After spending four days in the hospital, Shen Tiantian insisted on going home. Unable to resist her, Shan Yi checked with the doctor to ensure she could be discharged, and since there was an obstetrician at home, they let her leave the hospital.

Although it had only been four days, Shen Tiantian acted as if she hadn’t been home for a long time, restlessly rolling around on the bed.

Shan Yi said: “If you keep rolling around, the baby will get dizzy.”

Shen Tiantian snuggled up with the blanket and smiled, sitting up and asking, “Do you know why I wanted to come home today?”

“To pick up Yaya.”

“I… how did you know?”

Shan Yi didn’t respond, giving her a mysterious look before kissing the corner of her mouth. Just as she was about to pull away, Shen Tiantian grabbed the back of her neck and kissed her roughly.

Shen Tiantian wasn’t good at kissing, clumsily trying to please Shan Yi based on memory.

Shan Yi resisted the urge to respond, curious to see how long her wife could keep it up.

The messy kiss lasted for over a minute before Shen Tiantian pulled back, panting and staring at her. Despite being the one who initiated, her face was the first to turn red.

“I’m the one who got ambushed, so why are you blushing?” Shan Yi teased.

Shen Tiantian glanced at her, lifted her chin arrogantly, but her voice was weak, “But you kissed me first.”

Shan Yi couldn’t help but laugh, pulling her back onto the bed, carefully avoiding her belly, and pretended to threaten: “I might just eat you up right now.”

Knowing that her period hadn’t ended, Shen Tiantian fearlessly replied: “Go ahead, I want you to.”

Hearing this, Shan Yi’s expression changed, and her hand on Shen Tiantian’s waist moved down quickly.

“Ah!” Shen Tiantian screamed, laughing as she grabbed Shan Yi’s hand, repeatedly saying, “I surrender, I surrender.”

Shan Yi stopped immediately, sat on Shen Tiantian’s legs, and checked the time, “Alright, time to sleep.” She had been with Shen Tiantian at the hospital these past few days and still needed to go to the company today.

“What about you?”

Shan Yi paused before saying, “I’ll sleep with you.”

Shen Tiantian pushed her slightly, indicating for her to get up. Kang Jiaya’s flight was tomorrow, and with her current health condition, she was worried Shan Yi wouldn’t let her go out, so she’d been particularly obedient these past two days.

As Shan Yi lay down, Shen Tiantian snuggled up to her, finding the most comfortable position and nuzzling her neck.

Having spent most of the past few days sleeping, Shen Tiantian wasn’t the least bit sleepy and couldn’t fall asleep.

“Can’t sleep?” Shan Yi’s voice broke the silence.

Shen Tiantian murmured a yes, “I think I’ll get up.”

Shan Yi didn’t force her, getting up and changing clothes. Shen Tiantian asked dumbfoundedly, “Where are you going?”

“I need to go to the office.”

“Oh.”

“Want to come with me?”

“No,” Shen Tiantian declined immediately.

Shan Yi raised an eyebrow in surprise. Shen Tiantian had been very clingy these past few days, sending multiple messages even if Shan Yi was just downstairs for ten minutes. But now that they were home, she had completely changed?!

Without saying anything, Shan Yi changed clothes and then said, “I’m heading out.”

“Okay…” Shen Tiantian suddenly stopped talking, got out of bed, and walked over to her with a smile. She adjusted Shan Yi’s collar, her small, fair hands smoothing it out like a virtuous wife. “There, all set.”

The sudden affectionate gesture made Shan Yi feel like her heart was coated in sugar, leaving her speechless from the sweetness.

Shen Tiantian blushed under her gaze and said, “I saw this on TV… does it look right?”

Shan Yi’s lips curved into a slight smile. “Yes, it would look even better with a goodbye kiss.”

Without hesitation, Shen Tiantian stood on her tiptoes to kiss her.

Shan Yi held her waist to make sure she wasn’t uncomfortable.

After the kiss, Shan Yi left the house feeling satisfied, while Shen Tiantian started browsing Taobao1Chinese online shopping platform on her phone, her fingers quickly typing as she ordered a complete set of books on flower arranging.

Since she was pregnant and couldn’t use her phone often due to radiation concerns, she decided to lay a foundation by reading books and planned to watch videos and practice after the baby was born.

The next day, Kang Jiaya arrived at City A Airport around three in the afternoon. Liu Wanjun and Shen Tiantian, both heavily pregnant, arrived at the airport early with their partners.

There were quite a few people waiting to pick up passengers, so to avoid any danger, they moved away from the arrival gate.

Kang Jiaya didn’t come out for a long time. Shen Tiantian stretched her neck, looking eagerly.

Shan Yi massaged her neck, laughing, “Are you tired?”

Shen Tiantian ignored her, suddenly stood up, and waved excitedly, “Jiaya!”

Shan Yi felt both amused and helpless. Shen Tiantian still didn’t act like a pregnant woman, always causing concern.

Not far away, Kang Jiaya, dressed in a gray casual outfit, smiled and walked over with two huge suitcases, embracing Liu Wanjun and Shen Tiantian.

Releasing them, Kang Jiaya scolded, “Didn’t I tell you not to come pick me up?”

“My wife brought me here.”

“My husband brought me here.”

Shen Tiantian and Liu Wanjun said in unison.

Kang Jiaya’s mouth twitched.

So, should she just quietly leave since she’s not married yet? Being teased online wasn’t enough, now they had to do it in person too. As soon as she got off the plane, she was being teased.

Shan Yi smiled and stepped forward, “Welcome back to the country.”

Lin Haozhi had known Kang Jiaya before marrying Liu Wanjun, as their companies had business dealings. It was only later that he found out she was Liu Wanjun’s best friend.

