237 I Have Already Said To You...

It's been a few days since they saw Nathalie on the other side of the screen but there was still no news of where she might be.

They couldn't openly send someone to tail Xander and Timothy for they are in the Wright territory.

They have this silent agreement of not going running amok in another Empire's jurisdiction.

They tried to check just where did the two of them stayed while still in Apophis Country and found that it was a villa that was owned by Ashton Wright.

It was not uncommon for one or two person from another empire to have a villa on a country not under them.

As long as it was not too extravagant then it would be fine.

"Ashton Wright again," he squinted his eyes.

"They said that upon hearing their friends situation he offered them his place, it was not long after that he and that Amber Wood came and met them," Harry reported what was reported to him.

Amber was smart enough that she was able to change the names and details of the time they arrived. She had of course had the name Nathalie arrive but came from another country.

The name Amber came with Ashton and the others.

With proper connection doing so was easy. She can also have someone else dress up as her so that even with the CCTV, no one would suspect anything.

She knew showing up would make them look into her but she wouldn't let them catch her until she herself comes out.

"It was just one girl, why can't you do your job properly??!!" he roared as he slammed the glass he was holding crashing it in the process.

Harry could only bow his head, he tried his best as well.

"Stop standing there like an idiot and find that one. She knew what we need from her, it is obvious she will keep using it against us," he said.

Harry left happily, he no longer want to stay in one room with his father who only knew how to command people, yet in the end he couldn't do anything.

Clark has the most contribution in the Empire and was deemed worthy to leading it while Glenn was still young and considered inexperienced.

'Young? Glenn was already of age to take over and have a lot of achievements. He just didn't want to let go of his position for he will be thrown out once Glenn became the new master,' he grumbled in his mind as he walked away from the room.

~"You shouldn't be too hard on your children, remember Clark they will become stronger as they grow older. They might get back at you for treating them so badly. I'm not saying they will do it for sure but if you were to be too much..."~

This was once what his wife have told him, Clark could still remember it clearly.

He had loved her more than his children, so her dying was the trigger for him to really lose all warmth inside him.

Some of his children became greedy and they fought one another only Nathan was the exception but in the end he too left him.

His wife had once the thought of Nathan taking over and might be able to change the Empire itself but he decided to runaway.

Clark's world was now completely dark, he was only living because of money and power, if these were to disappear as well then he would no longer have anything.

With a cold glint in his eyes, he looked outside the window, "Make sure to find that child no matter what."

The next day all six of them woke up later than usual. The events from before and yesterday have added up and they ended up being too tired.

Adding to the fact that no matter what they couldn't feel at ease in Apophis Country. Only now did their nerves finally calmed down.

"Mother why is everyone still asleep? This is a rare chance for us to have more people," Ashley complained.

She was sitting by the kitchen counter watching her mother cook for all of them.

This was a rare chance for her to cook for her son, especially since he finally brought home his fiance, their soon to be daughter-in-law.

How happy she felt when Amber deliberately called her mother last night.

(Flashback)

"Say, say, Laina," Sarah suddenly called out to her.

This was during that one time they were together at the rest house.

"What is it?" Liana asked looking back at her.

"Don't you think that those two looks good together?" Sarah happily said as she pointed at one side.

A young Nathalie was playing with her brothers and Ashton and it was always Ashton whom she keeps following.

"You!! Are you trying to pair up your four year old child?" Liana was flabbergasted.

"What's so bad about it? Say Liana if there comes a chance that those two were to become together, I would be very happy to be your in-law," Sarah said with a smile.

Liana laughed, she didn't think much about it for those two were still young.

(End Of Flashback)

Liana suddenly laughed upon remembering this.

"What is it mother?" Ashley asked in confusion.

"Well, I guess the family do have some strong intuition, this engagement was foretold by her mother. I just never thought that it would happen more than 10 years later," Liana explained.

"10 years?" Ashley asked in wonder.

When she did the math her eyes grew wide, "Their mother paired brother and Amber while Amber was four?"

Liana once again laughed.

"So why are they not yet still up?" Ashley once again asked.

"Let them rest, what they have just gone through was too much. This are the only times they could really rest. You do know a meeting will be once again held the day after tomorrow right?" Liana explained.

Ashley puffed her cheeks and nodded before standing up, "Let me help you mother with that."

Being someone who is into culinary, she loves helping out in the kitchen.

Amber woke up and Ashton was no longer beside her, his side was already cold as well, which means he had woken up long ago.

When she checked the time, she was shock to see that it was already past lunch time.

After washing up and getting changed, she came down.

"We are the only ones here?" she asked Alissa and the other three.

Even Samantha was already awake.

"Yup, they went out for work and Ashley went to school," Alissa answered.

"We already had our lunch you should go and eat something. It was aunt Liana and Ashley who cooked everything," Xander told her.

"Wow you really are treating this place as if it is your own," Amber said with a laugh.

"Indeed, you are all quite shameless staying here and even treating it as your own, despite being from another Empire," a different voice butted in their conversation.

Looking towards the door, Leon Ansel came with Carla Ansel, who was in a wheel chair. She already know what Leon Ansel looks like because of pictures.

Amber raised an eyebrow, "I didn't know there would be intru- sorry visitors I mean."

Then she gave the maid who let them in a look, not to her surprise the maid didn't back down and just looked at her.

'Letting them in even though your masters are not around, quite a bold decision indeed. Do you expect the guests to entertain them?'

"I see that you really have a rude mouth, this is not even your house," Leon said sharply.

The others didn't bother standing, they remained seated watching Amber do whatever she wants.

"I can see that you came here with the knowledge that the master of the house is not around. Have you come to get back at me for the foot of your granddaughter? Quite bold of you, this is not even your house," Amber said back with a grin.

"How preposterous!! You dare answer back to your elders!!" he roared as he pushed Carla inside the house.

"Oh how rude of me, were you my elder? I thought we are of the same age since you would step in the fight of your granddaughter," Amber sneered.

"Who do you think you are? Someone as lowly as you dare talk back to us? Just what can you do?" Leon angrily said at him.

'She is a multi business owner,' Alissa thought.

'She is the pianist,' Timothy thought.

'She is the fiance of the next master of the Empire you currently are in,' Samantha thought.

'By rights, she actually owns an Empire,' Xander thought.

All four of them were looking at the grandfather and granddaughter pair as if they were but shows.

"I wonder what I can do? I have already said to you..."

Amber replied as she looked down at Carla who remained quiet all this time acting like a damsel in distress.

"I can show you what great really means and what connections really are."
