Chapter 8 - You jerk, it was all because of you

David was already in a foul mood, couldn't calm himself and yelled again, "No, I'll not allow him to be your secretary, I can't let him be your side. Sky! do u get that?"

Sky rather looked calm, "Dad! Don't shout, it's not good for your health. Take a seat, have some water." she pointed the seat.

David was agitated, "Call the security right now, throw him out of this building. I'll never allow him to work here."

He threw the glass of water towards Andy and broke the glass.

Sky lost her cool, "Dad, it's enough. He will start working here soon. You can't stop me doing this."

Andy who was standing silently, spoke up, "Sky, it's OK. Don't fight with your dad because of me. I'll.. I'll manage."

By the end of his sentence, David's expression was ugly. "You jerk, it was all because of you she loses her mind and fights with me."

David was about to hit Andy with his supporting stick which was held by Sky.

"Dad, he helped me and took care of me when I was with him. Shouldn't I repay his kindness?"

With a sinister look, David asked, "Sky, should I help you repay the suffering you went through because of him?"

Sky knew what her Dad meant. She knew her dad can be ruthless to him.

She slowly said, "If I don't have the power to appoint a secretary for me, I don't have to be CEO of this company anymore."

Then she walked towards her desk and said, "I'll resign." She knew this way would work on her dad and she never liked to be controlled by David.

"You... you" David slumped back to the couch and stared at Andy.

'Why this chap appeared now to ruin everything?'

'What is so special about him makes my daughter go against me all the time?'

David had many thoughts in his mind. He composed himself and stood up, "Fine, you do as you please. if I see you cry again"

Then he moved in front of Andy, made eye contact with him, "I'll make this jerk's life a living hell."

"Dad!", Sky retorted him. He waved his hand made an exit.

Andy looked at Sky with a depressed face, "You don't really have to do this. I'm sorry you had a fight."

"Don't worry, and sorry about the clothes, I'll ask someone to get you set of clothes."

"No no it's Okay" He shook his head.

Sky called her Assistant through an intercom, "Come in."

Lilly entered the office after a knock, went up to Sky. "Ms.Sky"

"Prepare an appointment letter for him as my secretary and get him a set of fresh clothes. you can...."

Andy interjected, "I'll also be your driver." he waved his both hands together and naively continued, "No need to pay me for that."
