Chapter 231 - CLARENCE

"Rym, everyone does it. Don't be hard on yourself. We didn't even do it." Lawrence uttered with a soft tone. Yanarym sighed and wandered her eyes around and caught a man staring in her direction. He's staring at her intensely, that sharp gaze…

Yanarym parted her lips, she felt her heart skip a beat. This familiar emotion can only be caused by one person. It was Movu, they locked on to each other's eyes that both were frozen on their spot.

"Movu?" She whispered through her breath and Lawrence heard her, he stopped browsing in the menu. He looked at her with a wrinkled forehead, it's been a while since he heard that name coming from her mouth.

"Rym?" He tried calling her but her full attention was on somewhere. He followed her gaze and saw her making eye contact with a stranger. For a second he felt anxiousness rush all over his system.

"Rym." He called her again but she didn't bat an eye on him and stood up from her seat and ran in the man's direction. "Rym!" But before she could even take a further step, Lawrence grabbed her arm. He gulped when she turned her eyes on him. "What's going on?" He asked despite knowing what might be happening.

"It's Movu… h-he's back."

"It's you… Rym." Someone embraces Yanarym's body before she could even say a word to Lawrence.

"Movu?" She muttered.

"Yes, it's me." He didn't let her go and squeezed her.

"You're back?" She whispered and Movu smiled hearing her sweet tone.

"I am." Lawrence watching on the side did not know what to say, he couldn't move a finger. He's scared to ask nor to speak, he knew how much Yanarym treasured this person, he heard her stories regarding Movu, their promise, and her love for him. He never thought that this moment would come.

"Why are you here? In Spain?" Yanarym made a gap between them and Movu kept close physical contact.

"I live here." He smiled at her and tucked her silky hair behind her ear. "After sending you to the Philippines, I came home here to do some family business."

"Really?"

"Yes, and you?" He asked.

"I am on vacation… oh!" Yanarym felt Lawrence grip her hand tightening, she turned to him, "Law meet Movu, Movu this is Lawrence."

"I'm her boyfriend," Lawrence said in a hurry, Yanarym paused, she could see how threatened he was with Movu's presence. "Lawrence, you can call me Law."

"Yes, he is," Yanarym said, flustered with his anxious temperament. "We're on a vacation date with my sister."

Movu smiled at him then redirected his eyes to her. The boyfriend was standing in front of him, the man who dared to steal his person, his Rym. He sent someone to investigate Yanarym's life, how she lived all these years, how many boyfriends she committed with, how happy she was, how did she manage to fit in with society after the incident, everything about her from the moment they parted.

He learned she didn't go to high school and was homeschooled for five years. She could only leave the house if she was with her brother who was with hired best bodyguards. Her younger brother stopped for a year to be with her day and night, she was on good terms with her adoptive sister, who was the substitute person when she went missing. Their father will only meet them once a year outside the mansion. When she turned to the right age, she took a college examination and forced her way to become a criminology student because her family didn't want to risk her safety.

In the end, she won the argument and entered college as the most prominent policewoman in the future. She was skilled and all of her professors and instructors admired her, not only them but her entire department.

She was idolized even by those who were not in her department. Mostly by men, and women were admiring her heroic charm. For the next three years of her college life, many attempted to court her but none succeeded until Lawrence came into her life. After a few days of flirting with her, he announced that he was permitted to court her.

Movu doesn't see anything special about him, he wondered why would Yanarym give him a chance. Movu was irritated by it, what so special about this policeman?

He also heard that Yanarym only loved one person, and she was willing to marry him when he came back to get her so she wasn't interested in dating anyone and then, suddenly, she became a couple with this man. And they lasted more than a year and still counting, but that should last long.

Because he's back, he's the one who should be with her, Yanarym belongs to him. Not to this Lawrence. But it's fine now, he would get all things and people to where they should be. He will get his little girl back.

"It's nice to meet you, Lawrence, my real name's Clarence but my little girl calls me Movu." He extended his hand to shake hands with him. Electrifying gaze was thrown at each other as their hands gripped tighter and tighter.

"I'm no longer a girl Movu." Yanarym rebutted and threw him a cute glare, he loosed up and chuckled at her. Of course, she's no longer a girl. She's a woman now, his woman. "And since when did your name change to Clarence?" She asked lifting her right brows, Movu couldn't help but smile widely. He wanted to pinch her cheeks and squeeze her. She's so cute and gorgeous at the same time.

"That's my real name, Rym. It's Clarence, but I like it better to be called Movu, especially by you." He said affectionately, Lawrence gawked at him but he didn't care.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Yanarym, who seemed numb by the competition between two men, was innocently asking Movu a question that ignites Lawrence's madness.
