The bull jumped up high and for a second there, Huang Zhen almost lost his grip around the bull, however, he was still safe as the bull didn't succeed in getting him off.

But before Huang Zhen could sigh in relief, the bull jumped up once again and this time, Huang Zhen let go of the bull by mistake and his entire body flew upwards because of the impact.

For a second there, the boy almost saw his whole life flash before his eyes, and he was almost sure that his plan was going to backfire on him at any given second now, however, it seemed that the heavens hadn't given up hope on this boy.

When Huang Zhen came back down from his short flight, he unexpectedly landed directly on the bull and he didn't let go of this chance as he grabbed on tightly to the creature's neck.

The bull was thoroughly agitated by this point and Huang Zhen was running out of stamina to hold on.

The only thing that he could think about was why this trap wasn't over yet.

In every normal trap, if the player's weight was not directly felt by the ground, the trap would close itself thinking that the player had escaped, but surprisingly enough, the system had still not closed the trap or given out a 'no player detected' warning to Huang Zhen even though the boy's weight was not directly connected to the floor.

It seemed that his trick was not always helpful and had its own limitations..

The bull jumped around and Huang Zhen started feeling dizzy.

He carefully picked out the pocket knife from his pocket with one hand while the other continued to hold on to the creature.

This was a risky move since he could never be sure if his hand would be able to hold on but it was also one that needed to be done.

Once he took out the pocket knife, he took a sharp breath in and raised both hands, holding on tightly to the handle of the pocket knife before thrusting it into the back of the creature's neck.

He was going to depend on this one move which was pretty damn risky.

The creature seemed to have gotten even angrier as it jumped up and Huang Zhen who was out of balance this time was finally successfully thrown off.

Huang Zhen gulped as he crawled a step back and watched the creature go crazy as it tried to take out the knife.

At this exact moment, Huang Zhen's eyes widened as he suddenly had another great idea.

The boy climbed up to his feet and dug into his pocket to take out the gun that he had previously pointed at Li Ling.

He stood at his place firmly and took a deep breath as he raised the gun and closed his right eye before aiming the gun at the creature's back.

To be more exact, he was hoping to aim for the pocket knife that was stuck on the back of the creature's neck.

Huang Zhen hadn't actually dealt with a real gun before this but he had played around with a lot of fake ones so his aim and skills were good, however, he still lacked a bit of practical experience.

A real gun was really different from a fake gun and Huang Zhen was about to learn this fact really thoroughly.

The boy took in a sharp breath as he closed his eyes and did a small prayer before opening his eyes and pulling the trigger.

The bullet went forward and the gun jerked back with a bit of force, almost breaking Huang Zhen's wrist.

Huang Zhen felt his heart go still for a second as he waited to see if he had hit the mark and time also seemed to have suddenly paused.

It was certainly the first time the boy was shooting a real gun but unexpectedly enough, he was quite talented at this as he hit exactly the point that he wanted.

The bullet pushed the pocket knife in and the creature's body went completely still before it started letting out a loud noise as if something inside its metal body was breaking.

Huang Zhen gulped in anticipation and in the very next minute, the bull suddenly broke down, shattering into bits.

"Yes!!" The boy exclaimed loudly as he jumped and did a little victory dance.

[Congratulations Jiangshi on clearing the trap!]

The system announced almost immediately and the walls that had suddenly come out of nowhere went back into the ground, returning the maze to its former glory.

Huang Zhen carefully turned on the safety in the gun and put it back in his pocket before crouching down to find the pocket knife that had gotten mixed up with the broken pieces of metal that were used to make the creature.

One would think that getting stuck in this trap had helped the other players and maybe someone else had overtaken the boy, but surprisingly enough, even after having wasted time in this trap, Huang Zhen was still the closest player to the center of the maze.

Zhihao had tried his best to avoid triggering any traps but at the end of the day he was still human and he eventually fell into a trap.

Zhihao was smart enough to try and use the trick of clinging onto the wall, however, his plan immediately stopped when water started to flood the place.

Zhihao cursed under his breath as he took a deep breath in and closed his eyes as he waited for the water to entirely fill up the place.

Once the water had risen up to a certain level where it could flow out of the trap, it stopped coming in and Zhihao took this moment to open his eyes as he swam deeper into the water.

This was a common trap and Zhihao already knew the trick to solve it.

He went deeper and tapped around the ground before finding a certain area that could be pushed in.

Zhihao smiled as he used all his energy to push the ground and at first, his hard work seemed to have shown no result, but this didn't make him want to stop, and instead, it made him want to try harder.

Zhihao closed his eyes and focused completely on using all his strength to push the floor and unconsciously he opened his mouth a little, letting out all the air that he was saving up.

Now that he had no air left, he was almost forced to believe that this was it.

He thought that the great Mastermo was going to lose the final level after being drowned to death.

Zhihao cursed in his mind as he decided to put his very last bit of energy into pushing the ground and thankfully enough, this time the ground moved and the water slowly started going back into the ground.

Zhihao felt his body go still as he gulped in water and started floating up to the surface of the water, however, he knew that he was going to survive this.

Within just a few minutes, the water drained down completely and Zhihao was left unconscious on the floor for a few seconds before the man started coughing out all the water that had filled his stomach.

"Damn it!" The man cursed under his breath as he felt his chest hurt after coughing out all that water.

[Congratulations Mastermo on clearing the trap!]

The system announced happily but Zhihao didn't look to be happy in the least. He looked to be relieved but not happy.

The walls went back into the ground and cleared up the path in front of him.

Zhihao sighed as he took a minute to calm himself down before pushing himself off the ground and standing up.

After taking a few calm breaths, the man continued on his way and headed for the center of the maze.

Li Ling was perhaps the luckiest person till now as the man ran recklessly through the maze and was somehow still able to avoid all the traps and triggers, almost making it seem as if the Gods were looking out for him.

Tian Xifeng sighed as she dragged her feet and continued walking forward. All the paths looked identical to each other and Tian Xifeng was already a directionless woman so it need not even be said that the woman was probably not having the time of her life.

Li Ying was perhaps the only one with a secondary phone and she considered this to be of big help to her as she used it and watched the live stream of the game. She could clearly see where each player was and she could also see what they were doing, but the girl was hardly paying attention to the players.

The reason why Li Ying stopped in her tracks and was looking attentively at the screen with great interest was because she was somehow trying to figure out the layout for the maze through it.

If she could understand the structure of this place then this game would definitely become a lot easier for her and she seemed to have clearly realised this fact.
