CH 94

After spending four days in the hospital, Shen Tiantian insisted on going home. Unable to resist her, Shan Yi checked with the doctor to ensure she could be discharged, and since there was an obstetrician at home, they let her leave the hospital.

Although it had only been four days, Shen Tiantian acted as if she hadn’t been home for a long time, restlessly rolling around on the bed.

Shan Yi said: “If you keep rolling around, the baby will get dizzy.”

Shen Tiantian snuggled up with the blanket and smiled, sitting up and asking, “Do you know why I wanted to come home today?”

“To pick up Yaya.”

“I… how did you know?”

The messy kiss lasted for over a minute before Shen Tiantian pulled back, panting and staring at her. Despite being the one who initiated, her face was the first to turn red.

“I’m the one who got ambushed, so why are you blushing?” Shan Yi teased.

Shen Tiantian glanced at her, lifted her chin arrogantly, but her voice was weak, “But you kissed me first.”

Shan Yi couldn’t help but laugh, pulling her back onto the bed, carefully avoiding her belly, and pretended to threaten: “I might just eat you up right now.”

Knowing that her period hadn’t ended, Shen Tiantian fearlessly replied: “Go ahead, I want you to.”

Hearing this, Shan Yi’s expression changed, and her hand on Shen Tiantian’s waist moved down quickly.

“Ah!” Shen Tiantian screamed, laughing as she grabbed Shan Yi’s hand, repeatedly saying, “I surrender, I surrender.”

Shan Yi stopped immediately, sat on Shen Tiantian’s legs, and checked the time, “Alright, time to sleep.” She had been with Shen Tiantian at the hospital these past few days and still needed to go to the company today.

Shan Yi didn’t force her, getting up and changing clothes. Shen Tiantian asked dumbfoundedly, “Where are you going?”

“I need to go to the office.”

“Oh.”

“Want to come with me?”

“No,” Shen Tiantian declined immediately.

Shan Yi raised an eyebrow in surprise. Shen Tiantian had been very clingy these past few days, sending multiple messages even if Shan Yi was just downstairs for ten minutes. But now that they were home, she had completely changed?!

Without saying anything, Shan Yi changed clothes and then said, “I’m heading out.”

“Okay…” Shen Tiantian suddenly stopped talking, got out of bed, and walked over to her with a smile. She adjusted Shan Yi’s collar, her small, fair hands smoothing it out like a virtuous wife. “There, all set.”

The sudden affectionate gesture made Shan Yi feel like her heart was coated in sugar, leaving her speechless from the sweetness.

Shen Tiantian blushed under her gaze and said, “I saw this on TV… does it look right?”

Shan Yi’s lips curved into a slight smile. “Yes, it would look even better with a goodbye kiss.”

Without hesitation, Shen Tiantian stood on her tiptoes to kiss her.

Shan Yi held her waist to make sure she wasn’t uncomfortable.

After the kiss, Shan Yi left the house feeling satisfied, while Shen Tiantian started browsing Taobao1Chinese online shopping platform on her phone, her fingers quickly typing as she ordered a complete set of books on flower arranging.

Since she was pregnant and couldn’t use her phone often due to radiation concerns, she decided to lay a foundation by reading books and planned to watch videos and practice after the baby was born.

The next day, Kang Jiaya arrived at City A Airport around three in the afternoon. Liu Wanjun and Shen Tiantian, both heavily pregnant, arrived at the airport early with their partners.

There were quite a few people waiting to pick up passengers, so to avoid any danger, they moved away from the arrival gate.

Shan Yi massaged her neck, laughing, “Are you tired?”

Lin Haozhi had known Kang Jiaya before marrying Liu Wanjun, as their companies had business dealings. It was only later that he found out she was Liu Wanjun’s best friend.

“Let’s talk on the way,” Shan Yi suggested. “I heard from Tiantian that you all like the food at Four Seasons Hall, so I’ve reserved a room there.”

Kang Jiaya said, “Shan Yi, you’ve arranged everything so thoughtfully.”

Shan Yi smiled silently.

Both Lin Haozhi and Shan Yi drove, with the luggage placed in Shan Yi’s car, while Kang Jiaya rode with Lin Haozhi.

Although Kang Jiaya didn’t ride in their car, Shen Tiantian was still very happy and hummed along to the music in the car.

Shan Yi asked her, “Are you very happy?”

Shen Tiantian nodded vigorously, humming, “Yes, very happy. Now we can see each other often.”

Shen Tiantian pursed her lips. She knew Kang Jiaya’s personality too well, so she and Liu Wanjun never pressured her. “She probably won’t want to do it so soon. Asking Manager Tian and Xiao Gu would be quicker.”

“Forget about them. I hope we can have our own wedding.”

Shen Tiantian chuckled, looking at her. “You’re just saying that.”

Shan Yi didn’t respond, starting the car again.

The cars arrived at Four Seasons Hall one after the other. As soon as Shen Tiantian got out, she ran toward Kang Jiaya, too quick for Shan Yi to hold back.

The three sisters chatted every day, and Kang Jiaya knew a bit about Lin Haozhi and Shan Yi. This meal was simply to welcome her back and talk about their plans now that she had returned. Considering the time difference and the long flight, after dinner, Shan Yi drove Kang Jiaya home.

She took off her coat, unbuttoned the top two buttons of her blouse, and walked over to touch the belly covered by a thin blanket.

“Did she move today?”

“We need to write the invitations.”

Shen Tiantian suddenly remembered. With the wedding a week away, they hadn’t written the invitations yet!

“I completely forgot about that.”

Shan Yi gave her a doting glance. “Have you decided who to invite?”

“I don’t have many friends, so you decide. But make sure to invite Assistant Yang, Xiao Chun, and Manager Tian.”
