Chapter 125 - Sorry, My mistake

"I was a kid back then." Sky felt like crying.

Then Sky cut the cake and fed to her brothers, David and Barton parents. Then they started the music, many stepped on the dance floor to enjoy.

Sky then noticed Jessica descending the stairs. She pulled Loran off the dance floor, "Your girlfriend!" Sky pointed stairs.

Loran quickly ran towards the stairs and held her hand to help her descend. Sky looked at them, "Aww they look so cute together."

"Indeed. You seem to be close to the Barton brothers." Ethan's voice sounded behind her. He was holding two glasses of orange juice and he passed one to Sky.

Sky smiled at him and took the glass, "Very much."

Jessica reached Sky, "Sister Sky, How do I look? Can I keep the shoes and this bag? I love them."

"You look great. Of course, you can keep them. If you like anything else, let me know." Sky voice faded when Jessica held her hands.

"Sister Sky, You are so good to me. I wish I was your real sister." After saying Jessica left with Loran and got on the dance floor.

Sky tried hard to smile and lowered her head. Ethan noticed her change in mood.

"Ms.Harley, What happened?" Ethan was confused.

Other two men also noticed her change in expression. Sky shook her head to Ethan and said "Nothing"

She took a step forward without raising her head and bumped into somebody. She looked up and saw it was Jai.

"Sky, What happened?" Jai asked Sky and shot a cold glance at Ethan.

"No No, I didn't do anything." Ethan frantically answered to Jai.

Sky heard and her lips twitched, ' My brother ', "Brother Jai, He didn't do anything."

"So somebody did something, What happened?" Jai clearly remembered there was only Loran, Jessica and Ethan were around her. If not Ethan, what happened?

"Brother Jai, It's nothing. Can I have a drink today?" Sky calmed down and changed the topic.

Jai furrowed his brows. "No alcohol. Drink your orange juice." He knew she diverted the topic but he didn't ask further. He helped her sit aside and went to Loran.

Sky went into her deep thought to find the solution to the problem. Jai pulled Loran off the floor and questioned, "What did you guys talk to Sky when you came down with your girlfriend?"

"Nothing much, Jess thanked Sky for dress, shoes, and bag. that's it. What happened?" Loran said nonchalantly.

"Nothing, Go back." Jai left him and went towards Bar and sat on the barstool.

"Whiskey on the rocks." Jai ordered and started thinking.

'I clearly saw tears in her eyes.'

'She is not so petty to think about shoes and a bag.'

'Or am I overthinking?'

'It must be because of the lights. Yes, I'm overthinking or Should I ask her again?'

Jai's drink served, he was about to drink, A hand snatched it away from him. He clutched his fist and gritted his teeth, He wanted to punch the person very badly "You..."

"What? Did you forget you are a sportsman?"

Jai instantly calmed down, "Sorry Sorry. My mistake."
