She stopped David from entering inside, Many thoughts ran in her head.

'Lights were off'

'No guards and servants outside'

'What the hell is going on?'

Lights turned on. Sky closed her eyes due to sudden bright lights. A few voices sounded in unison, "Surprise!"

A maid took the purse and jacket from her and she noticed Loran first who was standing in front of her.

She took long strides towards him and punched him on his stomach. "This is for waiting on the road for three days." Then she hugged him. "Thank you for keeping the sketch."

She took a step backward, "How do I look?" She raised her brow and looked at him without bothering to check surroundings.

Loran pinched her cheeks, "My sister is always pretty." A hand hit Loran's hands. Sky looked up and saw the person.

"Brother Jai, You are here too." Then she hugged Jai and rested her head on his chest. That time she noticed Harley's higher management people looking at her in disbelief.

She closed her eyes and scrunched her forehead and asked in a low voice. "Brother Jai, Did I ruin my image?"

"Silly" Jai chuckled. She met the Barton parents and returned to David.

"Dad, Why didn't you tell me you have arranged all these? See how I embarrassed myself." She pouted looking at him.

"You haven't embarrassed yourself. Let me introduce to my friends." David held his daughter's hand and introduced her to his friends, their wife and even a few of their sons.

Sky greeted them and smiled if they praised and answered if they asked anything. Finally, they reached near Jeff's family. "Sky!" James and his wife smiled at her.

"Child, You look beautiful in the dress. You should wear dresses more. Dump your suits." Mrs.Jeff adored Sky.

"Your Aunt is right. Why do you make yourself look older with those boring suits?" James raised his brow asking her.

"Thank you! Aunt, Uncle Jeff, You know me well." Sky laughed and looked aside and noticed Ethan standing silently.

She excused herself and went near him, "How is your wrist now?"

Ethan didn't notice her and startled by a sudden voice near him. "Hey! Relax" Sky's voice was a lot more relaxed and soft than her cold tone.

"Hi, My wrist?" Ethan looked at his hand which had pain relief bandage. Sky saw his hand.

"Is it still painful?" Sky asked and looked at his face. he had a faint smile.

"You were right, It was just a popping sound. My wrist is fine except for little pain."

"Good then. Make yourself home. I will meet other guests, Excuse me." Sky was about to leave, Ethan stopped her.

"Sk... Ms.Harley." Sky turned towards him and waited for him to speak.

"I'm sorry about my behavior." Ethan kept his head low.

"It's okay. I was the one who pissed you off. So it's natural to react."

Ethan shook his head, "You exactly know why I reacted. And I told all that, but still, you are so cool with that."

Sky giggled, "Did I really hit the bullseye? Nobody rejected you?"

Ethan shook his head lightly and looked at her smiling face. In no way, she looked a countryside or village girl. She was splendid.
