Isis stared at herself in the mirror, a gold choker hung on her neck and pearls attached to the choker, drooped down her neckline towards her chest and slid off her shoulders. Her dress was now a majestic purple with gold accents and intricate designs. Was this how I looked at the whole time? Isis wondered about the woman in the mirror looking nothing like how she looked when she dressed upon the earth.
"The wedding went quite well," Seth commented behind her, "you look lovely."
Isis turned to find her brother Seth behind her. Though he was often outcast in their family because he was a demi-deity, Isis had always treated him with respect and looked up to him. He had been the model when she designed her earthling look when she descended to earth centuries before, the black hair and emerald green eyes she had was a complete copy of Seth's.
"Thank you, brother! It was a shame I missed your wedding, I am sure it was one of the best celebrations I would have had the pleasure to attend, Isis grinned.
"Oh please, spare me your compliments, you know you are the only child in this family who's birthday is seen as a lucky day," Seth laughed.
"Doesn't mean it makes it better than yours," Isis smiled.
"Are you done hanging around my wife?" Osiris smirked, waltzing into the room in an outfit similar to Isis gown.
"She's my sister," Seth refuted.
"She's my sister and wife, I have more qualifications for her," Osiris argued back with a grin. He walked up to Isis and wrapped his hands around her.
"And this is the part where I leave isn't it?" Seth growled, he turned around and walked out the door.
The room sat in silence for a few seconds.
"I… missed you," Osiris murmured.
"Don't tease me, you know it's hard for me to admit my feelings," Osiris sighed.
"That's why it makes it more fun for me to tease you," Isis giggled a grin spread across her face.
"Have fun with that," Osiris laughed. He pulled Isis closer into a kiss.
"How long has it been since I've seen you?" Isis sighed.
"5 centuries," Osiris replied.
"It's been a while, huh?" Isis grinned.
"How was it on earth?" Osiris asked.
"Boring, I witnessed so much crime, hate, sorrow that my vision of humanity has almost been tarnished," Isis sighed.
"Well welcome home," Osiris smiled.
"It was about time," Isis replied as she hugged Osiris.
