Chapter 112 - [Bonus ]Party IV

Both of them chuckled at Bella's honesty. To her, there was just this something in Devon that one would make her trust her. Devon's face and aura might repel a lot of people, but she was actually very kind and deep and had a better understanding of people.

"I actually had this plan when I met you that I will make you look bad in front of Brother Di," Bella muttered as saying it made her realized how pathetic she was. "Do you still think I am worthy to be your friend?"

"Depends if you still have that thought in mind now, but I'd say that's pathetic." Devon bluntly replied, as her retaliation would be twice as what was given to her.

"It is." Bella chuckled weakly once again. She didn't know if it was the alcohol, or just because of what kind of person Devon was, but she felt like being a hundred percent honest.

"You're really blunt and fearless," Bella added. "You make me a little insecure."

Many labeled Bella as a Queen, but she had lost to Devon even before the fight started. Devon may not be Dion's lover, or even if she turned out to be one, Bella would understand why. This had left a bitter taste in her mouth slightly.

"Why would you be insecure when you have things that I do not?" Devon tilted her head to the side as she raised her hand, tucking Bella's hair back to her ear. "Also, you are open and don't fear in admitting your wrongs. Not many people can acknowledge their mistakes and own up to it, and that is what makes you more amazingly stunning."

Bella stared at Devon as the latter smiled beautifully. For reasons unknown, Devon's smile and her kind words moved her heart, giving her inexplicable comfort.

"Are you alright? Your face suddenly turns red." Devon furrowed her brows as she placed her palm on Bella's forehead. "Hmm… I don't think you have a fever, though."

"Haha! Maybe it's just the drink." Bella awkwardly chuckled as she pursed her lips, feeling a little weird about how her heart raced. For a second, just that brief moment, her heart fluttered at Devon, making her feel a little abashed.

"Don't drink too much." Devon sighed as she withdrew her hand. "Enjoy the atmosphere."

Her attention then shifted to the other people around them and smiled. It seemed Dion was now relaxed and Mike was dying from all the drinks.

"Hey! Everyone, let's take a photo!" someone exclaimed as he raised his phone.

"Goodness. Don't you have a proper camera or something?" Mike grumbled, murmuring more words that came out as gibberish.

The person who suggested taking a photo stood at the far corner of the table with his arms extended. However, just as when he was about to snap a photo, his phone died.

"Oh shoot! Haha!" he chuckled awkwardly and faced everyone. "Low battery."

Dion sighed and rolled his eyes. "Mike, where's your phone? Let's take…" he trailed off once his eyes fell on Mike and witnessed how pathetic his friend had fallen.

"My phone… where is it?" Mike murmured as he looked around mindlessly.

"Whatever." Dion shrugged and took out his phone. "Hey people, I won't stand up, so just squeezed yourself to fit in!"

He extended his arm and turned his body around. Most of the male friends shamelessly tried to squeeze themselves onto his back, but Dion rolled his eyes.

"Man, give our muses some space!" Dion grumbled, his voice almost echoing, but they perceived it as a laughing matter.

"Dev, stay close to me," Bella whispered as she squeezed herself close to Devon, glaring at her other male friends who were trying to lean closer to Devon.

"Thank you." Devon chuckled as Bella's action helped her. Until now, she didn't like being touched aside from Lewis. She could bear with Bella, but not with other male species.

"Say cheese!" Dion exclaimed and grinned before taking a lot of photos with them, doing different poses.

"Okay!" he grinned as he checked the photos, but before he could, he raised his head. Those male friends who went closer to Devon didn't return to their sit. Although Bella managed to protect her, there were still higher chances of them getting closer to Devon.

"Aish! I really can't drop my guard, huh?" Dion clicked his tongue, pushing Mike away with his elbow as he got up. "Move, you people!"

Dion made way and shooed the other males who were preying on Devon and plopped down beside her. Devon, who was more like an observant, felt more relieved that Dion sat beside her and Bella on the other.

"Sis, do you want to see the pictures?" he suggested excitedly.

"What? We also want to see it!"

"Yes! This is unfair, let us see as well."

"Hey! If you want to see, extend your necks from there!" Dion grumbled as he ground his teeth. He rolled his eyes at them for a moment and started showing Devon their pictures.

"Your face took all the spaces of the photo." Devon pointed out with a frown, as some of them only managed to show half of their face.

"What? But my face is the highlight!"

"I hope you're alright." She shook her head, making Dion frown as he stared at her in disbelief.

"This photo is funny." Devon swiped the photo while Dion tried to recover his self-esteem. Bella chuckled as she kept looking at the photo, not even bothered by Dion being so close.

"You should smile more, Dev." Bella pointed out as Devon was only staring at the camera, but still looked beautiful, though.

The two of them kept looking at the photos and kept on giggling at some of them until Devon swiped once more and it showed her photo in the car. The stolen photo, which Dion took earlier to send to Lewis, stunned Bella and others who were also looking.

"Oh, I think that's all." Devon frowned as she swiped once again, and it was, once again, her.

When Devon raised her head to Bella, she furrowed her brows and glanced at everyone. "Uhm. Is there something wrong?"

Just as she asked that, one person in the room gasped and suddenly exclaimed. His voice was so loud as if he found out something shocking that got the attention of everyone.

"Brother Dion! Oh, no! You're trending now!" he rushed towards Dion, snapping the latter back to the current lapse. "Look! Someone published an expose about you!"

Dion furrowed his brows, as he narrowed his eyes while reading the article about why he was trending. The more he read, the more his complexion turning pale as there were photos for evidence. Everyone who was curious took out their phones to see what was going on.

"No, fucking way…" Dion gasped in horror as he faced Devon.

The article's title was like this: QIN DION IS SECRETLY MARRIED?
