“What nonsense are you saying?!”

Jin Siming was shocked. How is it that in the span of one day Li Hong, a stupid sports student, came to the conclusion that Yao Jin is her girlfriend and why is he even saying it so openly? Just what are these people saying behind her back?

It’s terrifying to even think about it….

Bean Sprout, who was almost sprayed by her outburst, turned his head quickly and then looked at the mess on her desk. He quickly shifted his desk forward to avoid the chaos.

The corners of Jin Siming’s mouth twitched in embarrassment and she quickly took out some tissues to clean up the “mess” on her desk.

“Brother Yong, are you coming?”

A few of the taller male students urged loudly. Li Yong grabbed Jin Siming’s sleeve and said anxiously: “No matter what your relationship status is, you are still the highest ranked Alpha in our class. Now that someone in our class is getting bullied by outsiders, you have to at least go for support, right?”

“I….”

Jin Siming raised her head, about to answer when she found that the eyes of the sports students near the back, who had rolled up their sleeves to fight, and the eyes of everyone else in the classroom were focused on her.

The collective pressure and sense of honor was surprisingly strong coming from a bunch of high school students. If she didn’t go this time, then she would be seen as a dishonorable coward.

Jin Siming sighed. Whatever, she’ll go. She did want to see just how Yao Jin was getting bullied anyway. It was quite rare to see Yao Jin’s weak side and if she lended a hand this time, she might be able to make Yao Jin owe her a favor. It would be quite nice if she could use this favor to defeat Yao Jin in the future. As for those other rumors, well, she couldn’t control other people’s thoughts and force them to think one way or another. It didn’t matter anyway, since she and Yao Jin don’t have anything to do with each other in the first place and so those rumors will naturally break down eventually.

So Jin Siming shook off Li Yong’s hand, the one pulling on her sleeve, and took the initiative to approach the team that have self-dubbed themselves, “Save the Damsel In Distress Squad!”

And so, their little group marched towards the library in a mighty and righteous manner.

There were six of them in total. Besides Jin Siming and Li Yong, there were three other boys and one other girl. All of them were Alphas and all of them followed Jin Siming without saying a word.

When Jin Siming wears her poker face and doesn’t speak, her entire person looks extremely cold. Add on the fact that she’s an S-rank Alpha and even if she doesn’t pay attention to it, an intimidating aura radiated from her. She was originally walking in the middle of the pack, but the people in front of her unconsciously submitted to her and gave way until slowly but surely she was leading the pack with Li Yong following right behind her.

All of them were tall and long-legged Alphas, especially their leader, Jin Siming. With a cold face, heavy aura, and a body at 1.8 meters, their entire groups seemed fierce and aggressive. The passing students quickly got out of their way and some in the distance even stopped to stare at them.

As they walked to the library, Jin Siming felt something was wrong. She turned her head and glanced back, only to find that everyone was following her. In this position, it seemed like she was the leader of their little operation.

She paused and stopped in place.

“Why are all of you following behind me?”

The people beside her looked at her and she looked back at them. None of them spoke up.

Li Yong, who was next to her, couldn’t keep a straight face and cleared his throat to say, “It’s just because….you’re walking too fast! Don’t worry about it, we’re almost there!” After speaking, he walked forward first.

“Yong-zi, over here!”

At this moment, they saw as Gao Mei suddenly ran towards them out of nowhere. Standing in front of the Crescent Crater that separated them from her, she waved at them.

Crescent Pit. Just like the name suggests, it’s a pit that was once just another small hole that slowly grew larger and larger after being worn down by years of rain. Now it has become smoother, similar to a small pond in the shape of a Crescent.

However, there has been less rain lately so the circumference of the small “pond” has shrunk by a lot. A lawn surrounded it and there was even a small forest growing next to it.

Jin Siming followed Li Yong and the others around the pond to stand next to Gao Mei. Gao Mei pointed at the little forest behind her, “Jin-Jin is right in there.”

Following the direction of her hand, one could vaguely make out two figures standing in the depths of the forest. Jin Siming could clearly see the blue color of the coat on one of them. It was the same coat Yao Jin was wearing during their last period.

Li Yong rubbed his crew cut hair and asked, “Just two people? Is there no one else?”

“Originally there was the group of people who brought Jin-Jin here initially. However, before you guys showed up, Qin Ziqing took the others with her. They had just left. Now it is only Tao Jing in there with her.”

As Gao Mei talked, she frowned and stomped her feet in frustration, “Really, that Qin Ziqing….whatever. Right now we need to deal with Tao Jing and she alone is someone difficult to deal with. Let’s go ahead and help Jin-Jin.”

In order to avoid attracting the attention of the teachers and the disciplinary committee, Gao Mei only brought Li Yong and Jin Siming into the forest in the end.

Gao Mei walked in front. Although she was a Beta, she was backed by two Alphas, and so she was feeling confident. She called out defensively, “Tao-jie, the dinner break is almost over. We’re here to pick Jin-Jin up.”

