Llyne Kingdom;
In the dungeon of the frozen castle, Evie (SnowDew) and Hyori are fighting against the final boss of the dungeon, the Ice Dragon.
Glacier
Species: Ice Dragon
Grade: Legendary
Level: 190
HP: 340million/620 million
"Feathered light step," Hyori spoke slowly as she dodged the Ice breath.
With her speed twice as fast, Hyori stride towards the left and shot double arrows towards the Ice dragon while Evie, on other hand, changed her weapon to a missile launcher before shooting at the mage behind the dragon.
Looking at the incoming arrows, Glacier spun around and hit them with its tail, nullifying the attack.
But just when the arrows were broken into two and disappear, three energy arrows that were glowing in purple, hit its belly.
"984254"
"Damn… this defense…" Hyori started taking heavy breaths because of stamina consumption.
Gulping a stamina potion that increased her 13 points to maximum again to remove the fatigue, she sighed, "It was so easy when doing a dungeon with Wil…"
Taking a look at its health, she shouted, "SnowDew, quickly finish the mage. Almost half of its HP is gone. According to the guild leader, the dragon will lose its attack and gain in defense during 50%-30%."
"I know. You mentioned that earlier. Try to hold on for a few minutes. All I need is one good shot."
"Missile Barrage" shouted Evie as she kneeled on one leg while grabbing the trigger of a vertically mounted missile launcher.
As the barrage of missiles was shot continuously from the launcher, one after one another every second, the Mage applied a buff on himself to increase his speed further to dodge every missile that was raining down upon him.
"This guy is very tricky to kill. Most of my attacks are getting missed…" Evie's face turned dark as she complained and then, tightly grabbed the trigger with a determined expression, glancing at her remaining mana points.
"Looks like I have no choice…"
"Atomic bomb"
As she pulled the trigger down, five bars that were on the missile launcher, started to get charged while her mana decreased at a rapid rate.
Even after pulling the trigger, Evie didn't release her hand until her mana points become zero, and she locked the region that contains both the mage as well as the dragon.
*Ding. You received a quest.
"Huh?" She suddenly stopped her action as soon as a mandatory quest was received from the system.
Quest: Protect your home.
Description: The kingdom is being invaded by the kingdom of Zuweth. Kill the soldiers of Zuweth.
Reward: 10 War points per soldier; 100 War points per squad captain; 1000 War points per general, 10000 War points for Prince, 100000 War points for Archangel Nebula.
"Eh?" Hyori suddenly stopped for a second, in surprise. "Invasion?"
"SnowDew…" shouted Hyori.
"Yes. I know. We can do this dungeon again. A rare event like this is precious," replied Evie in a serious tone before Hyori about to speak further.
Upon hearing her, Hyori nodded, "I'll inform the guild leader."
"He's offline, and so is ShadowBlade. Ask the leader of Silvershapers, instead. Mountainrock will inform them."
Dodging the ice breath again, Hyori shook her head with a smile, "I can just call him directly, you know."
"It's not fair…" mumbled Evie with a pout before widening her eyes, and let out a scream, "Look out…"
The Ice dragon suddenly let out an ice beam while spinning around, intending to freeze everything in the room.
"Well, here goes nothing…" Evie's fingers on the trigger were released just before the ice beam hit her.
*Ding. You died. You lose 7,411,200 Exp.
*Ding. Your level dropped to 192.
Meanwhile, Hyori, who dodged the ice beam, saw a spherical ball was fired by the missile and hit the area between the dragon and the mage before an enormous explosion occurred, blinding her eyes for a few seconds, and filling the room with vapor.
Before Hyori even recovered her sight, a notification was sent to her.
*Ding. Glacier's HP is fallen to 10%. It goes into a berserk state. All of its attacks increased by 100%.
Followed by the notification, an Ice beam suddenly hit her, thereby making her resurrecting at the starting point where she found Evie was just sitting.
"I guess, it didn't die, huh?" said Evie feeling disappointed.
Hyori nodded in response, "yeah. But, it did take out 40% of its HP though. That itself is amazing."
As Evie blushed at direct praise, another notification was sent by the system.
*Ding. A rebellion has occurred in the kingdom. Please choose a side between the rebels and the King.
Both of them looked at each other in silence before Evie opened her mouth, "call big brother, right now."

Ecrin City;
At a café, Wil, Sierra, and Mrs. Couvreur take a seat together after registration is completed, leaving Bran at the car for some reason unknown to Wil, who kept glancing at Sierra, each second from the corner of his eyes while thinking whether he should ask how she knows his identity as he never mentioned his name while she doesn't have a powerful backer to find about his background.
In the end, he kept silent as Mrs. Couvreur asked, "by the way, can I ask, what do you do for a living, Mr. Ravens?"
Looking at his calm silence, she further said, "Don't get me wrong. I'm just curious about how you were able to pay 15 million dollars, just like that without any negotiations."
Wil, who knows her personality, didn't get offended by her words, and replied calmly, taking a sip, "I can understand, a lot of money always bring suspicions.
Let's just say I have lots of money to spend. As for what I do, our company majorly focuses on IT, consulting, and Business Processing. I can't speak about it other than this much… All I can say is that the source of our money is completely legal…"
Remembering the scene of military police, who checked the car and them for weapons, as well as warning them not to spill about their security checks, Mrs. Couvreur thought he was from a high background that needed to be kept secret.
"Ah! It's fine. I was just curious, that's it." Mrs. Couvreur quickly replied to make sure not to get misunderstood.
Without any other topic to discuss, the atmosphere went silent.
As Wil continued to be silent, enjoying his coffee, Mrs. Couvreur suddenly discovered he was glancing at her daughter from to time, and a smile appeared on her face as she thought of an idea to separate Bran from Sierra.
"Sierra, call your friend, here."
As Sierra quickly sprung from her seat and scurried towards the exit in excitement, Wil fell into thoughts with a hint of disappointment, looking at Sierra's expression, before he glanced at her mother, "What is this woman playing, right now? It was clear that she didn't like Bran. Or did I mistaken?"
*Ring*Ring*
Suddenly, his mobile phone rang, interrupting his thoughts…
"What's up?"
"Hey, Wil. Sorry to disturb you but you need to log in to the game, soon as you can. Llyne is being invaded by the neighboring kingdom of Zuweth. At the same time, a rebellion occurred," answered Hyori from the other side.
"A rebellion?" A deep frown appeared on Wil, making Mrs. Couvreur curious about what is he talking about before she started thinking of various theories in her mind, regarding rebellion. "Okay, I'll be there, soon."
"He said he owned an IT company, right? Did some shareholder became the majority shareholder and toppled the company? Hmm, Nah... He clearly said it's a rebellion. So, it might be soldiers. Didn't that captain said that they were doing their duty under the orders of some general?
As I initially thought, this kid might have a military background. Maybe, I should ask a favor to keep that brat away from my daughter instead of letting its course. No, if I do that, he might think, I'll support him if he chases after Sierra. Without knowing his background, it's a risk..."
Meanwhile, after he disconnected the call, Hyori, who have more to say, left him a message.
Hyori: One more thing. We were asked to choose between the king and the rebel. Evie said since you are a prince, we should side with the rebels in this event. She mentioned it's a chance for you to become the King.
"These fools…" Reading the message, Wil, suddenly stood up from the seat, "Mrs. Couvreur, I'm afraid I have to leave."
