*Ahem* Kiyumi cleared her throat and explained, "He was talking about the game.
Mr. Ravens employed DH Architectures to build his shopping districts located in a couple of cities. I think the Ravens' district is also done, recently…"
"Oh!" The sisters and the uncle were amazed upon hearing it because they know how rare is to even own a plot of land, much less so many shopping districts.
They wondered whether Wil is already a Marquis.
Meanwhile, Adam was also surprised to hear this pretty boy employed the largest Architecture firm in the world to build some building inside a game? It would cost at least a million dollars for that… Just how much of a squanderer was this guy…
"Your information network is quite big, Kiyumi-san," Wil commented with a smile. "I didn't expect you even figured out the background of the architects who built his shopping districts. After all, the barriers aren't opened yet. I'm impressed."
If he didn't know that Galaxy Net is behind her, he would have thought she's a stalker.
"Of course, my eldest always does her job well. She's not only pretty but she's also intelligent and hardworking," Reisa praised the daughter who never disappoints her.
Kiyumi returned a smile in response.
Meanwhile, Akiko folds her hands to her chest with a frown on her face, looking at the two of them.
She felt unsettled for a second before calming down. Is it jealousy? Or it because she was being ignored? Not even the girl knows what is she feeling right now.
As for Konami, she went silent, feeling humiliated for a second. 'It's not your hard-earned money you are squandering. What's so proud in that.'
Konami's impression of Wil became negative at that instant.
Silver, who was watching the conversations silently, analyzed the situation, 'this second eldest and the youngest doesn't seem to like the young master.
That fourth-youngest isn't in a mood to care about the situation.
Young Miss's expression also doesn't look good. Oh! Perhaps, she has an inferiority complex against her sister?
As for this man…'
Silver glanced at Shihei and thought, 'too hard to read… I wonder what's going on in his mind.'
Half an hour later, General Daniel Cooper arrived.
As soon as she saw her father, Wakano was the first one to rush forward and hug him. "Dad, you are here…" "Hey, sweetheart…"
He then greeted his eldest with a light hug.
Since he wasn't as close to other daughters as Kiyumi and Wakano, he simply said hello to them. They also greeted with a bow, treating him like a guest instead of family. It was clear that they don't like their dad.
As for Shihei, he didn't even bother to say hello to Daniel. He treated him as if he doesn't exist.
Meanwhile, Reisa forced herself to smile, "thank you for making up time."
In response to her words, Daniel turned his attention to Wil and said as he put forth his hand for a handshake, "well, I can do this much to see my daughters and of course, my son-in-law."
"Mr. Ravens…"
Wil shook his hand, "Mr. Cooper…"
After shaking hands with Wil and Silver, his eyes finally landed on the blonde-haired guy in the room whose arms were locked by his second eldest daughter.
"Hmm, who are you?" Daniel asked him with a frown.
"He's my boyfriend, dad. I invited him to introduce to you." As Konami answered, he introduced himself.
"He works as the Architect at Konami's company." Reisa once again chipped in.
Wil frowned at her behavior.
The first time, when she did that, he didn't get it but now, he understood what's going on and why Konami outbursts earlier. 'Does she need to insult him in a roundabout way?'
Wil wondered whether he should help him out in secret when they were engaged.
"Ah! I see... Nice to meet you." Daniel's tone was also flat, earning a smile from Reisa.
She knew that Daniel won't be against Konami for dating someone but introducing him to her parents is the same as asking their permission of acknowledgment.
If they acknowledge her partner, that means, they aren't against the marriage too. That's why Daniel decided to ignore him altogether.
Konami was disappointed a bit.
Adam was still maintaining the smile on his face. It was also within his expectations. After all, dads rarely like their daughters' boyfriends.
"What about Richard?" Daniel then asked Kiyumi.
Kiyumi quickly gave the excuse she prepared beforehand to him but the latter didn't buy it. "It's in the evening, right? Then, call him and tell him to be here, right now. Tell that either he will meet his father-in-law here before I leave or he will be forced to meet me at Pregas city…"
"Hmpf… This man hasn't changed a bit…" Reisa mumbled to herself, looking at her ex-husband.
Shihei and Rini who were standing beside Reisa heard her mumble and they nodded as if they are having the same opinion.
Taking his seat in between Akiko and Wakano, he asked, "So, Mr. Ravens, how's your mother?"
'Mother?' Except for Kiyumi, the other four sisters are taken aback since it is pretty much known to the world that the Scarlet group was built as a memento of Wil's mom.
"Yeah, she's doing alright." Wil forced out a smile as he replied.
"Too bad she wasn't able to visit. When I have some time, I will make a visit."
"It's alright… You don't need to trouble yourself." Wil was feeling extremely uncomfortable at the moment but since he owed him for the help, Wil tried to talk him out as politely as he can.
"C'mon. Even for formality, I ought to meet our in-laws, right? Or else, it would be too rude on my side…"
Just as Silver was about to make a remark, Wil nodded, "fine."
Right then, the Steward of the mansion arrived at the scene and informed them that the dishes are arranged on the table.
Everyone left for the dining room and took their seats.
They purposely made Wil and Akiko sat next to each other. He didn't reject it either. Meanwhile, Daniel sat between Rini and Wakano.
As for the brother and sister pair, they sat at the end of the table with Kiyumi.
Looking at Daniel asking Rini's college life and Wakano's high school life, Reisa spoke to her brother, slowly, "Look at him. Trying to be a dad, all of a sudden."
Meanwhile, Akiko and Wil are eating in silence, not knowing what to talk about.
Last time, they were clicked because of some question paper. They didn't talk about personal lives much.
Since Wil isn't talking, Akiko picked up her courage and said slowly, "about the update…"
"Mr. Ravens, what do you think of the new update?" Kiyumi suddenly asked Wil to make him speak something. After all, he's the main star here.
"Vampires can see at night. There's an advantage to those players to level up." Wil made the comment in an instant.
Akiko fell silent as her words drowned because of her eldest sister.
"Yeah, but I think Elves got the most of out this update. The passive buff increased from 10 to 30%. Angels also got a great buff. Now, you can even fly without thinking about mana."
Wil's face darkened upon hearing her comment. He growled as he hit the plate with the fork that was picking up a piece of the beef, "It's not a buff but a f**k**g debuff for me."
Akiko was stunned as she stared at him.
Feeling the anger in his tone, suddenly, silence engulfed the room. Even Daniel and the other two daughters stopped their conversation and looked at Wil.