Tao Jin turned around. Seeing Gao Mei and the others, she merely adjusted the glasses on the bridge of her nose and said with a smile, “Tsk-tsk, what is junior sister* doing? I just want to talk to Jin-Jin for a little while. I’ll send her back when we’re done. Junior sister also came with two people as backup. It makes it look as if this senior sister has done something bad.” (T/N: junior sister as in someone in a grade below you and has nothing to do with blood-related sisters)

Before Gao Mei could reply, Li Yong couldn’t help speaking up first from behind her. He has always hated people who spoke so glibly and strangely. As a straightforward person, he directly opened his mouth and cursed at her, “Bah! What words are you farting? So many of you dragged Jin-Jin here and you still won’t let her go back even at this late hour. Didn’t you see her reluctant expression just now? And you pretend to be a good person, how disgusting! Jin Siming, let’s go! We can directly take Jin-Jin back with us.”

Li Yong raised his fist, as if he really was going to start fighting.

After hearing his words, Tao Jin raised an eyebrow above her glasses’ frames. Her eyes swept over the three people before fixing on Jin Siming, “Jin Sming? That’s you?”

Jin Siming, who has been acting like an invisible woman beside them, was suddenly being stared at by Tao Jing. She unconsciously straightened her back and stood up straight.

She recalled that this person was the same one with the round glasses that had entered their classroom and took Yao Jin away earlier.

The rounded-glasses wearer observed Jin Siming’s reaction and the dark smile on her lips deepened, “You two seem to be stuck quite tightly to each other’s sides. You even rushed over here in such a hurry just to pick her up.”

Jin Siming frowned, her brows furrowing. She only thought that Tao Jing was a weird person. She had only heard three sentences from her so far. The first sentence threatened Yao Jin into coming out of the classroom. The second sentence was to reverse black and white when responding to Gao Mei. Now this third sentence was directed at her and Jin Siming was so startled that she didn’t understand what she meant.

That Qin Ziqing seemed to be quite a dreary person on the surface, and she is even surrounded by friends like Tao Jing….looking at it this way, even she was beginning to feel a little pity for Yao Jin. Dealing with people like this…when arguments and conflicts break out, it should be quite difficult, isn’t it?

At this moment, Yao Jin, who had been leaning against a tree with her face hidden underneath her hat and covered her coat, finally spoke, “Hah, Jin Siming, you’re just here to see me make a fool of myself, aren’t you?”

Jin Siming, who was just starting to feel pity for Yao Jin, had her goodwill broken in an instant.

How could she have forgotten that this girl is a sharp-tongued little fox! A girl like her deserves to be entangled with such annoying people!

Tao Jing turned around and stared at Yao Jin with a meaningful expression on her face: “Ai, I said so much earlier, yet Jin-Jin didn’t respond to a single one of my words. Yet now that she has come, your precious golden mouth opened. She really is special to you, isn’t she?”

Yao Jin’s thin lips that could barely be seen pressed tightly into a grim straight line.

Hearing Tao Jing’s words, Jin Siming’s frown deepened even more.

If she didn’t understand the first sentence, she could understand it now with this second sentence.

Tao Jing seems to be certain that she and Yao Jin have something between them. And so she’s deliberately riling Yao Jin, or could it be she’s trying to test Yao Jin’s feelings for the sake of Qin Ziqing?

Fire bloomed in Jin Siming’s heart and that was because Tao Jin’s two sentences stepped on the minefield that is her sore point.

Different genders have different ways of expressing their likes. Before she differentiated, she also experienced the pursuit of aggressive suitors of the opposite sex around her. They always presumed her intentions and behavior for her, and did various annoying things to probe her feelings. At first, she would patiently explain everything to them, but this only made things worse and made those people even more difficult to deal with. So she decided to treat them indifferently from then on. She would directly fight back against anyone who tried to do something to her. Although, as a result of her cold behavior, some people began to say she was difficult to get along with behind her back. However, it also resulted in a lot less trouble for her.

So when she saw Yao Jin only lower her head silently when Tao Jing said words that reversed white and black, she got angry.

Hasn’t Yao Jin always spoken so eloquently in front of her? Why does Yao Jin look like as if she was pinched so tightly until her whole body has gone limp*? (T/N: The actual “direct” translation is: “pinch their seven inches” which is a reference to a man’s dong. It’s slang to say that this guy is completely controlled/subdued.)

Jin Siming felt the fire build up inside her. She took a few steps forward, narrowing her eyes as she glared at Tao Jing. She pointed at her watch, “There are only three minutes left until the dinner break ends. If you like this little forest so much, then you can stay here yourself, but Yao Jin cannot skip class.”

After she finished speaking, she moved to walk past the other party and towards Yao Jin when Tao Jing suddenly turned to the side and stepped in front of her. She purposely bumped her shoulder into Jin Siming in a provocative manner.

The two stood close to each other, face to face as they stared at each other. Jin Siming could even smell the strong and pungent pheromones the other party was releasing.

Her eyes narrowed dangerously and unconsciously, her own pheromones started to escape her body. The other party suddenly moved, quickly grabbing and tearing off the suppressant sticker on her neck before taking several steps back.

