Lu Lijun returned to his room and went to bed. Lying down, he remembered Jiang Yuyan's puzzled eyes when he went closer to her. The way she stepped back, losing her cold composure, he liked it. A light smile painted on his lips that he was not aware of.
At that moment, he wished to get even closer to her, but those puzzled eyes stopped him, and he stepped back. Though Jiang Yuyan acted cold and strong to the world, he could still affect her, and somewhere it pleased him.
Lu Lijun had so many things in mind that he had to do the next day, especially the start of troubling President Lu. He didn't know why he wanted to trouble her. It was his anger and hate towards her...well, did he really hate her? Or there was some other reason that made him do it. What exactly he wanted to achieve by doing it.
Not trying to find the answers, he closed his eyes and preferred to rest, which seemed impossible.
-------
Jiang Yuyan went to her room and sat on the couch. So many things went in her mind as she thought about what Lu Lijun said. She didn't want Lu Lijun to look into his brother's case, but it was happening.
Wandering in the room for a while, she picked up her cell phone from the table. She dialed San Zemin's number.
-----
San Zemin and Xiao Min were returning to the city from the village after paying a visit to Lu Qiang's grave.
"Why did Ye Bai want to go alone?" Xiao Min asked while driving.
"That old man must want to wander around," San Zemin commented.
Just then, the cell phone rang, and San Zemin looked at the screen, "Boss?"
Xiao Min looked at the time, "At this hour?"
San Zemin received the call and heard his boss, "Are you back?"
"Would enter the city in half an hour," San Zemin replied.
Jiang Yuyan was so restless even to wait for him to return and then talk, so she asked, "How much Lu Lijun got to know about his brother's accident?"
It surprised San Zemin, and he looked at Xiao Min, who looked back at him as if asking what happened.
San Zemin turned the cellphone on the speaker and replied, "From what I know, the fourth young master stopped investigating after talking to the driver."
"What did the driver tell him?" she asked.
"He followed what he had been told to," San Zemin replied.
Just then, someone knocked on the door, and Jiang Yuyan looked at it. The butler entered the room with a glass of water in the tray.
"Keep an eye on him. He is smart to fool your men," Jiang Yuyan instructed San Zemin, ignoring the butler.
"Understood, boss," San Zemin replied.
Before she could talk more, the butler put the tray in front of her on the center table as he informed, "Medicines."
She looked at what medicine it was and frowned as she instructed on the phone, "San Zemin, lock that Xiao Min somewhere and don't let him show up in front of me at least for a month."
It surprised the two in the car, and Jiang Yuyan spoke again, "Understood?"
"The first boss needs to take that medicine," Xiao Min spoke, instead of San Zemin.
She knew San Zemin and Xiao Min were together. "I sent you away for a day to get rid of you, but still, you won't let me be."
"Once the boss is better, I'll give her a long break from me," Xiao Min countered.
Jiang Yuyan looked at the butler, "I'll take in some time."
The butler nodded and continued standing on one side of the couch.
"Butler uncle can leave," she instructed.
"Xiao Min asked to witness the boss taking medicines," the butler replied.
Sighing deeply, Jiang Yuyan talked on the phone, "You two see me tomorrow," and hung up the call.
Unwillingly, Jiang Yuyan had the medicine, and the butler went out of the room.
She went to bed, cursing Xiao Min for feeding her medicines though she didn't want to and then lay on the bed. The next moment the worry about what Lu Lijun said to her surrounded her mind, and she found it difficult to sleep.
--------
The next day, at the breakfast table, the others talked while Lu Lijun and Jiang Yuyan were silent. Besides these two, one more person was quiet who looked lost in her world, Lu Lian.
"Lian. Mr. Wen asked if you would like to meet Wen Zac today?" Lu Jinhai asked.
Startled, Lu Lian looked at her father and nodded lightly.
Lu Jinhai looked at his son, "Do you remember what you said yesterday?"
Lu Lijun nodded, knowing what his father meant, "I'll pick her up around twelve."
No one had anything to say as they didn't know if it was right for Lu Lijun.
"I'll inform my friend," Lu Jinhai said.

Wen's house…
In the living room, after breakfast, Mr. Wen talked to his son.
"In the evening, you are meeting Lu Lian," Mr. Wen declared.
"Lu Lian? Uncle Lu's daughter?" Wen Zac asked.
"Hmm."
"Father, so suddenly….."
"You agreed to meet any girl I'll ask you to," Mr. Wen replied.
Wen Zac sighed as he had no other option but to agree with it. He never thought his father would be so fast.
Mrs. Wen, who came to them, spoke, "She is a nice girl. Meet her and then decide."
Wen Zac nodded and mumbled, "Do I have another choice?"
"I'm sure you will like her," Mrs. Wen added.

In Ming Mansion..
When everyone quietly had breakfast, Elder Ming asked, "When is your sister returning, and where is she these days?"
"She is somewhere in Africa, doing her social work," Ming Rusheng replied.
"This girl, she forgot she has a family," Elder Ming commented.
"She is happy with her work," Ming Rusheng spoke.
"Who stopped her, but she should at least return home often," This time, Ming Yusheng spoke.
"Both my grandchildren are stubborn," Elder Ming sighed.
"Apology, father," Ming Yusheng apologized on behalf of his kids.
Ming Rusheng didn't look at his grandpa and continued eating, not minding it while his mother didn't interfere with the talk.
"Your friend, Wen Zac, even he will meet a girl today, but you keep rejecting," Elder Ming commented.
As if he heard something wrong, Ming Rusheng looked at his grandpa.
