Isis woke up the next morning and immediately walked to her wardrobe and slipped on a light long shirt and tied her hair into a messy bun. She glanced to the bed behind her and surely her husband Osiris was fast asleep in a deep sleep preventing him from meeting reality. Turning back to the wardrobe she looks through his selection of clothes and picks out his morning outfit. She was glad to see him alive and well, she was glad he was going to be the next king but had this pressing feeling something was going to happen. Seeing her hubby was still fine, she must just be worrying too much. She turned to leave when she felt a pair of eyes staring at her back.
"Where do you think you're going?" Osiris grinned, "not thinking you're going to leave without giving me a morning kiss now are you?"
"My, my, what a greedy hubby I have," Isis laughed. She walked over to the bed and gave Osiris a kiss on his forehead.
"The luckiest greedy hubby on the planet," Osiris smiled.
"Well, you're also going to be a late hubby if you don't hurry up," Isis giggled, "hurry up." She threw his clothes at him and got off the bed.
Isis walked out of the room and down the hallway into the breakfast hall.
"Good morning hun," Nut greeted Isis.
"Good morning mother!" Isis smiled.
"So I'm invisible now?" Geb complained.
Isis ignored him and walked over to her side of the table and sat down. Steps echoed into the hall as Seth walked in Nephthys holding his arms. His pale skin color seemed even paler, he didn't seem to have gotten a lot of sleep. Osiris walked in after them and quickly walked to his seat next to Isis avoiding Seth's eyes. After everyone sat down the air stayed in a sterile awkward state slowly stifling Isis.
"I have an announcement to make," Geb cleared his throat.
"Another one of those?" Isis sighed.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Geb frowned and his voice rose in defense.
Geb looked away from Isis and cleared his throat once again, "You have been called back to Earth by the humans."
Isis' ears perked up at this. To be called to earth while visiting this place would mean there had to have been a lot of prayers by thousands of people around the world wishing for the god or goddess presence.
