Chapter 335: Journey to the Dragon Island part-4

Name:War Online Author:Snowstar
Never in the world did Wil expect to see his sister in real life and that too at Leafway City of all the places. Moreover, he even saw them, nearby his apartments.

Naturally, he was shocked. He remembered his mother's face.

As Rey was dragging Mia away to home, Wil tried to stop them when they just passed him. "Hello, Excuse me…"

He called out to them but they didn't turn back, thinking it wasn't them.

Wil strode a few steps and quickly grabbed Rey's arm, "Mr. Quilton, wait."

"Eh?" Rey halted his steps and turned his head. Mia did the same and looked at Wil.

"You both are Rey Quilton and Mia Quilton, aren't you?" Wil asked them even though he recognized them as he formed a plan in his mind.

"Yes, who are you?" As it's the first time for them to see Wil, Rey asked him. At the same time, he felt Wil's face appeared a bit familiar, although he wasn't able to put his finger on it.

Wil forced out a smile as he introduced himself, "I'm Williard. I was acquainted with Mrs. Quilton. But, what are you two doing here? Aren't you two supposed to be at Hailey city?".

"We moved here," Mia answered him in a cute voice, which brought a genuine smile to Wil's face. "Is that so?"

"Eh?" Wil suddenly felt something wrong. Upon realizing what his sister said, he looked at her in surprise, "Wait a second. Did you just say that you moved here? As in with the whole family?"

Mia nodded. "Yes." Meanwhile, Rey was surprised as he glanced at Mia. He saw her staring at him curiously.

He knew that Mia was shy around strangers and would take a while for her to open up. As far as he knows her, unless she likes the person, Mia would often hesitate to talk to them.

Since she's at an age where one would fall in love too quickly, Rey wondered whether she's fallen for this guy's handsome looks or something…

As a protective brother, he immediately stepped before his sister, covering her sight.

Rey then looked at Wil. Once again, he felt like he saw him somewhere. But where? He wondered.

Upon realizing the change in Rey's expression and his actions, Wil didn't continue the conversation for much longer, "Please say Hi to Mrs. Quilton. If possible, I would like to meet her. It's been a while so… Anyway, since you came to this park, I guess your family also live in the same neighborhood, we will probably meet again. See ya."

Wil didn't wait for their response and started to run towards the exit to leave the park.

Looking at his back, Rey mumbled, "It's really strange that somebody recognized us in this city. But, who is he? Where did I see him?"

Suddenly, Mia tugged his shirt, bringing him back to reality. "Ah, yes, Mia… Let's go…"

"Rey, don't you think his voice is familiar?" She dropped an unexpected question.

"Eh? Voice? Not face?" Rey was taken aback in surprise. He didn't expect Mia would find his voice familiar. "You met him somewhere?" He asked her.

Mia shook her head, "No. But I think I heard this voice in War Online. As for whom it belongs to, I'm not sure about it."

"Ah! War Online…" Rey realized that he might have also seen this stranger in that virtual world. As the game is popular among the youngsters, it is quite possible for him to play too.

Fifteen minutes later, both of them returned home. "Mom, we're back."

"Both of you are getting late," Scarlet said to them while preparing breakfast. "Go and fresh up quickly, Rey. Your dad already left for work. I left money on your desk. Don't take the bus. Take taxi. And Mia, I'll drop you at school. I received a call from your school for a parent meeting."

After they got ready, everyone sat at the dining table and eat together. While munching the toast, Mia spoke, "mom, today, at the park, we met someone."

"Someone?" Scarlet looked at her curiously.

"Right, you know someone named Willard, mom? He seems to be around my age." Rey asked her.

"Eh? Williard?" She was taken aback upon hearing his name from Rey. "How do you know him? No, I mean, you met Willard?" She asked.

Rey and Mia nodded, "Yes."

"He said he would like to meet you, someday." Rey conveyed Wil's message.

"Wil wants to see me?" Scarlet was once again surprised.

"It seems like you know him very well," Rey commented upon seeing how his mom addressing a stranger by a shot name.

Scarlet sighed in response, "It's a bit complicated to explain. Someday, I hope everything would be alright."

"Hmm?" Rey felt there's something that his mom is hiding. However, as an understanding person, he didn't pry into the matter further.

After they were done with the breakfast, Scarlet went along with Mia to her new school to meet other parents for the first time.

As for Rey, he left for Maple Academy where Silver got him admission in the final year using his connections. So, his transfer procedures were smoothly done.

Meanwhile, at the Scarlet Apartments;

Silver was sitting in the living room with Wil glaring at him while folding his hands to the chest. "Out with it, Silver. You knew that my mother moved to this city, didn't you?"

Silver stayed silent.

Wil continued, "I know that you probably wanted us to get closer but you need to understand that I have no intentions of doing that. It doesn't matter to me whether she moves into this city or even to this apartment building.

Even if I meet her a hundred thousand times, it won't change anything, neither the past nor my feelings. She will forever be a stranger to me. So, don't waste your time on this. I will tell her the same. Arrange a meeting with her.

I'm going back to the capsule. When she's free and ready to meet, call me."

*Welcome to War Online*

Wil appeared at the guest room where he logged out.

He summoned the Crimson Gourd and then freed the dragon girl. However, she turned to be sleeping soundly while munching in her sleep.

As he tried to wake her up, she suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled it towards her into her mouth, and suddenly started to bite it as if it was some food.

"-1" "-1" "-1"

"This girl…" Wil was ticked off and knocked her head with a punch. Unless he's in Dragon mode, his damage is also equal to the physical attack generated by his strength attribute, it didn't do any damage. However, it did wake up from her sleep.

"Hmm?" Rubbing her eyes, as she woke up from sleep, she immediately realized the situation and instantly backed away. "I'm sorry…"

"Forget it," Wil waved his hands as he wiped off her saliva with the robe. "Are you hungry?"

"Not really." She mumbled. Right then, her stomach rumbled.

"It's not me…" She hurriedly said it while blushing.

Looking at the little girl, Wil can't help but find her cute, and let out a smile.

Meanwhile, at one of the inhabited islands nearby, Orion was in some kind of underground ruins.

There are two dragon statues that were still intact. Both of the dragon heads twirled around each other and below them, there's a stone slab with some writings. However, his attention was completely captured by the treasure chest behind it.

Orion proceeds to open the ancient treasure chest while feeling excited.

*Creak*

As he opened it, he found a level-300 epic grade sword. "Not bad. It will fetch a good price."

After placing it into inventory, Orion looked at the stone tablet and the dragon statues. "Is this the thing that Mr. Williard Ravens and that mythic grade dragon girl are looking for? Hmm? Something's written on it."

As he found some characters on the stone tablet, he proceeds to clear the dust.

"What is this?" Orion found the sentence written on it was in some kind of unfamiliar language. He doesn't know the meaning behind it.

A couple of hours later;

Wil, Iphi, and Orion were standing in front of the stone tablet.

"This is the language of our dragons," Iphi exclaimed and then, read the words, "Our Utopia lies at the place where the Human of the north, Angels of the west, Elves of the east, drew the blood of the demons of the south."
