Rui Fei's sinister aura spilt over with a grey cloud hanging above his head. The tension in the air was exponentially rising and the main focus of the violent storm had no idea what sin he had committed.
It was then Ai finally opened her eyes to a new reality. The way these two were behaving was obvious. This wasn't bromance but a deliberate scatter of dog food and the sad part was that she was blinded so much so that she offended Ji Yao.
It's just that she never thought he could.... you know... date a guy. She honestly thought this cold prince could only end up with the green-haired girl because it was obvious she had a thing for him. With a personality like Ji Yao's, it's better to take what's offered otherwise he would end up alone. Who would have thought Ji Yao would actually find someone he was also interested in?
Ji Yao lost his patience with Rui Fei. Since he wouldn't come along then he would just leave without him and that is exactly what he did. With his sheathe sword in hand he walked out followed by Xiaoyu who for the first was able to read the situation.
Now that she had her suspicions she wouldn't mind throwing Rui Fei under the bus. She would do anything to help her score browny points.
As soon as Ji Yao walked out of that door Rui Fei felt like something was missing. He finally snapped out of his trance and stood up still glaring at Tuzi as though looking at a dead man. Not knowing the full details that led to that wall slam he approached his prey in slow steady footsteps.
Each step he took weighed heavy on Tuzi's heart as he trembled in fright. He had no idea what he had done to offend this great buddha but he dared not ask. Rui Fei stopped right in front of him leaned down and whispered, "If you treasure your life.... then stay the fuck away from him," before walking out of the door to find Ji Yao.
Tuzi, "..."
Who is him and why would he hang around a him that hangs around this terrifying monster? He was a peace-loving creature that didn't have a conflict with anyone three hundred and fifty-five days of the year so why would he purposefully look for trouble.
"Ah..... so handsome," said Ai before slumping her head on the table, "Why did he have to be taken? I am pretty too... heck, I am even prettier than Ji Yao, wuwuwuwu I am so unlucky."
"You are about to become even more unlucky. He didn't pay the bill," replied Tuzi struggling to calm his nerves shaken by Rui Fei.
"Shit that brat," she bellowed before running out of the room. Unfortunately for her, the waiter would not let her go until she pays up. She tried to explain that the person who should be paying just walked out. If they let her go she could catch up with him and get the money but the man was so unreasonable.
She even suggested leaving Tuzi as collateral but it was pointless. They wouldn't agree. Angry she resorted to underhanded means. "You are such a prick.... no wonder your wife is cheating on you with your older cousin," she said while taking out her winnings from her bosom.
Waiter, "..."
"Madam there is no need for all that nastiness. Why lie about my wife just because you got swindled by your companion? Now please leave.....," replied the waiter obviously not believing her words.
Ai was so pissed off that she turned to leave only to stop a few feet before the door. She swiftly turned around facing the waiter whose smile sank when he saw her turning around.
"You know what..... I paid for it and won't leave till I eat it all," she said before walking back in dragging Tuzi along. The food was too much for two people to finish but she didn't plan on giving the smug-faced waiter wearing a green hat the satisfaction. She will eat herself to death if she has to.
While Ai was eating like a pig in the luxurious private room, Rui Fei was trying to catch up with Ji Yao. It didn't take long for him to find his sweetheart. The guy was walking pretty fast seeming extremely pissed off but Rui Fei didn't consider his own safety at this point.
He pulled on Ji Yao's wrist and dragged him away leaving behind a confused Xiaoyu who didn't see how or when Ji Yao disappeared. One blink was all it took for the man to vanish into thin air.
Ji Yao on the other hand wasn't handling being jealous very well. He could handle pain, humiliation and grieve but this explosive level of jealousy was a whole new territory for him. He was like a volcano erupting after millions of years which meant it would be nth times more powerful than a regular eruption.
In a secluded corner, Rui Fei trapped him in the most perfect wall slam better than in romance movies. Leering at him with an obsessive gaze he said, "Do you like him?"

That is what a system would say after hearing Rui Fei's question. Ji Yao was even more confused than the readers staring at him with a puzzled look. Rui Fei was already high on an overdose of vinegar that he failed to notice the confusion on Ji Yao's face.
"Is he your type? Is it because he is older than me?... Why aren't you saying anything?" As he said this he leaned forward till their noses were almost brushing against each other.
The storm brewing inside Ji Yao suddenly simmered down with his gaze glancing over Rui Fei's lips unconsciously. The rage and sour feeling were gradually replaced by the desire to kiss him and mark his territory.
Clenching his fist till his nails dug into his skin to keep his mind lucid and prevent himself from making an impulsive move like in his dream he replied, "I don't even know who you are talking about."
Rui Fei's other hand hovered above Ji Yao's waist as though hesitating to touch him there. "You know I like you and I am willing to wait but.... I don't want you doing this with anyone else. You can wall slam me as many times as you want but no one else."
That's when it hit Ji Yao. He didn't think anything of it when he was intimidating Tuzi but it seems Rui Fei found out about it somehow. But who was this person that was faster than TMZ in getting celebrity news? That person was busy in a tea room getting a first-hand recount from Huishe Yue about the scandalous affair between him and Lan Wu.
"Yao-ge, I am really jealous," he continued as he placed his hand on Ji Yao's waist while resting his head on Ji Yao's shoulder.
