He looked upon the majestic little town on a massive floating rock above the clouds. What's more, it actually looked modern, with electricity and the like. How they achieved that was beyond Radley. But he wasn't about to complain. Some sort of civilization was finally in sight. There were a bunch of floating rocks connecting the massive one via vines. Must have broken off and floated away with the vines still attached and as the vines grew longer the further the rocks floated away. He could have sworn that he heard it somewhere that the larger the floating rock the higher the chance for a nest of one of the flyers.
He shrugged. He looked at the platform he was on and judged the distance he had to move in order to get to the town. The vine must have been around 400m long (About 1300 feet). Though the vines were thick he was still going to cross it with no floor in sight. Clouds covered everywhere. He was just thankful to be out of the rain. He walked to the edge of the floating rock and peered over. His acrophobia kicked in. Unlike the vines, he was forced to climb, where he could just re-grab if he fell down a bit. That was over an abyss and if he missed his catch he will most certainly die.
He peered over the edge to see if he couldn't find any loose hanging vines. He was in luck, while it wasn't particularly long or think it should suffice as a safety harness. He tied it around his body while tying it down on the massive vines connecting the floater to the massive floating rock. He gave the vines a small loop. He wasn't too sure how well it would hold, but he was tired of the desperate survival. He needed civilization and fast, Even if he has no money to rest, he will be in a safer area than the wilds. He put one foot on the vines and tried to see if he could hold his balance. It seemed well enough but the vines where braided and made for unsure footing. He decided to sit and try to shuffle across. The wind made the trip really precarious and difficult not to mention the chafing caused by the vines. It took him almost an hour to cross the vines but right, in the end, a powerful gust swayed the vines making Radley lose his balance. He fell over the edge and was barely able to grab on with one hand. He used every ounce of his strength to pull himself up. His heart sank, that was too close. He shuffled the last bit and finally touched ground onto the massive floating rock. A new popup appeared: Congratulations Quest condition fulfilled: 1000 Invo points with 25 Diff points.
Whoa, what a reward?!
He immediately scanned what he could get, but it was still short for what he really wants. The upgrade for his instant reaction. So he let it be. He made his way towards the town. He scanned the people in and around him. Levels ranging from level five to level eighteen. Every now and then they would give a look. He considered it for a moment, it was probably due to the clothing he was wearing. It wasn't particularly well treated, after all, it looked more like a hodgepodge mess than anything else. He smiled as soon as he placed his feet on the tar roads of the small town. He just kept getting looks. He approached one of the people that had a Calm nature, "Excuse, me sir? Could you tell me where is a place where I can buy new gear?"
The man's face turned into one of disgust, "You seriously need a shower. You aren't smelling too fresh."
"Ah yes, my apologies. I just came from the jungle and was stuck there for a few days."
"Right, well follow this road and turn left. You will find the craftsmen there."
Radley nodded politely and left. He walked down the road and turned left as the man said. He came across something that looked like a collection of stalls. A market place in the modern era? Odd.
He looked around to see if he couldn't find anything that looked like leather works. He finally came across what he was looking for. A young girl probably about aged seventeen was motivating people to buy her wares. Radley looked at her level. Lv 7, Marlene, loyal by nature. Radley found her nature to be a bit odd. He shrugged and walked towards her. Her face turned from a smile to one of disgust. Radley immediately picked it up, "Yeah, yeah I need to take a shower. Look I just need to find out how to properly treat my gear."
She raised an eyebrow, "Is that self made?"
"I had limited resources. I only had what was in the field, so I apologize if this is a disgusting sight."
She chuckled, "No it just means you are resourceful. So what happened?"
"Long story short, a lot of bad luck."
"So you want to treat your gear?"
"Yeah."
"You need a tanning solution. We have some here if you are interested. It will be fifty dollars."

Of course, it is. He needed some money, "tell me is there anybody here who would buy ore?"
"Depends on the ore. Go to the old man over there. I take it you are short."
Radley scratched his head bashfully, "Yeah. I will be back I promise."
She nodded.
He made his way to the old man. Radley scanned him. Lv 18, Garfelt wise nature.
"What can I do for you, son?" Radley could see that the man wasn't too impressed with the smell
"Would you buy ore from me."
"What are we talking about?"
"Neodizamate."
The old man raised an eyebrow, "How big are we talking about?"
He wasn't going to part with his axe, but he did have his hammer. He removed the head and gave it to the Garfelt. Garfelt examined the rock, "I gotta say I am impressed. Rarely do you see something this size naturally occurring? They are incredibly hard to find due to how they look. People miss it for an ordinary rock most of the time. You need to break it open to see the blue hue it gives off and even then its small pieces. Sure I am more than willing to buy. How does seven hundred and fifty sound?"
Radley smiled, "I need the money. You have a deal."
Erina was walking in the markets when her eyes fell on Radley, "Holy shit, the little bastard made it!? With more clothing no less?! What the hell?!"