“Let’s talk on the way,” Shan Yi suggested. “I heard from Tiantian that you all like the food at Four Seasons Hall, so I’ve reserved a room there.”

Kang Jiaya said, “Shan Yi, you’ve arranged everything so thoughtfully.”

Shan Yi smiled silently.

Both Lin Haozhi and Shan Yi drove, with the luggage placed in Shan Yi’s car, while Kang Jiaya rode with Lin Haozhi.

Although Kang Jiaya didn’t ride in their car, Shen Tiantian was still very happy and hummed along to the music in the car.

Shan Yi asked her, “Are you very happy?”

Shen Tiantian nodded vigorously, humming, “Yes, very happy. Now we can see each other often.”

Shan Yi didn’t say anything.

Shen Tiantian continued, “I was worried she wouldn’t be able to come back for our wedding, but then she suddenly said she’d come back and stay.”

“It’s for work.”

“Yeah, she’s a strong woman.” Shen Tiantian nodded, then murmured, “But she has a boyfriend, though I don’t know when they’ll get married.”

“Didn’t you ask her?” At a red light, Shan Yi glanced at her. “Ask her if she wants to have a joint wedding with us?”

Shen Tiantian pursed her lips. She knew Kang Jiaya’s personality too well, so she and Liu Wanjun never pressured her. “She probably won’t want to do it so soon. Asking Manager Tian and Xiao Gu would be quicker.”

“Forget about them. I hope we can have our own wedding.”

Shen Tiantian chuckled, looking at her. “You’re just saying that.”

Shan Yi didn’t respond, starting the car again.

The cars arrived at Four Seasons Hall one after the other. As soon as Shen Tiantian got out, she ran toward Kang Jiaya, too quick for Shan Yi to hold back.

The three sisters chatted every day, and Kang Jiaya knew a bit about Lin Haozhi and Shan Yi. This meal was simply to welcome her back and talk about their plans now that she had returned. Considering the time difference and the long flight, after dinner, Shan Yi drove Kang Jiaya home.

……

The wedding day was approaching, and Shen Tiantian’s belly was getting bigger. Her face, already chubby, now had a double chin. At five months pregnant, her belly was heavy, nearly catching up with Liu Wanjun, who was six months along.

When she noticed, her complaints filled Shan Yi’s ears, with daily declarations about needing to lose weight. Shan Yi began to worry that the baby might be too big and cause Shen Tiantian discomfort.

During a prenatal checkup, Shan Yue mentioned that Shen Tiantian was overnourished and asked her mother not to give her too many supplements.

Even though she did yoga regularly, it didn’t stop the baby from growing. So every morning, Shen Tiantian dragged her wife out for a walk.

Since feeling the first fetal movement, the baby became more active. Each time it moved, Shan Yi would touch Shen Tiantian’s belly and talk, calling it early education.

Shen Tiantian was speechless but couldn’t argue.

When Shan Yi got home from work, Shen Tiantian had already bathed and was curled up in bed reading. The black-rimmed glasses didn’t make her look older; instead, they added a touch of charm.

She took off her coat, unbuttoned the top two buttons of her blouse, and walked over to touch the belly covered by a thin blanket.

“Did she move today?”

As soon as she finished speaking, her palm was kicked strongly. Shan Yi’s mouth twitched, “Little rascal.”

The baby was having fun kicking, but Shen Tiantian suffered. The kick made her belly ache, and she gasped, frowning and swatting Shan Yi’s hand away, “Why did you provoke her?”

Shan Yi looked innocent.

“Did you drink?” Shen Tiantian sniffed, detecting a faint smell of alcohol.

Shan Yi’s body stiffened. She raised her hand to sniff it, realizing she had only had a little to drink, but her wife still noticed.

Feeling a bit sorry, Shen Tiantian pulled her hand back, “Go ahead and touch her.”

Shan Yi, amused, resisted the urge to hug her and touched her belly for a while. “I smell like alcohol. I’m going to take a shower.”

“Come here.” Shen Tiantian pulled her back.

“Hmm?”

Shen Tiantian pulled her closer, blushing as she kissed her. “Thank you for your hard work.”

Shan Yi’s heart melted. Although she wanted to press her down and enjoy the moment, she held back. “I’m going to take a shower.”

Last time, during Shan Yi’s period, Shen Tiantian had teased her so much and afterwards, she ended up not being able to get out of bed for a whole day. Shen Tiantian didn’t dare to be mischievous now and quickly let her go. “Go ahead.”

Shan Yi glanced at her and smiled as she went to the bathroom.

“Do you want me to wash your back?” Shen Tiantian immediately regretted her words.

“No, you read your book.”

Rejected?!

Shen Tiantian was stunned. Shan Yi had already entered the bathroom before she reacted.

Previously, Shan Yi had always insisted on showering together, but now she was rejecting her when Shen Tiantian offered? It didn’t make sense!

The book slipped from her hands, and her mouth remained open in shock.

After a while, she heard the sound of running water from the bathroom and slowly turned her gaze away.

She scratched her head and decided not to think about it anymore.

When Shan Yi came out, drying her hair, she saw Shen Tiantian still reading. She opened her laptop and a file. “Tiantian, come here.”

Shen Tiantian looked up from her book. “What?”

Shan Yi said seriously, “Did you forget something, honey?”

The term “honey” made Shen Tiantian’s hair stand on end. She rubbed her hands together, asking, “What?”

“We need to write the invitations.”

Shen Tiantian suddenly remembered. With the wedding a week away, they hadn’t written the invitations yet!

“I completely forgot about that.”

Shan Yi gave her a doting glance. “Have you decided who to invite?”

“I don’t have many friends, so you decide. But make sure to invite Assistant Yang, Xiao Chun, and Manager Tian.”

“Alright.”
