Chapter 204: Alliance with Galaxy Net

Realizing his mistake, Wil immediately calmed down and apologized for cursing out loud, "I'm sorry for the outburst…"

His right hand grabbed the glass of water and he drank it…

"Ah! That's…" Akiko widened her eyes as she raised her hand to stop his actions but failed as she was a second late once again, "my glass…"

"Hmm?" Wil looked at her.

"Young Master, your glass in on the left." Silver whispered into his ear.

Only then, he remembered where he put the glass previously.

"Ah! I'm sorry." He immediately put the glass on the table.

"Was that an indirect kiss?" Rini who sat beside Akiko once again whispered in her ear. Despite how she looks, she's also someone who loves to tease…

Akiko glanced at Wil's lips and blushed at the moment and silently gobbled the food into her mouth to hide her embarrassment.

Wil was also embarrassed at the moment but he was good at hiding his feelings. He diverted the situation by revealing, "I was the first one to max the flying skill. So, I received a title that enables me to fly without spending mana…

Kiyumi replied while thinking it wasn't a big deal to upset over that little thing, "Summersoft will normally compensate with something in equal terms. If they don't, you can report, I doubt they will ignore Time Traveler."

"Well, on the upside, Angel race also got a buff increase…" Shihei then supported his niece's statement, reminding him that he didn't lose anything.

Wil sighed, putting down the fork. "My race is a hybrid one. I won't receive such buff…"

"Eh? Hybrid?" Excluding Reisa, Daniel, and Adam who knew nothing about the game, everyone else was surprised. They wondered whether Wil changed the race just like how Galaxy Cry became the Progenitor of the Vampire race.

"You can say it's a fortuitous encounter. My race is called Dragon Angel. A part dragon and a part Angel."

Since he already planned to make Galaxy Net his partner, to gain their trust, Wil decides to reveal a few things in advance. Given their network, he was sure that they will find about some of his secrets sooner or later.

Of course, he would never tell about the legend class.

"Dragon Angel?" Kiyumi's eyes once again lit up, getting to know a piece of new info regarding Time Traveler. "That means, you can transform into a dragon?"

"Yeah. I have two forms. Angel form and Dragon form." Wil nodded. "Since it isn't technically a race but kind of legacy, I won't have race buffs… This update really made me lose a lot of advantages."

"But, your disadvantages will also disappear, right?" Akiko slowly commented from beside.

"Eh?" Wil looked at her in surprise since he didn't think of it.

"You can also roam the underworld without losing stats…"

"Ah! That's right…" Wil's depression completely wiped out of his face and mind, and replaced with excitement. "That's right… If I won't receive a buff, I would neither receive debuff. Thanks, Akiko-san…" Wil smiled at her.

"I didn't do much," She mumbled to herself before stuffing her mouth with the food.

But then, Shihei interrupted by making a comment. "I'm afraid it isn't that simple."

"Hmm?" Everyone turned towards him.

Shihei calmly explained, "If it isn't the race just like you claimed, then, in my opinion, you will neither lose advantages nor disadvantages.

Since they are performing 48-hour maintenance to fix everything, surely, by now, the company must have the notice of the abnormality in your character data.

If they were to fix it, I think they will make it seem like the Dragon form is a skill to fix the abnormality.

So, in the end, you will likely have Angel form on one hand like everyone else and in addition to that, you might have Dragon form where you will lose all the advantages or disadvantages of the race."

Shihei's explanation made Wil stun for a second. 'This man… Just from a couple of sentences, he even predicted the result… No wonder he's the leader of Galaxy Net.'

Finishing the lunch, Wil sat with Shihei privately. Since it was a business deal, even Reisa respected the privacy and didn't ask the details.

Meanwhile, Richard arrived at the mansion to meet Daniel after receiving a warning. Even though they have met more than once, clearly, Richard was afraid of this four-star general.

Despite wanting to participate in the deal to negotiate the terms, Kiyumi stood with her fiancée for moral support.

Back to Wil and Shihei, after listening to everything, the latter said, "it is impressive that you managed to accomplished such a feat and I'm also confident that you will develop into an invincible stronghold with the army you have from the Llyne but I can't move our HQ there…"

"Why?" Wil asked him. Clearly, the conditions are favorable to them too. He isn't even asking him to move to Ormshire but the capital city of Athledon. There, Wil might have influence but he can't control them.

Not to mention, players of all races are accepted there unlike other human kingdoms. Their safety will also be guaranteed.

"There's for a reason we chose Searvale kingdom. It wasn't a random place. I cannot say the reason, yet. I'm sorry."

Wil was enraged upon hearing his explanation. Can't say the reason? Is it that big of a secret? Here he revealed about his race and even hidden Ormshire state, and the other party still wants to keep their secrets.

Do they think they can be hidden from Wil? Even if he doesn't everything about the game, he's currently the most knowledgeable person regarding the game.

Once he becomes Seer, then, he will be even more unstoppable… 'Fine, I don't need to ally with Galaxy Net. Let's be strategic partners, instead.'

Just then, the old man made a proposal in return, "how about I give you a secondary division as a gift?"

"Secondary division?" Wil looked at him.

Shihei nodded, "I can branch out a few of our selected individuals and form an entire new guild instead of a branch. Since Akiko will take over the director position, next year, she can gain her experience by leading a team like this…

They can act as your eyes and ears everywhere."

Wil rejected his proposal on the spot with a flat tone, "it's alright. I don't need an extensive spy network. You can just set up a branch there. Akiko-san can become the guild manager there if you want her to gain experience."

Shihei narrowed his eyes as soon as he understood that Wil wants to draw a line between them, now that, he didn't receive what he came here for.

"How about this…" Shihei didn't want to upset his sister over such a thing. So, he tried to compromise on his side. "I'll let you select a few of our top Elites to accompany Akiko-chan."

At the beginning of partnerships, one has to compromise on a lot of things.

"Oh!" Wil became intrigued, "can I see their ign and details of their virtual avatar. Surely, you must have stored the data to see their competence…"

"That's right." Shihei nodded in response, "I also planned to show the very same thing."

He then took out a pen drive that he always carries with him and gave it to Wil.

He connected it to his Smartphone and opened the files. It contained over 1000 names, ranked according to their mission success rate, number of missions, and informers.

He was asked to pick up any ten and the remaining will be selected by himself.

On the top of the list is Kiyumi, who has over 3656 informers around the world and has a mission success rate of 97.5% even though she took 587 missions for the past two months.

Wil can't help but think she's impressive.

Wil scrolls down the names and looks for certain names. Rather than the ones with mission success rate or informers, he looked for those who will be very famous in the future.

And his first choice was a man with only 18 missions and 16 informers. And that too, only within the Searvale kingdom. But he has a 100% success rate.

He was ranked low because of fewer missions.

"I want this guy."

"Hmm, Frosty King?" Shihei was taken aback by Wil's first choice. "Are you aiming for a high success rate? If so, I can recommend people better than him."

"It's alright." Wil waved his hands, "I don't want to draw too much blood from HQ…"

"Okay." Shihei nodded, thinking it is even better for him.

Wil continued to pick the members one by one. After picking 9 of them, his last choice landed on a girl's name that is on rank 1023 with zero informers, and a 0% success rate.

"Eh? Rini?"
