255 Burnt Orange Concep

This was the first time that he woke up later than her.

The garden was close to his room and with the open window he can hear her voice and her light laughter, he walked towards it and saw her with Xander and Timothy speaking with James.

A smile appeared on his lips seeing this view.

For the first time, her family is surrounding her.

He changed before coming down where his grandfather and father called for him.

"We have heard what you did in the training area," Kyle said in a serious tone.

Ashton understood what Kyle was asking.

"Just as you have heard father, I had Cedric display the body of the traitor in the training area. His separated body parts," Ashton spoke and coldness enveloped him.

"Ash," Kyle couldn't help but feel scared that Ashton might end up being a cold blooded person.

Ashton looked at him, "Don't worry father, I know where I should place this blood thirst. The moment I have decided to enter the underworld, this is already inevitable."

"Is this your final decision?" Gideon asked with a sigh.

When Kyle was born the Empire was still prospering just fine and there were no major events that could cause him harm, he met Liana in a natural way and fell in love.

They had a son and a daughter and the family was happy.

Even during his time was the same, of course there are conflicts but it was not as big as this.

Maybe because there times were peaceful that all bad thing accumulated and was thrown at Ashton.

Ashton looked outside the window where Amber and the others could be seen.

"Are you fine with my decision?"

Both Gideon and Kyle were stunned as they look at him.

Every single time, when he makes decision it was always one sided that he never asked them if what he should do is right or not.

They looked outside where he was looking and saw the Scott family having a great time.

"Well our time have passed, it is now your time. Your decision and what you want, we shall respect it," Gideon smiled and said.

Ashton looked back at him and bowed his head, "Please rest assured, I won't let the Empire fall. I have done so many stupid things in the past but now I will make sure that it shall prosper even more than the past."

Gideon and Kyle could see that after what happened yesterday made the last change deep within Ashton. And they could see that because of Amber, this change won't be a negative one.

"Very well, we shall leave everything in your hands now then," Kyle said as he placed a hand on Ashton's shoulder.

Ashley who had been listening outside had a complicated look on her face as she walk away from the place.

"About that..."

After a leisure family with her current family, Amber was suddenly pulled by the four ladies outside and was brought to a boutique.

"What is this about?" she asked.

"Well, everything has been prepared, it is time to see if it fits," Alissa said as she pushed her inside.

Of course Amber knew what this means, they were in a wedding boutique after all.

"I mean, we haven't talked anything about this, what is going on?" she couldn't help but ask.

"Well while you are busy with your own matters, Ashton was not only preparing for his proposal but the wedding as well. Seriously just who is the bride between the two of you?" Ashley answered with a teasing tone.

"Anyway get in and try it, we want to see if we need more changes," Liana pushed her inside the fitting room.

She never saw the gown and this would be the first time.

Her hands went up to her mouth as she covered it in shock.

The dress was a tube balloon gown, not the type with a petticoat but it is because of the layers of fabric on the dress itself.

Half part of the tube was studded with small diamond gems giving it an elegant aura. The waist was has a silk fabric looking like a wide belt.

The bottom half reaches her toes.

It may seem like a normal one but the color was what made it something unbelievable to her.

It was in the burnt orange concept and the different types of fabric of the bottom half made it looked like it was on fire. Yes just like what Amber meant, just like the color of her eyes.

"Are you ready?" she heard them calling from the outside.

This brought her back to reality as she replied, "N- Not yet."

Actually, no one has seen the dress except for Ashton and Jake France, who designed it.

Even the four ladies outside were anticipating the gown.

Amber put it on and she felt like she was in cloud nine. She can tell, this was not plainly designed by Jake France. Instead she knew Ashton had some input in it.

The ring she designed and created with her own hands couldn't compare to all of these.

To all the preparations that Ashton had been doing for their wedding.

She stared blankly at her reflection in the mirror and couldn't help but be amazed, the color suited her very well.

"Amber?" they called from the outside.

"I'm ready," she replied after taking a deep breath.

When the curtain was opened, four of them couldn't help but gasp. Even the shop assistants were looking at her in astonishment.

Her fair white skin was emphasized by the color of the gown. Her eyes were shinning and had complimented the gown very well. The silver studded upper part was in compliment with her current mask that was in silver color as well.

Her waist length hair was flowing in front of her and no one would ever complain if one were to say that she was like a goddess.

"How do I look?" somehow her narcissistic side shrank away after seeing their shock reactions.

"My son sure is a lucky one," Liana couldn't help but say as she approach Amber.

Upon arriving right in front of her, "I'm sure your parents would say the same thing, you are very pretty right now."

Amber smiled and once again looked back at her reflection.

Both of them had not been following the conventional of weddings.

The white diamond engagement ring, the white wedding dress, the simple wedding rings.

Everything about them were unique and out of normal.

Despite that, she felt like she was the luckiest person out there to receive such wonderful gift.

"I think I m the lucky one as well," she said looking back at Liana.

"I got to have such a wonderful husband to be and such a wonderful family-in-law," she continued with a smile.

Liana felt emotional, this day has finally come. Amber was not her daughter but she had witnessed a few years of her life.

She had seen her while she was within a happy family and she had seen when she was all alone fighting against all the storms.

And she had seen how she and Ashton worked together to fight all these storms.

"Your mother would surely be crying by now looking at how beautiful you have grown," Liana said as she caressed Amber's face.

"I know she will be, she is a cry baby after all," Amber said with a laugh.

Liana smiled again, "Allow me to say this then, this is part of the gift he had given you. The ring and the gown was Ashton's gift to you for your birthday."

Amber furrowed her brows before she slowly asked, "Are you saying that the wedding..."

Alissa and Samantha smiled, "Yes, the wedding itself shall be our gift to you Amber. Everyone took part and decided that this is the only gift we could gift the upcoming queen of the world."

Amber blinked, no wonder none of them have given her anything on her birthday. All of them were already coerced by Ashton into preparing a wedding for her.

She didn't expect anything for she was used in not receiving gifts during her birthday but since they celebrated she had this a little desire of receiving some gifts from them.

She actually waited until the end of the day but there was nothing so if she say that she was not disappointed then she would be lying, a part of her was disappointed.

Yet here they are, they have prepared such a massive gift altogether and all of it was kept from her in such a manner that she was truly surprised.

Then a question popped up in her mind, "Then… When is the wedding?"
