Chapter 15 - more news to come

When Liam had left the restaurant earlier he did not check to see if anyone was following him.He was furious at the situation that he failed to notice paparazzi had followed him to the park where he waited for Liv.They managed to snap a few pictures of them together and her leaving in the same car.

"welcome to my home"Liam told liv as he gently kissed her hand.They pulled into a gated property. Once they entered the place was just so beautiful it took her breath away.the house was so huge and elegant with its white marble coloring.what caught her attention more was how beautiful the garden was. so many bright colors and plants of different types and sizes."it's so mesmerizing!!! I've never seen anything like it."he smiled as he drove to up to the garage that was located in the side of the house.

As he went to open the car door for her she gave him a worried look. "is something wrong?" he asked her helping her out."I feel so out of place here...I shouldn't be here .." sighing in relief he holds her hand as they walk inside the house. "you more than anyone belong by my side.Dont ever feel inferior because you are worth more than any person in this world with just your honest nature."how does he always know what to say to calm her heart she thought to herself giving him a smile as she leaned her head on his shoulder.

At that moment Sadie called her brother when she heard the garage door close."we are in the office!" Sadie and Carter were waiting for him to arrive making a few calls to different people to see how much was being said.Seeing her brother walk in with liv holding hands shocked her."Liv what a pleasant surprise....I was not expecting you,especially with the current situation" she told her keeping an eye on her.Carter seemed amused with the unexpected guest Liam had brought along."If I'm not mistaken dont you know the Wilson family?"Carter asked her feeling suspicious."yes actually they took me in when I was younger."she responded to him.Knowing what all the questions were heading to liv turned to Liam. "it was a mistake to come sorry I shouldn't be part of this conversation."Holding her in his arms he kissed her forehead "I brought her here so she can be aware of what's going on and there won't be any misunderstanding."Sadie walked up to liv and questioned her"how are we sure that you are not involved with everything going on right now?"Liam walked up to liv to hold her hand as she sat down on a chair next to Sadie and spoke before liv had a chance to respond." she only knows about what happened last night leading up to this mornings headlines."confused at what was going on liv asked the three of them with worry in her eyes."what exactly is going on here? did something happen when you left earlier? please can someone say anything to me.."Liam was at a loss of words.how could he explain to her without her thinking badly of the situation."you poor thing. I knew that girl was not to be trusted"sadie said as she looked at Carter."so you have yet to see the current news that got released after his lunch meeting?"Carter asked as he wallked up to the desk typing on the laptop." you failed to mention it to her brother?"Carter asked as he turned the computer around." this is why I brought her here so I can explain what happened."Liv walked up to the desk looking at the images on the screen.The image of her best friend holding a ring with so much enthusiasm.the other image of both cam and Liam kissing outside with her arms wrapped around his neck.The headlines claiming that he was officially engaged and would be join companies with his soon to be wife. The reporters even had all of camilles information too with a picture of her smiling ,waving at her fiance as he drove off.

Liv felt torn at the sight of all those images and headlines."where are they getting all that from? well looks to me that someone must have set this up.how else would They know the location and time that you were to see her."sadie went off "I'm waiting on a call from my assistant to notify me who sent the ring and the footage from the restaurant to see what I can find."carter informed them. "love...please say something to me..."Liam said as he walked towards liv to embrace her."I dont know what to say....just that.... it hurts ,but to be honest it's hard to believe she would do that. truth is she loves the attention"she told him as she faced him trying to hold in her tears."I promised you I would do everything I could to clear things.I understand if you dont want anything to do with me especially since you have known her longer."at that moment her phone began to ring. checking the caller ID she saw that it was cam.Sadie saw who it was " answer it...dont tell them you're here with us." she said

"Hey cam what's going on?"liv answered putting it on speaker to prove that she didnt have anything to do with their plans."hey I wont be home until tomorrow night.Have you heard?I'm so excited!!!"cam started rambling on. " No ive been studying so I havent had time.Im on my way home actually."liv told her. "typical liv...I told Theo that he would find you at the park. you should really talk to him he loves you."cam said with full confidence.At hearing her say that she felt upset "I dont want anything with him ...is that all?"immediately cam cut in "wait wait wait I called to tell you that I'm engaged with Liam!!!he proposed to me and even said he was going to support me with the family business. we just dont want to much attention right now since all the media keeps asking me for interviews with details about us."

"cam are you sure ...its just..that it seems like so much for one date" liv asked. The siblings listened carefully to the conversation while Liam appeared to be more upset."Are you calling me a LIAR!!!!LIV HOW COULD YOU BE SO CRUEL TO ME!!!IS IT BECAUSE YOU'RE JELOUS THAT SOMEONE LIKE HIM WANTS ME INSTEAD OF A LOW CLA.S.S LIKE YOU!!!"Cam started yelling"LOOK AT THE MEDIA ITS EVERYWHERE IM GETTING MARRIED WITH HIM AND ILL DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES!!!" She yelled hanging up on liv.

"Well good to know she was the one who invented all the information that the media has."Sadie said."I'm going to the main office to review some contracts I'll call later to discuss the meeting we will be having with your fiances family tomorrow" she mocked Liam as she left.Liv turner to him "I need some fresh air for a bit can I got to the garden for a few minutes?"she asked him " feel free to roam I'll be there in a bit to see if you need anything"he told her watching her turn and head out to the garden.

Carter walked up to his brother watching liv go outside. " It seems like there is always something interfering with your relationship with this young woman.She seems sincere towards you brother."sighing at what his younger brother just said Liam looked at the direction where she had left."I love her....I know we just met but there is something about her that is special.I want a life full of happiness with liv."Laughing at his brother Carter grabbed his keys "well I'll be joining Sadie we will talk later. Enjoy your time with her.She needs you right now to understand her confusion and feelings towards everything."

After seeing his siblings leave he went to the garden to search for Liv.She sat next to a pond by a big oak tree looking at the sky.What was she suppose to do or think?Her friend lied to her and completely blew up on her but yet she felt as if she were the one betraying her friend.Was she to give up on her love,her happiness with Liam to continue making sure that cam got everything she wished for?

"what is on your mind love?"Liam asked as he sat next to her.
