Meanwhile in the Kwan Mansion…
"Zion, will your sister come home today?" Sarah Zheng, Zion's mother and Zachery's wife, excitedly clasped her hands as she welcomed her son who had just arrived home.
"Yes, I heard she will come home tonight." A gentle smile formed on his lips as he nodded.
Upon hearing her son's confirmation, Sarah grinned brightly. It was evident how happy and excited she was hearing that Zoey, her daughter, was finally coming home after all these years.
Everyone knew Sarah's persistence for Zoey to live with them. She didn't have a daughter of her own and having Zoey was akin to a dream come true.
Not to mention, Zoey was a good girl. She had a likable character. Thus, it only took her awhile for Sarah to like her. Sadly, Zoey had this independent personality and she didn't want others to think that she was using the Kwan's influence to back her up in life.
How could Sarah argue with that? The reason Sarah let Zoey do what she wished and wished her success so Zoey could finally come home.
"Oh, honey! You're also home early!" Just as the mother and son duo went inside the living area, Sarah's radar for her husband rang inside her head.
She turned to the entrance of the mansion, gracefully welcoming her husband as she helped him carry his briefcase after leaving a loving kiss on his cheek.
"Are you also happy that our daughter is coming home tonight?" Sarah probed, her eyes gleamed with anticipation.
Zachery glanced at his wife's excited visage. The corner of his lips slowly curled into a smile before he nodded.
"Of course. That's why I came home as soon as possible."
"Aww… Zion is also home. I'm sure little Z will be happy that you both came home to welcome her." Moved by her husband and son's gesture, Sarah's eyes welled up as she smiled and darted her eyes from Zachery to Zion.
"I don't know how Zion convinced little Z to come home, but I'm glad that we would live under the same roof again."
As Zachery and Sarah went inside the living area, he exclaimed and stole a glance at Zion. The latter was confused, tilting his head to the side as he furrowed his brows.
Besides being happy, Zion was also surprised when Zoey told him she would come home. So, why was his father saying Zoey told him it was him who convinced Zoey to come home?
"Oh, Zion… you must've missed your sister. I'm also worried that she's been all alone building her company." Sarah perched on the sofa across Zoey while Zachery sat on the head seat.
She started serving her husband and son tea, and gestured to the servants for some snacks she made earlier. Sarah then turned to Zion bearing sparkling eyes.
"Uh, yes. I missed her and it would be better if she stays here for a while." Despite his puzzlement about why Zoey lied, Zion went along with it.
In his perspective, Zoey only lied for a reason. Whatever it was, Zion could ask her later.
'Hmp!' Unbeknownst to them, Zachery scoffed at his son's fondness towards his bastard child.
Only Zachery knew how conceited Zoey was. And now, she wanted to live with them? Just what was she thinking?
Zachery thought he had put Zoey in her place before. Did having a company which was doing well now gave Zoey the confidence to give him trouble? How foolish of her!
'If she thinks she can threaten me, I want to see her try! I will not be so reckless just like years ago!' Zachery's eyes glinted as a brief smirk resurfaced on his lips that the two failed to notice.

Hours later in the Z Image Group Building…
"Use the words I have taught you in a sentence." In the middle of the office, exactly at Angelo's post, Cora, Ivan, and Angelo were perched around the desk.
"Okay!" Cora, as an obedient student, nodded and started inking on her notebook.
She first wrote the words in Pinyin before she tried to translate them in English. Apparently, how they construct their sentence was different in English. She applied everything that Angelo taught them about how to construct English properly.
On the other hand, Ivan was frowning as he romanized his sentence since it was impossible for him to learn the complicated Chinese Characters in one day. All he could do was to make things easier for him.
After a while, both finished writing and submitted their notes to their teacher. Pleased at their diligence, Angelo first took Cora's notes and scanned her notes.
"Ahh… this should be, 'the handsome teacher is kind'. You forgot to add the linking verb here." Angelo pointed at the notes while Cora listened intently.
She was nodding while Angelo left more notes of examples she could use in the future. Meanwhile, Ivan scoffed at how Angelo focused on Cora!
Was this jealousy? Ivan was unsure. But, he never felt this dismay towards Zion before. Perhaps, it was the change of mindset as he had already set his mind and claimed Cora as his.
"Ahem!" Ivan suddenly cleared his throat, catching Angelo and Cora's attention.
"Oh, someone's jealous." Angelo humored, causing Cora to chuckle. "Try doing another one with this, okay?"
Before Angelo shifted his attention to the over possessive Ivan, Angelo left Cora a task which she understood and nodded before writing again.
"Have you been making fun of me because I can't understand you?" Ivan scorned in disdain as Angelo picked his notes.
"Try putting more effort so you'll know what I've been saying." Angelo shrugged nonchalantly, his eyes on the notes as scanned it.
Just after two seconds after laying his eyes on Ivan's notes, Angelo pinched his nose bridge. "What are you trying to say here?"
"What? Can't you understand?"
"I wouldn't ask you if I understand this nonsense romanization. It just doesn't make sense." Distressed at Ivan's hopelessness, Angelo felt like having a headache.
That moment, Angelo considered just teaching Cora for the two of them to understand each other. Angelo just didn't have the patience to teach Ivan.
"Why did you write 'I am busy?' eh?" Angelo grumbled while massaging his temples to soothe his throbbing head.
"Huh?! I didn't write that?" With a distorted expression, Ivan snatched his notes in dismay.
"That's not what I wrote." Ivan murmured.
Cora, who was writing, raised her head and darted her eyes from Angelo's distress figure to Ivan. She leaned closer and glimpsed at Ivan's notes.
Upon seeing his notes, she blushed and smiled. "Thank you."
To their surprise, both men turned their surprised look on Cora.
"You understood it?!" Angelo gasped in dismay while Ivan was rendered speechless.
"Yes. Pretty, he said." Cora smiled and explained. Although Ivan's sentence was very different from what he wrote, she noticed the other words written on the note and figured out what Ivan wanted to imply.
Angelo gasped in disbelief while Ivan's eyes sparkled.
"Dear, can you be my sensei?" Ivan suggested, his eyes sparkling with expectation while Angelo cringed in a different level.
"Huh?" Cora knitted her brows.
"Hey! That's Japanese, idiot!" Angelo berated Ivan in disdain.
