"You mean it?" Isis asked.
"What's with everyone wondering if I mean what I say or not, yes I mean it," Geb sulked.
Isis sprung up from her seat and began to walk out of the room when she stopped and looked back at them, "How long is it going to be?"
"About 3 days," Geb replied.
Turns out down on Earth there was quite a big bombing and multiple people needed to be cured and healed. Isis worked from morning to night and started all over the next day, humanity had taken a huge hit. Today was one of those days when she finally had the time to sit down by herself and try to earn all of her strength back.
Isis laid on the hammock in her large greenhouse and breathed in the fresh scent of the flowers around her. Being surrounded by flowers reminded her of the days centuries ago when she and Osiris would lay in the grass together and stare up at the sky while in the distance Seth would be watching from the sidelines with Nephthys laying on his lap. She suddenly missed her home. Why hadn't they sent her a message? The suspense was slowly eating at her when the air around her suddenly tightened and a message flashed before her eyes.
"Return home immediately," Isis read the message, "Osiris is dead"
Her heart dropped to the floor. She looked back at the letter and read it again, Osiris was in danger? What was going on? Without a second thought, Isis jumped off her hammock and leaped into the sky. Her heart pounded quickly as she approached the elevator, her fingers pushed the buttons multiple times trembling dangerously. The elevator door opens and she pounds the buttons furiously. Anxiety claws at her making the elevator ride seem even longer. Soon there is a ding and without waiting for it to slide open, she pulls the door apart and flew out in seconds.
She zooms down the pathway and sees the gates quickly approaching her then without hesitation launched herself into the air flying over the gates and landing with a thud, the ground shook from her landing and thunder rang through the kingdom. Isis sprinted towards the fortress, she ran so fast her feet barely touched the floor and she threw herself at the doors of the fortress knocking them off their hinges and letting them fall to the ground.
