Long feverish kisses made Yul's entire boy hot. He didn't hold back this time and switched their positions so that Zeng was pushed on the mattress and he hovered over him, nibbling his lips like there's no tomorrow.
Zeng let him do whatever he wanted. After all, he owed it to him for all the wait and confusion he had put him through. Yul definitely wasn't missing the chance. He deepened the kiss, pushing Zeng further into the mattress at the same time pressing him against his body. His hands roamed the perfect body that he wished to explore for a long time. Despite being a man, it just felt right to do these things with Zeng. It felt perfect. Zeng was perfect and he was now his. He loved him back the same way Yul loved him all these months. There could not be anything better than this.
Zeng had to clutch Yul's shirt since he was getting lightheaded due to the lack of the necessary intake of breath. He moaned again, conveying his need for air. Yul decided to have mercy and pulled away but only a little.
Zeng was heaving for breaths, his cheeks flushed and eyes hazy. "You have quite the stamina," he said against Yul's lips and felt them smile against his own. Yul kissed him softly on the lips and hid his face in the crook of his neck, hugging Zeng.
"You haven't seen my real stamina yet," he said and Zeng laughed. He ran his fingers through Yul's hair, "Yeah, I'll see it soon though, I guess."
Yul peeked at him, placing his chin on Zeng's chest, a proud smirk adorned his boyish features, "If you want to, I can show you right here, right now."
Zeng ruffled his hair. "Not today, you have to go early for work tomorrow morning."
Yul groaned, "I don't want to go!" He hid his face again.
Zeng snorted, "Who said he wanted to be a hero, fighting all evil in the world? You got no choice, piggy." He slipped from under Yul and got on his side. "Come on now, sleep. You have to wake up early tomorrow."
"I don't want to sleep." Yul pulled him closer, looking at him with a rather grave expression. "What if I sleep and wake up to find that it was all a dream? What if we never kissed? What if I open my eyes and don't find you beside me? What if you never said you loved me?"
Zeng could see the obvious fear in Yul's eyes. He cupped his face and bonked his nose, "Stop with all the what-ifs. You and I love each other in the present so let's live in it. Don't think about anything else."
"Says the one who kept me hanging for months," Yul said with a sulk.
Zeng laughed at himself. He really did keep him hanging but thanks to Yul's persistence and pacing, Zeng was able to come across. "Don't worry," he said, "I will be right here, Officer Wang. Do you want to put handcuffs on me for reassurance or what?"
Yul raised an eyebrow. "Kinky, huh? I'll remember it for future references." He smirked, making Zeng roll his eyes.
Yul left the teasing for some other time because tonight, he was just too happy to make his love sulk. He shook his head. "I would never chain you to me." He took Zeng's hand and kissed his knuckles. "I would never force you to do something you don't like. That's not how I love you."
Zeng blushed hearing those words. Just how fortunate was he that Yul fell in love with him and not somebody else. He couldn't help but be unsure of his own worth, "Even if I decide to run away someday?"
"Even if you decide to run away someday," Yul said without hesitation.
"Because I know you will come back. And I will be waiting for you even then. Because… I will love you that much… to the point where you won't even imagine a life without me."
Zeng gripped the hand with which Yul held his own. "That's a scary thought, Yul."
The police officer smiled reassuringly, "Don't worry, I'll make sure that's never gonna happen."
Zeng hugged Yul, hiding his face in the younger one's broad chest that seemed to hide him away from all the bad things. He wanted to curl up in a ball and hide there forever as Yul would always keep him protected. However that was the thing, nothing lasts forever. And it scared Zeng. "You are always so optimistic," he murmured, barely audible.
"Well, you are always pessimistic so I got to be optimistic for us both," Yul said while playing with Zeng's hair. The doctor pinched the officer for the comment. Yul winced.
"Truth hurts, Zeng ge. I know," he said, rubbing the abused spot on his arm and pulled the doctor closer, locking his arms to avoid getting pinched again.
Zeng huffed, calming down. He faced Yul and laid on the side. "I am like this and I don't think I will ever change," he said, voice laced with warning. His pessimistic tendencies sometimes even scared him.
Yul kissed his forehead, "I am not complaining. It's a part of you and I love the entire you."
Zeng could only sign in defeat and be kissed by his lover. Yul was really a saint, he thought. Zeng must have done something great in his past life to have Yul in this one. But then again, he didn't believe in reincarnation. However, he did know to be grateful for the things he received.
"Thank you," he said, voice as a whisper, "For waiting."
Yul shook his head, "Thank you for saying yes. I swear, I'll be the best boyfriend ever and will always keep you happy." He promised.
"Well, I am happy," Zeng replied. "I really am. You make me feel at ease. You make me feel there's hope for this doomed me; a chance for love again. You make me smile without a reason. You really make me happy." Zeng cupped his face and connected their foreheads.
"Wang Yul, I love you," he said again, loud and clear.
Yul was moved to tears and had to shut his eyes to avoid spilling them. He was sobbing again like a baby and Zeng had to pull him to his chest and stroke his back till he calmed down.
He slept that way in Zeng's arms, a place where he belonged, the person who was now his.
