"Can the boy still be saved?" asked Ji Yao clutching the hilt of his sword tightly as he stared at the boy with bloodshot eyes.
"Ha..... you ask..... because..... you want to.... know if... you... strike me will ..... the child... die or .... be hurt," spoke the boy staring at him with a taunting smile.
"You half ..... breeds... are as
..... arrogant... as those... Nocru... bastards. You..... think..... yourselves gods," he said as he took subtle strides to his left.
Ji Yao had no idea how this conversation changed from the boy to the Nocru being bastards. "What does that have to do with me?" he said watching him vigilantly.
"Humans..... feared me... they worshipped..... me. I had... human... offerings..... to keep me... satiated until..... they came..... here. How then... can I... not hold a.... grudge," said the creature taking another step.
That was indeed true even Ji Yao couldn't recognize this beast despite having read almost every historical literature on the continent. It was as though this thing was erased in history.
The Aoyin beasts were one of the legendary mythical creatures worshipped like gods on earth. Fearing this formidable god would descend down the mountain and slaughter them, they would have festivals each season. They were labelled festivals but it was more like human sacrifices with livestock as a side dish.
The best candidate for sacrifices were slaves so they would be caged and sent to the edge of the mountains to appease these gods. The problem arose when Nocru came into the picture and began to copulate with humans creating strong beings. That left the Aoyin beasts to die down. This one somehow survived and got hold of a keystone. It settled in a new mountain and the cycle of disappearances began.
The creatures of the mountain were mutated using the energy of the keystone creating abominable beasts that delivered the meals to it. The only restriction was the radius the Aoyin creature could operate but Ji Yao's interference fixed that for it.
"Now that..... you know about... it..... are you..... going to..... be a little..... bitch and run," it said as the boy's skin slowly turned darker with inky veins spreading all over his body.
Ji Yao clenched his jaw as the sword in his hand slowly transformed into a whip with a blazing flame. In a swift motion, he cracked his whip intending to slash this creature but instead of retaliating, the boy knelt down trembling and whimpered. "Please, don't kill me," said the boy causing Ji Yao to divert his flaming whip sword.
The sudden jerk motion caused it to strike the walls of the debilitated house and it came crashing down. A cloud of dust rose from the ground as the wooden planks came tumbling down. Ji Yao breathed heavily as he stared wide-eyed at the spot the boy should have been when everything came crashing down.
His chest heaving deeply he clutched the hilt tightly till his knuckles turned white with red-rimmed eyes. Soon there was movement within the rubble. Thinking the boy had survived he readied himself to attack when suddenly from above him a sharp sound pierced the air followed by something crashing to the ground.
When Ji Yao looked up he found Rui Fei flying over him before landing on the ground in front of the boy's body. It seemed the boy was never in the rubble in the first place and he had intended to sneak attack, Ji Yao. Unfortunately for the boy, Ji Yao had back up.
Rui Fei shot out his seraphic energy shaped like spikes and didn't hesitate to strike the boy landing the accurate hits. Rui Fei immediately made a hand gesture and attacked the lifeless body on the ground but the boy shot up to the sky with a suppressive aura surrounding his him.
His fierce eyes were crimson and his entire body had turned inky black making him partially blend in with the almost dark sky. A black mist blended with a faint red light surrounded him as he grin maliciously at Rui Fei.
"You.... think you...can kill me. Think..... again," it said before making a series of movements uprooting trees and the damaged buildings up in the air.
The raucous occurring in the village reached the pair in the forest. One was still eating a juicy peach for the nth time while the other was approaching climax for also the nth time when a loud crashing sound disrupted her.
She was seconds from reaching the peak of the mountain when an explosive sound made her open her eyes abruptly. When she saw the pairs of eyes approaching them she froze attracting the attention of the man between her legs.
When she stopped moving Zhang Li asked, "What happened? Not good?" but from beneath the skirt it sounded like nonsensical mumbles.
Since she didn't respond Zhang Li stuck out his tongue and licked her juicy peach on the right spot making her twitch.
"AH..... fuck!" she swore but Zhang Li completely missed the anger in that swear. He assumed she was so into it and decided to continue but before he could tease her again the skirt was pulled up and she angrily said, "Look!"
Zhang Li tilted his head backwards and his eyes widened as he saw the frozen pair of red eyes in the bushes. Having been spotted the creatures had also stopped moving and now the two sides were stuck in a stalemate.
"Shit!" swore Zhang Li with his lips layered with a glossy finish from... haha never mind.
"On the count of three I will get up and we will fight back to back," she said the lust and desire wiped away from her face in an instant.
"Hah, you....," he said before swallowing the words back. He was astonished by the speed at which she changed her face quickly. It was as though nothing happened between them just now.
Lady Ching Sei who had been interrupted just before she climaxed was not in a good mood. She angrily said, "Fuck this up and you will never get to fuck me ever."
Well, that had this boy scout motivated. His expression turned serious and when she counted to three he swiftly got up carrying her on his shoulders and tossed her in the air as soon as he got on his feet.
Lady Ching Sei spun in the air as she pulled up her bottoms. Her ribbons unwound like vines entwining with the streams of air shot out from Zhang Li's fists. Thin tornado-like streams of explosive air with ribbons dancing around them struck at the bushes like a missile causing an explosion that had dust and trees flying everywhere.
Two creatures leapt out of the bushes narrowly escaping the attack as Lady Ching Sei landed on the ground retracting her ribbons.. "Let's do some hunting," said Lady Ching Sei making Zhang Li smile as he summoned the wind.