Jin Siming’s pupils dilated as the gland on the back of her neck were suddenly no longer suppressed. Due to the provocation of the other party’s pheromones just now, her own pheromones lost their restraint and were skyrocketing above normal levels.

“Hey! You students over there! It’s almost time for class, what are you doing over there!”

At this moment, a teacher suddenly came towards them with a flashlight pointed straight at them. Tao Jing retreated a few meters back, leaning against the tree as she covered her own neck and sent Jin Siming a sinister look.

“Hurry, follow me!”

Yao Jin suddenly rushed over and grabbed Jin Siming’s hand. She turned around and quickly ran into the woods behind her.

With the sudden loss of her suppressant sticker, Jin Siming was lost in a daze as she clutched her neck. She unconsciously let Yao Jin drag her like this until they ran out of the woods and into the dorms area.

Just outside the forest were a bunch of clotheslines where students used to dry their clothing. It just so happened that there were many bedsheets on the clotheslines and one could use them to block them from sight. However, it was time for the evening self-study period so there was no one around in the first place.

After running into this area, Yao Jin finally couldn’t bear the pressure anymore as she staggered two more steps forward before stopping. She forced herself to let go of Jin Siming, walking a few steps farther with great difficulty before she fell forward and hugged one of the wooden laundry poles, “Y-You….hurry up and stick…stick your sticker back on!”

Jiun Siming, who was clutching her neck, came back to her senses for a few seconds. However, she realized that Tao Jing had torn off her only suppressant sticker and there were no extras stickers on her body.

“But I don’t have any extra stickers right now. What should I do?”

“I-Idiot.”

Yao Jin trembled as she spoke. She was already quite sensitive to Jin Siming’s pheromones after what happened in the infirmary and her legs had felt weak even when she was running with Jin Siming just now. She was already reaching her limit by running here. Only god knows how tempting Jin Siming’s scent was to her at this moment. Right now, only one thought was flowing through her mind, and that she must pounce on Jin Sming and take another bite!

“I-I have some here, use…”

Yao Jin let go of the pole with one hand and touched her pocket, however without the support of both of her hands, her legs gave out beneath her and she began to slide down the pole.

Seeing her about to fall onto the ground, Jin Siming hurried over to help her, “Here, I’ll help you.”

However, as soon as she moved over, Yao Jin wrapped her arms around her neck and clinged onto her tightly like an octopus.

With Yao Jin suddenly clinging onto her, Jin Siming immediately stiffened on the reflex, “Hey, are y-you okay?”

She knows that her pheromones might’ve affected Yao Jin.

“S-stop talking nonsense…in m-my pocket, I have…”

“Which pocket?”

Jin Siming understood that Yao Jin was telling her to get the sticker herself, however, with the way Yao Jin was holding her she didn’t dare touch her so casually. So she asked this question instead.

However, at this moment, Yao Jin wasn’t listening to her anymore. This scent was just too sweet. She had found its source and so she wanted to lean forward and….take a bite…..

Yao Jin rubbed her face against her neck, to the point she could feel a gentle and warm breath against the exposed glands on the back of her neck. Jin Siming’s entire body felt like it was stabbed with needles and her legs softened until she almost fell onto the ground with Yao Jin.

With gritted teeth, Jin Siming could no longer care about proprietary anymore as she searched all over Yao Jin’s pockets until she finally found a suppressant sticker in one of the pockets of her coast.

She breathed a sigh of relief and then she hardened her heart as she ruthlessly pushed Yao Jin away from her. She turned around and moved to put the sticker back over her glands.

However, as soon as she turned around, Yao Jin pounced forward and hugged her from behind in an extremely clingy way. From behind, it was even easier to find the exposed glands. Fortunately, Jin Siming was quick and before Yao Jin could make a move, she had already put her sticker back on the property.

Furthermore, she had learned from her previous experience in the infirmary and she tightly covered her sticker with both hands this time.

“Phew….”

Jin Siming finally let out a breath of relief, however, before she could relax, she felt her legs tremble and her heart numb.

This was because Yao Jing’s lips were actually stuck to the back of her hand and she even…licked them!

Her heart was beating wildly like a drum as Yao Jin hugged her from behind. Hair brushed against her next. It was itchy, and her heart felt like it was being tickled by a kitten’s paw and her mind was a buzzing mess.

Yao Jin continued like this until she finally stopped rubbing against her body after who knows how long.

“Idiot, why didn’t you bring a spare suppressant sticker with you when going out?”

Her voice had returned to normal, and was called back to her senses by Yao Jin’s words.

“Aren’t I like this because I tried to help you? You should first of all be grateful to me, right?”

Jin Siming withdrew her hands that had been covering her neck. As she moved her hands, they accidentally touched Yao Jin’s face. Her heartbeat, which had finally calmed down, abnormally skipped a beat twice again.

“Hey, you….should let go of me now if you’re feeling better.”

She awkwardly shook her body, but found that Yao Jin was still tightly hooked around her neck, her lithe body still sticking to her back in a boneless way.
