Chapter 16 - what else can go wrong?

"careful you'll ruin your outfit with grass stains"liv said as he sat down next to her.

"materialistic things don't matter what. what matters is you right now.what can I do for you?I know all of this is hard to take in but I will be by your side every step of the way." feeling a bit more comfortable with him by her side liv wrapped her arm with his." thank you... for everything.I know it's been a short time but I want all this time to get to know you better.

Helping her up and lifting her in his arms Liam kissed her on her beautiful pink lips. "what ever it is you want to know I'll tell you with the condition that you tell me everything about yourself." Feeling happiness at that moment she kissed him back. "deal...I want to forget about all of this and it be just us even if it's just a few hours." all afternoon they were both so entranced with each other talking about their lives and all their likes and dislikes.They both realized how much in common they had and to them it felt as if they have known each other all their lives.

while Liv was enjoying every minute she had with Liam ,Camille was at her uncle's house discussing the next days meeting with her brother and uncle." well everything is going well but what if they ask about it tomorrow.Liam was real upset with everything.What do I do now?"cam asked.

"we just have to make it seem that your reputation will be damaged for a certain reason and try to convince for an actual wedding to take place even if it's just for show.look I'll do the talking for you Camille"Adam instructed."Theo I expect full support and co-operation from you.Liv is not a problem anymore but if you want to make sure she doesnt see Mr. Hayes you have to take her out of the picture when the time comes."Adam had struggled for years trying to get to the top but if he could get higher than the Hayes family he was willing to use who and what he needed to get there.

"I don't think I have to worry about that. She will do anything to make sure I'm happy. she feels like she owes us the world.Besides now she will think that I'm getting married with Liam."she replied as she paced around."with all of this I think now would be a good time to get closer to her without her realizing my true intentions."Theo said as he looked at the time.

Adam quietly listened to them and finally spoke up " No dont do anything yet Theo leave her be for now.shes not a problem.Now we just have to get a contract with them and make sure things go smoothly you will both stay here and we will prepare early tomorrow morning for the meeting."

Back at the Hayes residence it was already dark outside and the garden had a completely different view with all of the lights scattered around illuminating the path and fountains. The scent of the flowers was so sweet and calming making it such a romantic spot.Liv walked around enjoying the view of such a place.Not even a park can compare to the beauty she was seeing there. so clean and elegant yet it felt so free to make any persons day better.Liam walked over to liv as he hung up the phone."well it looks like they won't get the videos until tomorrow night . Either way Sadie and Carter will be staying at Carter's apartment close to work.They are preparing things for tomorrow."calm smiling at Liam she held his hand."please don't stress so much. things Will get cleared and I will help you in any way possible."Smiling back at her he kissed her check watching her blush."I have dinner prepared for us you just need to decide if you would like to eat inside or a special place here in the garden." embracing him she replied "I would very much like the outdoors something about this place makes me feel peaceful and happy." Looking into her eyes he c.a.r.e.s.sed her cheek." I thought you would say that so I had everything set up in the garden.you just need to close your eyes."

"ok....just don't let me fall"she said closing her eyes and letting him guide her."I will protect you with my life if you give me the opportunity to show you." she could smell the intoxicating smell of his cologne making her crazy inside every time he was near her.Finally stopping he stands right next to her. he gently whispered in her ear "open your eyes love" hearing him she opened her eyes and was shocked at the magnificent view.the light of the bright full moon made the lake look like it was glowing.there were high rose hedges that made that location private yet so romantic.there was a cherry blossom tree in full bloom.Under the tree was a neatly set blanket with two baskets set on it. A few feet away was a small table with a candle lit dinner ready for them."it's so beautiful but why didn't I see this before?"walking her to the table he responded"This is my favorite place.its where I come to forget about all my problems." hearing his words she asked him "but why bring me? "

"you are the only person I know who understands what all this is to me.i felt like I could share this with you."

Enjoying their dinner they continued their conversation.Liam looked at his watch seeing that it was a quarter til ten." would you look at the time.. it really has flown by " putting down her glass of champagne she stood up walking towards the lake. "it's getting late but to be honest I don't want this night to end" she said as she picked up a fallen blossom from the lake.
