Chapter 200 - MADDI

The fast-food chain was the location where he will meet his date. How classy of his sister, Yashnile thought. Yanarym pushed him and she pulled Cailly to sit on the nearest available table.

Yashnile sighed and followed her instruction to meet the girl of the blind date. He walked up to her and sat on her front.

"Hi, Miss Maddi, my sister Yanarym sent me here to meet you." He said casually to the girl. They met each other's eyes and she shyly looked away.

"Oh. Ahm, hello, Y-yashnile." She waved her hand awkwardly and fixed her hair. "I didn't expect that you would really come." She held her breath and glanced at him again. " Oh gosh, you're so handsome, oh no! I'm sorry I mean -- I'm glad you're here."

He smiled at her, "Me too, you look pretty too."

"Oh my gosh!" Maddi covered her mouth and blush to the ears. "I'm sorry… it was… oh my god this is embarrassing."

"Oh, hahaha. It's alright Maddi, it's just me. You can be casual."

"That would be impossible, you're my … this darn mouth!" Yashnile chuckled, Maddi bit her lips and prevented herself from being more embarrassed than she currently was. Looking at them, Yanarym and Cailly from afar made a high five on each other.

Guide-sama: "How do you know that this would work out?"

"I don't exactly know that this would work Guide-sama, but I had a guess."

Guide-sama: "You said before, you were sure."

"Well, you know, sometimes people lie about something to be confident or to simply comfort themselves."

Guide-sama: "You were not sure about this result?"

"Truthfully? Yeah, I was not expecting it to succeed like this. After all, this was a trial and error." Yanarym ate her popcorn focusing her attention on the movie when she was done surveilling Yashnile's situation upon dating Maddi.

Guide-sama: "Then you don't see Yashnile as the threat to you anymore?"

"Well, if you say it like that, what do you think? Does he like her?"

Guide-sama: "All I could say is, he is enjoying her company."

"He should be, we made a lot of effort looking for her."

Guide-sama: "Can I ask if her similarities with you do make any difference?"

"Of course, it does."

Guide-sama: "How?"

"This was purely an assumption. Since I have not experienced it myself but often read it in the romantic genre back in my first life."

Guide-sama: "What?"

"Substitution."

Guide-sama: "Substitute?"

"Yep, aside from reverse harem. I was also into stories where the male lead had fallen in love with the female lead who he thought was someone else he was in love with, then he found out the truth that it was not really her. He got confused, and left her but realized he was already in love with the female lead who was the replacement, the substitute."

Guide-sama: "Your plan is like that to Yashnile?"

"Yes,"

Guide-sama: "Then, why does it have to be your replica?"

"You mean, why not the original's replica?"

Guide-sama: "That's right, doesn't Yashnile had feelings for the original?"

"Silly, who was he with for the past nine years? The original or me?"

Guide-sama: "You."

"Who was with him when he developed his forbidden love? The original or me?"

Guide-sama: "You."

"Who do you think he loves at this point? The original or ...me?"

Guide-sama: "You?"

"Correct, but let's consider your idea, a scenario where we found a girl similar to the original's personality. What do you think will happen if we set them up on the date?"

Guide-sama: "I'm sorry, I don't know, what will happen?"

"It will be like he is dating a complete stranger. It will be awkward and we will just ruin the chance of confusing Yashnile about his feelings for me."

Guide-sama: "Why?"

"Because he hasn't met the original, he doesn't know that side of her. What he thought she would be like was like Cailly, but is he into Cailly?"

Guide-sama: "No."

"That's right, he's into me. That's why we looked for my substitute. Luckily, I have you to create or look for a certain person with my exact personality."

Guide-sama: "Since she was your replica, won't that trigger Yashnile's true feelings for you? Instead of making him confused, won't he be convinced that you are the one for him?"

"The fact that he was just in denial means he knew the truth. And since we are offering him a person where he could direct his hidden desires, he would feign denial and just love Maddi."

Guide-sama: "How do you guarantee that?"

"I can't but I had a reference, remember Rajah Basi? Though it was a very different scenario, the concept of forbidden love was still there. We both know that he eventually fell in love with Tala, right?"

Guide-sama: "I see, you were using Maddi as the person where Yashnile could direct his love."

"That's what I've been saying to you, are you listening to me?"

Guide-sama: "I am, but sometimes you're too complicated to understand. However, I know what you were saying makes sense."

"Of course I make sense! I won't blabber and waste energy to explain something that doesn't make sense."

Guide-sama: "I'm just saying, that you are too complicated to understand --- sometimes."

"I'm not complicated."

Guide-sama: "You are aware of your own complexity, Yanarym. Don't deny it. I can read your thoughts.

"Guide-sama,"

Guide-sama: "Yes?"

"Shut up."

Yanarym felt her phone vibrating in her pocket, someone was calling her. She drifted her attention from the movie and looked for who it was, and it was Yazeno. She looked at Cailly who was keeping an eye on their older brother.

"Zen is calling me, did you tell him about today?" She whispered and Cailly furrowed her brows.

"Aren't you the one who did that?"

"Me? Wasn't that you?"

"Oh-oh."

"What? So, no one told him?" They both turned quiet as they sighed. "I'll answer this, you guard Kuya."

"Okay.." Yanarym got off the theater and Yazeno had 5 missed calls within that short time.
