It took fifteen damned seconds for the pillar of blinding light that erupted from my hands to finally vanish. The only thing that I could compare it to, was a silly movie of a cartoon character of one of the simple, two-dimensional fighter games that I used to play back as the kid. The only difference was, that back in that game, the thick line of instakilling light was ending in a place that the screen could no longer project, yet in the current situation, this fallen column of blinding death didn't seem to have any limits in terms of its length!

At the very least, I could tell that either my angle of attack was incorrect, making this fire spell of mine actually break through the atmosphere and extend somewhere into the outer space of this universe, someone actually managed to stop it with some insanely powerful shield in some faraway place, or the most likely scenario, it penetrated deeply into the sea, finally dampening its power in a place that my eyes couldn't reach.

But even after that spell, just that many times more powerful than a sunflare of mine that said sunflare was stronger from a weak fireball, finally disappeared, I still had to wait over two minutes for my eyes, blinded by its light, to slowly start regaining their normal ability to see.

"Woah…"

Even though I knew that breaking through the barrier to this new realm of sage would make me powerful, but after seeing Eve fight with those weak monsters, I thought that I managed to get a good grip on my current limits. Yet when seeing the outcome of my attack with my own eyes, made me realise that just like my growth of strength defined by my rising status couldn't be defined by even a geometrical function, so did the increase caused by Bonger!

"Bart!"

As I started in an incredibly deep ravine right in front of my eyes, slowly filling by the water rushing from all sides, I heard a whisper of a voice coming from behind. Yet after turning around, I realised that rather than trying to call me out gently, Eve was screaming my name so loudly that she actually lost her balance because of that, falling on all fours!

"Eve?"

Not willing to make the same mistake, I simply said her name while pulling my eyes away from the long and wide hole that used to be one of the nicest peninsulas I have ever seen on both of my eyes. Yet to my surprise, or rather its lack, no sound reached my ears!

"Don't worry, your ears are not used to normal hearing after I had to block them to prevent you from going completely deaf."

If not for Bonger's reassuring message right as I was starting to panic, I could've very well just flip right now!

But now, that I knew that I most likely only had to wait for a moment, I could actually focus on all the system notifications that I simply cast aside a moment ago, when I was too focused on the spell to allow any distractions to come my way.

Starting with the rewards, like always, killing the monsters ended up with my experience points increasing, but maybe because of how strong those monsters were when compared to how low my actual level was, the increase actually went through the roof!

As I thought about it, there was no way that I could up myself damned fifteen levels just by killing five monsters, even if they were on the damned sage level! Thinking about this, a rather obvious answer came to my mind. If Bonger could use the lingering energy that he consumed from the defeated monsters, did a part of that energy also supplied my experience points pool?

If that were to be the case, then the sudden and mad increase in my levels wouldn't be as surprising as it would be if I only counted those sage level monsters as the source of my growth. But ignoring this entire topic as something that I could explore later on with Bonger, I focused on a long list of other rewards that the system granted to me.

"Private storage subspace."

Fuck, it really did take me reaching almost the pinnacle of the entire fucking world, to get something as simple as equipment storage? With how all the dimensional related items would instantly crumble into dust if I were to pass by my teleportation window with them, this was something of immense value to me, especially with how I was going to most likely find a place on the great continent where I could set another stable teleportation window, just like I did on this island.

"One meter long, wide and hight cube."

Only after reading more into the details of this storage, did I realise how stingy the automated part of the system was, especially when compared to the bonger. In one instant, all of my joy vanished, replaced by anger at someone who came up with such a ridiculous limiter.

Dimensional storage is a damned basic aspect of any RPG game! Don't you know this, you fucking failed creator of this system? I know you are God or whatnot, but at least do your homework before trying to change someone's life!

"BART!"

As I was immersed in my thoughts about this entire matter, I almost forgot about Eve's shouts, once again making her worried without a reason. As much as I wanted to explore all the other rewards that I received right now, and escape from this place before the water that was brutally filling the hole that remained from the peninsula after my attack before it would turn into a damned tsunami wave, I still had to make sure that she knew I was completely okay!

"Sage level reward box."

This was the last message that my eyes managed to catch as I pushed the remaining notifications to the side of my screen with just a single wave of my hand.

"I'm okay, dear."
