David continued, "I got to know on the third day that Loran was here. By the time I reached here, Alex had rejected him. I brought him to meet Alex. He gave a second chance to Loran. Loran explained everything then Alex agreed. Later I told him that the sister Loran talked about is you! So Alex was even more excited to meet you."

"So that's why the label on this dress is 'Sky'."

Sky noticed the label when she tried the dress for the first time. She thought it as a tag. When she tried the second dress, it had AG label. But she didn't think too much about it.

Then she took her mobile from the bag and dialed Loran's number. Loran didn't pick the call. She tried again, he didn't pick.

When she was about to retry again, David stopped, "Lass, He must be busy. He will call you back when he sees it."

Sky nodded and sent him a message.

"You dared to miss my call! Tomorrow I'm going to beat the sh*t out of you. (angry emojis)"

David saw her message and his lips twitched. ' she is clearly happy, She wants to beat him? This generation .' David shook his head and chuckled.

Simmy, AG, Sky, and David had their dinner. But Sky's complete focus was on the phone waiting for a call. Others didn't mind her as they knew why she was doing that.

Before leaving the hotel, Simmy gave her a basket of Skincare products as a birthday gift and lectured her to use it. Sky just smiled and thanked her.

AG wished her and said, "Little Harley, soon you will receive the gift which I have prepared for you."

"Uncle Alex, You already designed a pink dress for me. So no need of anything else." Sky politely rejected him.

"Little Harley, Your dad asked me to design that dress. That's not my gift. wait for my gift." Alex gave a mischievous smile and bid goodbye.

Sky settled back on the chair. "Dad, am I dreaming? Its been a long time that I did so many things in a day other than office work." Sky laughed.

"I fought with you on the stupid thing. Then almost broke the wrist of Uncle Jeff's son. Met the famous AG, wore the dress he designed and even had dinner with him. By the way how many more famous people you know?"

David's face turned dark, "Have you ever considered me as one among them?"

His voice carried a hint of disappointment for not being recognized by his daughter.

Sky didn't notice the disappointment, she stood up and pinched both the cheeks of David, "Of course, You are the best among them."

She released her hand, took her bag and said, "Let's go home."

David's eyes sparkled and smiled like a little kid who got praised by her mother. He snapped out of his stupor when he heard Sky calling him.

Both reached the Harley mansion at eleven. Seeing all the lights off, Sky got confused.

"Dad, why lights are off?" Sky stood near the car and questioned.

David furrowed his brows, "It's cold outside. Get inside first."

Sky stepped inside and heard a blasting sound, She went to defensive mode, "Dad, Stay back."
