"It's not sex but you were pounding her naked, you're right. That's not sex." Lawrence was speechless hearing Cailly's ridicule.
He sneered to look somewhere else, he couldn't believe she's doing this right now. Why is she mad? He's not the one who entered someone else's room and watched a private moment of a couple.
He doesn't want to argue anymore, that's why he ended it there. But she keeps on throwing stones at him.
"I won't force you to understand, just forget it for Rym's sake." He calmly said but that triggered something in Cailly.
Forget, he said. He wanted her to forget that, how could she? She saw them making love! The person of her affection romancing another woman on the bed lovingly.
"Forget? How can I forget that? I can't forget that!" Lawrence didn't say a word after hearing her exclamation. Realizing what she said, she bit her lips inward. "Sorry, it's just, I'm tired."
"Cailly, please, after this, will you stay away from me?" Lawrence said solemnly, Cailly paused and looked at him surprised. He returned the gaze with a problematic expression.
"What?"
"You still like me...." He stated, Cailly took a deep breath, she does, she still likes him. And he could see through her again but what does it have to do with staying away? Why does she always need to adjust again? She left to go abroad and continued her studies there… far away from her family to have the distance he wanted.
And now, he still wants her to keep their distance? How long shall she suffer for him to believe that she won't do anything to his relationship with her sister?
"What about it?" She asked. "I'm studying abroad in Lawrence. I just have two weeks' vacation to be with my family. And you're saying that I should stay away from you? Again? I'm already living outside the country, how far should I go to be away from you?"
"Haven't we talked about this before? It doesn't matter which country you've gone to, as long as you have feelings for me, I don't want to see you."
"...but I'm not trying to do anything! Why do you keep on pushing me away?! I'm not desperate!"
"What if Rym notices you? I can see it in your eyes Cailly, you're jealous of Rym, I don't want you to harm her."
"Harm?" She sneered at him, "She's my sister for Pete's sake, Lawrence! How are you imagining that I could hurt her for you?!" She yelled and the elevator doors opened. "I didn't mean to interrupt you, okay? I also don't want to feel this for you!" She added and walked to the elevator. "Don't crumple my heart like you always do, stop being a jerk!"
"Wait, Cai! Cailly! Fuck." The elevator door closed and started to move down. Lawrence sighed, of course, now, he is the bad guy.
He turned around and walked back to their hotel room, he found Yanarym sitting on the bed while hugging her knees waiting for his return. He showed her a smile to assure her that he brought nothing but good news…
"Everything's alright, Cailly said she will forget." He approached her and kissed the top of her head.
"Really?" She asked innocently and Lawrence nodded before holding her hand and squeezing it.
"Yeah, stop with the perplexed expression, it's not you."
"Should we get a separate room?" Yanarym suggested that made Lawrence frozen but immediately recovered.
"Do you want that?" He let her go and cupped her face.
"Can I?" She asked in a low tone staring straight into his eyes with honest eyes. Lawrence smiled, he didn't want to, but he couldn't say no, he leaned to give her a quick kiss.
"Of course, I'll ask for another room. At the moment you should sleep here, yeah?" He silently said and laid her down, he put her head to his arm and gently brushed her hair. She closed her eyes, Lawrence caressed her cheeks, "I love you." He whispered but she didn't say it back, instead, she embraced his torso tightly.
Movu entered a private dining room of the building with his people to end a deal for the legal business of the family. For the past month, Don Falcon has been bedridden because Movu poisoned him, unfortunately, bad grass won't die easily, up to till now, Don Falcon is fighting to live. But with a single flick of his finger, Movu could end his life, right now, he's just wrapping up the patches of his plan to gather everyone's forces on his side.
He wanted to end everything fast, he couldn't spend more time away from Yanarym. Maybe the next news he'll be receiving was that she'll marry that detective policeman, but he will never, ever let that happen. What's the point of all of this battle if he couldn't be with her at the end?
After an hour of meeting and talking to the other party, who would be beneficial to him, he excused himself and left the room to go to the bathroom. However, he saw someone familiar walking past him. His eyes followed the woman who was wearing blue jeans and a simple dark blue t-shirt. Her white-blonde hair was flowing in the air as her scent penetrated through his nostrils. She was with a man and smiling gorgeously.
"What do you want to eat?" Lawrence asked Yanarym, she just woke up, they were supposed to have room service but Lawrence insisted on having a candlelight dinner with her in the restaurant of the hotel.
"Half the menu?" She said with a serious tone that made him laugh. Pinching her nose that immediately turns red, "Hahaha, be specific."
"I'll decide if I see the menu, by the way, where's Cailly? Is she..."
"Don't worry about her, she went shopping."
"Oh.... " Lawrence escorted her to the seat and Yanarym sat down with a gloomy expression, "She'll never look at me the same way as before."
