Chapter 123 - I will not break your bones

"Hmmm you are handsome so I can understand why those girls never rejected you. But sorry I have started your rejection count." Sky controlled her laughter and made a pitiful face.

Ethan laughed after seeing her reaction, "You can laugh at me. I will not mind."

Sky smiled and extended her hand to shake, "Anyway, I'm pleased to meet a mature man now."

Ethan extended his hand and retracted faster and bowed her three times. "It's my pleasure that I met you."

Sky couldn't control anymore and broke into laughter. "Don't worry, I will not break your bones."

Sky patted on his arms moved to meet other guests. She met Harley's higher management who always met her in the meetings. They had Sky's image as a fallen angel who would kill if they don't do the work. Now they saw the opposite side of their president.

As soon as she greeted them, All-praised and complimented her to kiss her ass go into the good books of her.

She greeted Andy and Lilly, Lilly got excited, "Ms.Sky, You look so great in dresses. You should use them more. If you want to go shopping I can come with you. I know a lot of places other than the mall. There are small designers whose work is too good..." Lilly continued to blabber where she will take Sky for shopping and etcetera.

Sky patiently heard everything with a smile on her face and occasionally nodding to give the response. Andy just listened and didn't comment on anything. Sky grabbed a glass of mocktail from a server who was passing by and handed it to Lilly.

Lilly snapped back from her blabbering and stared Sky. She was trying to say something but her voice seemed to be betrayed her.

"Drink it, your throat must be dry. You can tell me everything later. I'm not running away." Sky smiled and met Jessica who was standing alone.

"Jessica! Long time."

"Sister Sky!" Jessica hugged Sky and her hands were trembling. Sky sensed it. She released herself from her embrace and held her hands.

"Jessica, What's wrong? Are you feeling cold?" Sky asked concernedly.

"No no, I'm not feeling cold. It's... It's just that I didn't know you are all such big people. I forced Loran to take me here. Did I do wrong? Should I leave?" Jessica was very nervous when she asked Sky.
