Chapter 199 - EXPLOIT

Unfortunately, Melanie was noticed by him and was made into a target. Few days of spending time together, he finally took her virginity away. And after days, he got tired of her, found a new prospect, and left her saying, it was not her fault, it's him. That bullshit excuse made her want to fight for their relationship because she thought if she changed, he would not insist on the break-up. But she found out that he was already flirting with some other girl!

Melanie was a very sensible woman, she didn't get jealous of the new girl but hated Lawrence deep within her bones. This experience poignant her values for the rest of her life and ever since she hadn't been into any relationship.

"That curse was bestowed to me by many, I think I dispelled it from birth." Lawrence smiled, shrugging off his shoulder. Many of his exes, whether it was a girlfriend or just a fling, truly hated him to the core that they cursed him to death. But up to this day, none of them was that tough enough to get over him and move on. Even Melanie had remaining feelings for him, and he knew that.

"Jerk." Melanie tightened the grip on her mug and glared at him. She put out her middle finger before turning around and leaving the three of them alone. Stomping her feet, and walking away. Mika and Jason finally let themselves breathe.

"That was intense. Wooh!" Jason laughed and redirected his eyes to Lawrence. "I think you should watch out, I heard from a friend that Melanie was starting to buy voodoo dolls with your name written on them."

"How long has it been? It's three years ago, right? She still couldn't move on from you?" Jason added and Mika shook her head, she might be a lesbian but she's also a woman. And women's fragile hearts were the last thing men should break. Because they turn very venomous when it comes to love.

"Speaking of love, Kuya, don't be too uptight, alright? Make sure to treat her nicely. Don't say foul words, and treat her like a gentleman." Cailly sneered as she heard Yanarym's constant reminder to their older brother on the way to the mall where the blink date will be held.

"You said that for the hundredth time Rym, I get it," Yashnile said nonchalantly, out of three, the two ladies were those who were excited about this date. Yashnile on the other hand, was obviously forced to be with them and cooperate.

"No! You don't get it! Fix that expression Kuya! If I am your date I will get really anxious with that look on your face." Yanarym scolded him.

"If you were my date, that would be better."

"Kuya!"

"Okay, fine, fine!" He faked a smile and Yanarym wanted to smack his face with her palm. This wasn't working out, if this date won't work out --- she couldn't say it anymore. Why was this world so hard to handle?

"Whatever! Let's just go home if you're like this!" She looked away from him and looked at Cailly who was sitting at the back of the car. "Drop us off, we'll be taking a cab."

"What? Why are you moody all of a sudden?"

"Stop the car! I don't want to be with you."

"Hey!" He locked the door in case his sister does something crazy. He took a glance at her and she was crossing her arms and glaring at the road.

"I said stop the car!"

"No!" Yashnile yelled back, "I told you okay? I'm doing this! Why can't you be a little patient with me? It's not like I like dating."

"That's why let's just stop this! It's not gonna work out because you obviously hate it."

"...Rym."

"Stop the car Kuya."

"Cailly, say something to your sister!" Running out of options, he called out Cailly. And Cailly knew this was an act of Yanarym to exploit Yashnile.

She took a deep breath, "Kuya, Rym's right. If you came to your date with that kind of expression on your face, it would totally fail. At least pretend to be okay. Yanarym really works hard for this to be possible." Yashnile stepped on the break because of the red light, Yanarym took this chance to take off her seatbelt but Yashnile stopped her.

"Alright, Rym. I will do this right and act properly. Since we're already here. I might as well try? Right?" She halted her actions and glimpsed at him.

"You will?"

"I will." She smiled and got comfortable on her seat like she didn't have a tantrum. "It's green light Kuya, let's go." Yashnile just drove on their way to the mall.

If there's one thing he never thought of doing, that would be dating. Since childhood, all he ever wanted was to become a perfect son of his parents, so he did excellent on everything that he was assigned to do.

Then, Yanarym was born. That changes his purpose in life. From being a good son to a loving brother. When she was kidnapped, that purpose collapsed but she came back and he found his reason for living again, dedicating his entire life to her. Loving, and taking care of her. That was why the thought of shifting his attention elsewhere was not possible, he was made for her, there was no doubt about it, but this little girl was all about selling him off to another woman. He doesn't get it, why was she so eager for him to meet and date a woman who could take him away from the family?

In spite of the fact that he doesn't get a bit of how her brain works, he was still willing to do every single thing she wanted. Yashnile felt like he was her slave from their past life and he couldn't get away with that hierarchy status.

"There she is!" Yanarym whispered to him when they arrived at a fast-food chain.
