252 You Just Created Him

James slowly sat down, Amber looked at Xander and Xander poured water on a glass handing it to James.

"Suddenly coming here and telling me my child has died, what do you expect me to feel?" James asked them.

Hearing this, Timothy remembered how he reacted when he found out.

"I don't know if I should apologize but I have seen the longing in my mother, you left a sentence on her and her having betrayed your expectation didn't try to approach you in order to fulfill your wish."

Amber also sat down.

She can feel the pain, of course, it was this man whom her mother loved since childhood.

"That is why I also have no idea how to approach you with this but just as I have learned from my brothers, you have the right to know. That she had passed away and you no longer have to wait."

It is harsh indeed, very harsh but Amber really didn't know how to approach him or speak with him.

They have seen that he was a righteous man and they respect him for that but all three of them are the same.

They didn't know the man named James Scott.

Slowly tears flowed down his eyes, and silent sobs turned louder and louder.

Amber looked away she knew, the pain going inside him now is something she will never understand.

Maybe someday when she became a parent herself she would understand but for now, she just can't

She stood up for she is really having a bad feeling over things, "I'll leave everything to you. I am having a bad feeling to where Ash went. I want to check it for myself."

Xander and Timothy looked at one another. Intuition in the family was quite strong.

"Be careful," they said.

Amber nodded and left riding another motorbike she borrowed.

They watched her through the window of the study room as they waited for James to calm down and for the information to sink in.

About half an hour later he finally looked up at them with his red eyes and he seemed to have aged even more.

"Your mother, Sarah, can you tell me what you know about her?" he asked.

No matter how much he cries, she will no longer return. No matter how much he waits, she will no longer show up.

At the very least, he wants to know how she lived as Sarah Price.

Xander and Timothy sat opposite him.

"Well, the one who really stayed with her longer is our sister but we will try our best to tell you the life of Sarah Price that we know," Timothy finally said.

Amber knew where Ashton and the others would be. She knew and she didn't bother calling for if they are indeed in danger it is better for Ashton to focus on that instead.

She left the bike on a hidden place before walking stealthily towards the building.

When she looked inside she saw Ashton kneeling down on the middle and a red dot was on his head.

She squinted her eyes and she looked towards the building where it was coming from.

She knew that Ashton and the others came prepared. They prepared and made sure that a sniper was not among the other group.

For this to happen she knew that it was bad news.

She left her spot and went up the building where she knew the sniper was.

Upon reaching that place she leaned on the wall and looked at the sniper, her aura turned cold upon seeing him.

She looked around and by measurement she would be able to reach him in a minute if she run fast without him noticing her.

So she waited, she knew Ashton wouldn't just stay put and kneel in there.

She needed this person to have all his focus on the other side in order not to notice her.

She watched and saw him panic as he moved and moved his gun as if following someone.

'I told you he won't just sit still,' she thought as she remained waiting.

She can see him being distracted but that's not what she needed, a little noise from behind would make this one jump.

So she remained waiting until she saw him smile in triumph and he stopped moving as if he once again found his target and is smiling on him mocking him.

This is the moment she had been waiting, the moment that confidence sits in him and he lost sight of other things.

She run and jumped on him, Kent screamed on the pain in his back.

If it were her, she would have wanted to just shoot this person but she can't. Ashton should be the one, she knew that's what he would have wanted.

Kent tried to push her off his back and Amber jumped back.

The gun was still in position and this is the reason why Ashton still didn't move.

When Kent looked back he was taken aback to see that it was Amber.

"Indeed that is the movement you should never do when in battle, never stop in shock. I'm ashamed as your master in sniping," Amber said before kicking him on his side.

She didn't stop and held him by the arm throwing him over her back.

She still moved and stepped on his head before she finally pulled out her gun, "Now shall we continue what they believe you are doing?"

She made Kent follow Ashton's head with the red mark of a sniper gun.

Then she took his two earpieces before giving Ashton one word, "Go."

Another moment later she spoke to Frank who was instructing Kent to shoot, "Let's just say he can no longer shoot."

She can see that Kent would do anything but she can also see how much he cherishes his life.

As she waits, she looked down at Kent who slowly kneels in front of her.

"Please spare me," was his first words.

Amber raised an eyebrow, "Spare you? You? Don't make me laugh."

"Please I was just-"

"Don't talk, just because I taught you doesn't mean I have any emotions towards you. I am not such type of person, I teach you I use you."

Her voice was cold and Kent could see no emotion in her eyes, like he was but a useful tool to her.

"Well maybe I should thank you. With this, he would surely become a real underworld upcoming lord."

She smiled coldly and Kent knew he made the greatest mistake of his life.

This was when Ashton came and tortured him.

Amber watched this, betrayal was the most taboo when it comes to them. Just how many times have they suffered because of it?

But Amber was truly grateful, she can see Ashton's potential.

She can see how much he could grow and can see what was stopping him.

He had gone through so much and had turned cold due to experiences but his coldness was still lacking.

It was still lacking the ruthlessness.

Not the blinded ruthlessness but ruthlessness of a clear minded person.

That is why she knew with this, with how calm he looked while kneeling down a while ago, she knew that this is the last step for Ashton to really integrate himself with the underworld.

Actually she didn't want this for him, but she had told him, she would support him no matter what.

And since he decided to enter the underworld then she would watch him grow and support him in all of his growth.

The way he wounds and hit Kent without batting an eyelid, she couldn't help but sigh.

'You just created him, he has all the potential but he was still kind. Yet now you have created him, someone who would surely wreck havoc in the underworld,' she thought as she watched on the side.

When he asked her through the earpiece if he was still soft, she could only answer him honestly.

She saw how lenient he was with those he was bringing to the underworld after all.

Their battle will never be over until they took down their enemies and so they could only keep growing.

"Why are you here?"

His question snapped her out of her thoughts before she smiled at him.

"I told you my intuition is quite strong," she answered.

Ashton stared at her seriously.

"You knew about it didn't you?" he then asked.

Amber looked at him with a look that answered his question.

"Was that harsh of me?" she asked instead.

Ashton shook his head as he led her down the stairs.

"No."

He placed an arm around her shoulder as they descend.

"I guess it is time to clean up the line up if we want to continue climbing up," he then said.

Then he thought of something, "Why are you here? How about on your side?"
