?"

"Haha. No! There are no horses now. Unfortunately my work pressure increased and I had to sell all the horses. That's why the stable is in a derelict state now," he replied.

"If you promise that you won't be a jockey again, I'd love to rebuild this," she asked for his permission.

"If you will rebuild this, we will first buy five horses," he agreed.

"Why five horses?" she asked.

"Well, one horse for me and four horses for my sons," he replied.

"Again – four!" she spanked him hard on his bums and ran away from him.

He let her run for a few meters before he started. Within seconds he came from behind, scooped her and threw her on his shoulders.

"Yang Xinyu put me down, NOW!" she spanked him again on his bums.

He spanked her back and said, "Let's go back to the house."

He carried her on his shoulder till they reached the house, and then he slowly lowered her, her body sliding down creating the friction he craved for. She sn.a.k.e.d her hands around his neck and curled her legs around his waist. They entered the house kissing each other passionately. Yang Xinyu took her to the bedroom upstairs and made love.

When they were both lying side by side, he told, "This used to be my bedroom when I stayed here. You are the only one who has ever entered this room apart from my grandmother. Lina I cherish you so much that I won't be able to live another day if it isn't you in my life. I know you want to work after completing your course but is there a slight possibility that you be just my wife?"

Wu Lina looked at him and cupped his face, "I know you want that Xinyu, but I really want to explore the world… I have worked very hard for this."

The fact that she wanted to be independent made him respect his girl even more. He smiled and said, "Let's go to have lunch."

They reached City H in the evening at 8pm. Yang Xinyu went to her apartment. They had dinner and slept early at about 10pm. Wu Lina was very tired and Yang Xinyu was concerned about her health. They both took a hot shower together and went to bed. Yang Xinyu didn't have to pick her up this time. She had found her way and was snuggling in his c.h.e.s.t. He just wrapped his hands around her.

---

Next day Yang Xinyu dropped Wu Lina to the hospital for her morning shift and he went to his office at the usual time. The day started on a very normal note.

By afternoon there was a huge chaos in the hospital. A notice was circulated on the hospital's website that said that all employees were supposed to sign a contract mandatorily. A copy of the contract was being sent to them. Everybody was wondering what kind of contract would it be. The head nurse called all the nurses to the nurse station and held a meeting to explain them about the contract. Wu Lina was shocked to hear about its terms and conditions. She had to stop herself from crying in front of the other nurses multiple times.
