"Dad are you serious?" Nephthys asked.

"Completely," Geb replied, not looking up to her. He was starting to feel a slight regret for what he had done but surely it was the right decision… he wasn't so sure anymore.

Seth was just about to blow, how was that reasonable? He thought, Did I train for centuries through my single and teen years just to hear this? His eyes started to flicker to gray as his hate deepened. He needed to leave immediately before he sets everything on fire with his anger. He immediately gets up and exits the room. Isis looked up from her food and locked eyes with her father. Her eyes turned blue.

"Why did you lie?" She asked the question, rolled off her tongue, and stung her father.

Geb tried to avoid her eyes but it was too late those piercing blue eyes stabbed into him and through his lies. No one could lie in Isis presence.

Isis stood up from her seat and pushed in her chair, "you should've just stuck to traditions dad, it doesn't matter if you are the king of the universe the rules are set the way they are for a reason."

She walked out of the ballroom and after Seth. She knew Seth like she knew her own hand and from his behaviors, there was no way he was going to let this go. She turned left and walked down the long hallways of the fortress towards Seth and Nephthys' bedroom. The air got colder the closer she got, signifying Seth's reaction to the news.

"Is he inside?" Isis asked.

Nephthys nodded a yes and she stood up and stepped aside allowing Isis to walk in the bedroom. Isis opened the wide doors and stepped into the room. The air was so cold she could see her breath in front of her.

"Seth there is no point hiding from me," Isis sighed, "I see it all."

A hand pulled Isis and pinned her against the wall, "if you see it all then didn't you see what just happened? Why didn't you stop it?" Seth whispered his lips brushing against Isis ears and voice shaking from anger and defeat. He raised his hand and lifted Isis' face up to his.
