Chapter 10：Sound Familiar?

Her feet pound on the floor as she ran down the hallway she turned into the ballroom and she pulled to an abrupt stop. Everyone sat around the table except for Seth, their heads were all down and they avoided her gaze.

"Where is my husband? TELL ME NOW? this must be a joke to you all. DO I LOOK LIKE A JOKE TO YOU?" Isis yelled, tears stung her eyes, and rolled down her cheek. He was nowhere in sight.

She ran up to Nephthys and pulled her up shaking her by the shoulder, "WHERE IS HE? ANSWER ME!"

"YOU DON'T KNOW? WHAT DO YOU MEAN? ALL YOU DO IS LAZY AROUND THE HOUSE COMPLAINING YOU AREN'T NEEDED AND CRYING BUT WHEN SOMEONE ACTUALLY NEED YOU ALL YOU CAN SAY IS I DON'T KNOW?!" Isis screamed. Her heart tightened.

She turned to her father and mother and shrieked, "TELL ME THIS IS ALL A LIE PLEASE!" She fell to the floor and collapsed in a fit of tears.

"We- don't know love, last night the last time I saw him was during dinner and he left to talk to Seth," Nut sighed.

"Seth?" Isis asked her tears stopped at his name. It couldn't be, it wouldn't be. Seth isn't like that!

Isis stood up and ran out of the room towards Seth's bedroom answers to the situation spun in her head, answers she didn't want. She stopped at Seth's door and opens it. Slowly she stepped into the room to find Seth on the bed reading a book.

"What are you doing?" Isis asked her voice wavering, "did you not hear the news? OSIRIS IS DEAD."

"I heard, the whole kingdom has heard," Seth replied looking up from his book and into Isis' eyes.

"Then why are you sitting there? WHY AREN'T YOU DOING ANYTHING IF YOU HEARD?" Isis stammered as her voice rose shakily.

"I heard but that doesn't mean I have to do something," Seth replied he closed his book and looked up at Isis, "sound familiar?"
