221 You Guys Are Really Too Much

The others slowly left as well until only Harry and Glenn were the only ones left.

Glenn wiped the blood from his lips as he remained staring at the television.

He still wouldn't believe it, "That must be an impostor."

"Do you think I wouldn't think of it that way? We are the ones who checked the DNA of the bodies that returned, that wench was surely among them," Harry angrily said as he threw the first thing he got ahold of to the television, breaking it in the process.

Of course, just like Clark Price, what they say was in contrast to what their minds are telling them.

Other than them, no one should have known about that item. For her to know that only means that she either knew of it from Nathalie or she is indeed Nathalie Price herself.

"Try and contact those brothers and do your best to get information from them. The portrait sent were the same as the one who appeared a while ago. Surely they must have seen her and was just trying to cover it up," Harry instructed.

"I understand," Glenn replied.

He then walked out of the room heading back to his and Madison's room.

Upon entry, Madison was there reading a book by the window, she looked up at him and her eyes were dead.

It has been going on for a few days now that she had been receiving his anger.

She stopped resisting for there is no point in doing it. He would just become rougher.

She didn't when was the last time he showed her his gentle side, she wanted to leave but what could she do? She chose this path after all.

It was already nighttime when he left the room and she was finally left alone.

It was then that her phone started ringing.

Seeing as it was an unknown number she hesitated before answering it.

"Don't try and kill yourself," was what she heard after answering the call.

"Who are you?" she asked.

"I should have helped you sooner," was the answer.

"How can you help me?" Madison asked.

"But I am not a saint, I couldn't do everything. So I will need your help in order for me to help you. Would you be willing to do so?"

Madison furrowed her brows, "Just who are you? What do you know about my condition?"

"You called me, after you called him asking for his help. Somehow you got hold of my number but I was busy and dismissed you. Yet I didn't expect for him to start treating you in such a way right now."

Madison remained silent.

"I thought he would at least be kind to you but I guess he was a devil among devils."

"Why would you help me now?"

"We have the same enemies, or do you still treat him as your husband?"

Madison scoffed, "Husband? He should be called an animal."

"I can hear regret."

"You remember."

The voice on the other side said after a few moments of silence.

"Even if I did, there's no point in trying to free myself."

"Are you surrendering then?"

"Even if I didn't want to, is there still something I could do about it?"

"Your father."

Madison laughed upon hearing this word.

"My memories that were gone includes the reason why I runaway in the first place. What I had were our happy memories who would have thought that my hatred would run so deep. No wonder I somehow feel reserve towards him."

The person on the other side remained silent.

"My mother was gone because of him, do you think he would help me when I am the reason he could still continue his researches? Why he has all these money right now?"

Her voice was filled with bitterness.

"I have heard that you were smart and could be known as a good actress as well," after some silence, she finally heard the other side speak.

"Huh?" she became baffled by this sudden change.

"I can help you, that is if you are willing to do more work."

"Why would I believe you?" Madison asked again.

"The reason why you called for me in the first place."

"You dismissed me back then."

"I can't always accommodate everything. I am not god nor do I have supernatural powers. Nor am I the president of this country. I have my own limitations, that's why I am gathering as many people as I can to bring down the enemies I know I wouldn't be able to take down on my own."

Madison pursed her lips.

"You know…"

She raised her head and listened much more attentively.

"Other than those who you knew, Ashton or me. Have you ever tried reaching out to others?"

She didn't reply.

"Then let me ask you another thing. As the Madison of today, have you ever tried to sincerely befriend anyone? Whether they are of high rank or not?"

Madison shook her head without replying as if the person on the other side of the phone could see her.

"That's where we are different. When I befriend someone, I do it sincerely not because I need him or her for something. And in return when I do need help and they can give me a helping hand, they would willingly give it."

Madison scoffed, "Are you trying to preach about how I lived my life?"

"No, but I want you to know if you can't do it sincerely then you can only have a give and take relationship. Which is what I am offering you right now."

Madison bit her lip, "Am I someone… who really can't be a friend?"

"Someday, when you finally got your real freedom. Maybe you'll be able to know if you can be a real friend or not. If you do want my help then you can contact me on this number."

The call ended and Madison started crying.

Her childhood was fun, her loving mother and father were beside her.

She had friends who would stand up for her.

But somehow, when her father's career boomed and they left that small town where they lived. Everything slowly changed.

Her father barely comes home because of his research while her mother started having some fun outside leaving her on her own.

Her new friends turned out to be fake ones and would stab her in the back every time they didn't like what she did.

After her father found out of her mother's endeavor he lost it and killed her.

This was something no one knew, something all those people in power hid because of her father's standing in the community.

And that's when she decided to leave everything behind and find her own life.

She became a receptionist in the Wright hotel and met Ashton.

That time was among the happiest she had been.

But then it was once again short lived for she fell prey to Glenn's scheme and ended up marrying him.

And now, her life has finally reached rock bottom.

She stared at her phone for who knows how long.

"Okay, so care to explain what is going on?" Xander finally speak up after watching Amber do everything she needed to do.

"Then ask away," she answered as she removed her wig.

"You hacked?" he asked the first thing that comes to mind.

"Well yes, I am the Pianist after all."

She said it like it was nothing.

But Xander and Samantha had their mouths drop.

Who was Pianist?

The most mysterious and most amazing hacker of the world.

"Stop joking around, will you?" Xander cleared his throat and said.

Amber just raised an eyebrow.

Alissa, Timothy and Ashton had no change in their look.

Seeing this, the smile on Xander's face slowly dropped and his face changed to disbelief.

He slowly shook his head, "No, no, no."

"Go on and keep saying no, it was not like I am asking you believe me for I am just answering your questions," Amber said nonchalantly as she removes her contact lens.

Xander looked at Timothy.

"You have already seen what she did a while ago. That was the Price Empire, do you think anyone could just hack through their system?" Timothy said.

"Your not my sister," he finally said after a while.

Amber raised an eyebrow, "Well we already declared that you are not our brother a while ago. Good thing you finally accepted that fact."

"You-"

Xander was left speechless by her reply, he then looked at Timothy who shrugged and turned away from him.

"You guys are really too much!!"

He felt like crying, since young they were always like this. He was always the one being combed by the two of them.
