"Kuya! Kuya wait. Let's chill, okay? Don't rush and make your argument big. You know Rym, she won't listen to you."
"Zen! Help me here and tell me what happened?"
"Kuya is just doing his job," Yazeno commented.
"What's going on?" As soon as Yanarym reached Lawrence, visible dissatisfaction was written all over her face. He was on a call with his superior earlier regarding the case that he just closed, it was confidential that's why he moved from an isolated space and only saw when his girlfriend was having a dispute with her brother.
"Your room is on the top floor." She said and gave him the key card. "And I'm here in the lobby."
"You yelled at your brother for this?"
"What? For this? He's separating us Law! He's been giving you the cold treatment since yesterday!" Lawrence chuckled and pinched her frowning expression. He felt delighted having her on his side instead of her own brother.
"You were supposed to expect this much, right? You told me that your brother will not be happy with you having a boyfriend." He muttered and combed her hair through his finger. She looked up to him and embraced his torso. "Rym," he called her out and she tightened her hug. "You were the hardest trial I had gone through, your brother is nothing." He added.
"It's different, I am the only person who could bully you." Lawrence laughs at her once again.
"I'm not getting bullied, and it's not like we are staying in our room all day right? Just let it be."
"You don't understand. Kuya is such a bummer." She sighed and let him go, "We will not be enjoying this vacation."
"Ate, Kuya wants to talk." Yazeno interrupted, Yanarym sighed once more "Your friends were already on their way to their rooms."
"Alright, we're going." Yanarym said, Yazeno shook his head and said in a cold voice without giving attention to Lawrence, "Kuya said, you alone."
"Zen! Stop being disrespectful too."
"I'm normally like this," Yazeno uttered dryly. Yanarym took a deep breath and glanced at Lawrence.
"I'm okay." He said to her and cupped her face. "Don't be so stressed out, this is your vacation."
"I will talk to them." She said sweetly and pecked on his cheeks. "See you later."
"Okay, I'll be in my suite." He lets her go with a smile on his face. Three months of going through hell to have the girl was worthy. He couldn't say what's the status of him in her heart but he could guarantee that she was doing her best on giving him the chance. She was a total girlfriend material from the first day that they've been together.
She was clingy and very sweet. Sometimes, she was a witch but most of the time she's very caring. Although he had a busy schedule on his job she didn't mention it and kept on being understanding.
However, there were moments when he could feel that she was allowing him to be good to her like everything was a lie. That was why he wasn't sure if she was into him or just pity him for some certain reason and giving him a chance to be with each other. He's been into many relationships with women, a variety of them.
He knew when they were in love, he could say it just looking at their eyes. He could distinguish if they were into him, crazy for him, adoring him, fantasizing about him, or just liking his vibe. But Yanarym's eyes didn't show the affection he was expecting. Just like how she gaped at him at the very beginning, there was nothing.
Yanarym sat on the chair in front of Yashnile. She was still showing her defiant expression and not looking him in the eyes. Yashnile wanted to argue but seeing her, made him yield.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"About what?" She grunted, crossing her arms.
"Your boyfriend. Why didn't you tell me?"
"Do I have to? As far as I know, you had your surveillance on me at school." Yashnile was stunned, was that the reason why Jana had stopped updating him? Because they were caught? More importantly, Yanarym knew. Could he make an excuse?
"You know?"
"Of course, I know Kuya I'm not stupid." He was silenced. "I know you were using my friend to keep an eye on me. I didn't say anything about that, I waited for you to admit it but you were not even repenting."
"Rym, I just want to keep you safe."
"Kuya you're too overbearing. You're just making me rebel more on you. The more you suppress me, the more I want to break free. Sooner or later, you can't handle me, what are you going to do if I leave the mansion because of you?"
"Rym… "
"Lawrence is my boyfriend, he earned it. I told him that if he could stay after three months of courtship, I will give him the chance. So, I did, he never violated my rights and respected me as his girlfriend, he is good to me. I know that you know that too, that he was not a bad guy, so please, stop ruining this vacation for us. I don't want to hate you."
She left him speechless, Maddi who was not far away heard it. She didn't know what to do or say at this point. So, she left to give space to Yashnile.
Yanarym closed her door and jumped to her bed. At this period, the original died already. The story of this book changed drastically, none of the plots was followed. From this point on she had no way of knowing the future based on the memory of the original or on to the plot. This became her reality, her only help to finish the task was Guide-dama who was monitoring Movu.
The plan, for the time being, was to become a dedicated girlfriend to Lawrence, Yashnile was restricted to the fact that Maddi became his girlfriend.
