As if he heard something wrong, Ming Rusheng looked at his grandfather.
The previous night the two friends were together till late, and there was no talk that Wen Zac would meet someone.
"Meeting someone?" Ming Rusheng asked his grandfather.
Elder Ming nodded, disappointingly, "Wen Zac and Lu Lian are meeting today. Both families want them to get married."
Ming Rusheng stopped eating, and he stared at his grandpa for a while in disbelief.
"Why are you staring at me as if I committed a crime?" Elder Ming asked.
Getting back to his senses, Ming Rusheng looked into his dish and gulped the food with much effort.
"Wen Zac was with me yesterday but didn't say anything about it," he tried to cover up.
Ming Yusheng was also surprised with it and said, "It's good. He is a nice man."
Elder Ming looked at Ming Rusheng, "I tried to get her in our family, but my grandson lost his mind."
"As father said, she would be happy with him," Ming Rusheng commented.
"Of course, she would be. After all, both of you said you didn't like each other, so my friend had to find another better person," Elder Ming informed.
"Did they ask her too about Rusheng?" Ming Yusheng asked, and Ming Rusheng waited to hear his grandpa.
Elder Ming nodded, "She said she doesn't like Rusheng in this way. He is only her boss."
Ming Rusheng felt like something stabbed his heart. She didn't like him in that way; it was hurting for him to know.
"If both don't like each other, then it's fine," Ming Yusheng commented.
Elder Ming again got back to Ming Rusheng, "You are meeting someone in the evening, and don't you dare say no to it."
"Grandpa…."
"Don't come in front of me if you want to say no," Elder Ming warned.
Ming Rusheng sighed as he thought it's just about meeting someone and didn't want to disappoint his grandpa again.
"Fine," he agreed. "Where do I have to go?"
"That you decide. You are a man, and you need to decide where to take your woman," Elder Ming replied. His voice was cold, which showed he was still upset with his grandson.
"No one is my woman yet. I'm meeting just because grandpa wants me to," he replied.
Elder Ming glared at him, "As if you always do what I want."
Ming Rusheng stopped and had water, not willing to argue with his grandfather.
Finally, his mother decided to interfere, "Rusheng, just do as grandfather says."
"I'll make a reservation and inform grandpa," Ming Rusheng commented and finished his breakfast.
Excusing himself, he went upstairs as he thought, 'Why did I even return home last night? I was better in the hotel.'
Going into his room, the next thought that came to his mind was about Wen Zac and Lu Lian.
'It's fine. It's just a temporary attraction just because she works with me. Once she resigns, it would be fine. Wen Zac is good for her.'
All sorts of comforting thoughts went through his mind, and he tried to distract himself.

Wen residence…
Liwei came to the living room and saw her parents talking to her brother, who didn't look pleased with the talk.
"Is something serious?" she asked.
"It's something to be happy about," her mother, Mrs. Wen replied.
"First, tell me, did you like Lu Lian?" Mrs. Wen asked, not answering her questions.
Liwei nodded, "She is nice."
"How about her having her sister-in-law?" Mrs. Wen asked.
"Wooh, so this was it. She and Brother will be perfect with each other. I like her," Lewie replied, feeling happy about it.
Mrs. Wen looked at her son, "See, even your sister liked her."
Agreeing, Liwei sat beside her brother, intending to talk more. Just then, Me Wen talked.
"Lu Lijun would be here at noon. Be ready."
Liwei didn't get it, "Why should I be ready?"
"Because he is coming to pick you up," Mr. Wen replied.
Liwei understood, "Father, really?" She didn't look happy about it and spoke again, "I'm sure his family must have asked him to just like my family."
"No one asked or forced him. He was the one to decide," Mr. Wen replied.
It shocked Liwei, and she spoke, "I'll go but don't expect too much from me."
Mr. Wen frowned, "I have stopped expecting anything after what your brother did. You two do whatever you want."
Getting up, Mr. Wen left, and everyone turned silent.
Mrs. Wen tried to ease the situation. "Your father worries about both of your futures. He is just asking you to meet them."
"Understood, mother. I'll go," said Wen Zac.
"I'll go too," Liwei added.

In the noon, Lu Lijun reached Wen residence, and Liwei was already ready. Lu Lijun didn't go inside the home but waited for her in the car.
A pretty young lady came out of the mansion, wearing a white long sleeves crop top and floral print violet color skirt long up to her knees. The fresh colors of her dress gave a pleasant feeling in hot summer weather. Her hair parted on one side, few front hair strands twisted and secured on the back of her head.
Pretty face with a cute little nose, rosy lips, and bright eyes shined even brightly in the afternoon sunlight.
Her delicate figure took steps towards the man who stood outside of the car, being busy with his phone.
While walking towards him, Liwei observed him. That handsome young man, wearing a white perfectly fitted shirt, with sleeves folded up to the elbows and secured with side belts, A black pants, and sneakers with it.
The sunglasses he wore made him look even attractive under the bright sunlight, as he looked focused on what he was doing.
'Not Bad. He looks perfect and well prepared. It doesn't seem like his family forced him,' she thought and smiled, 'At least he is handsome, so it won't be a waste of time.'
