Chapter 134 - Sky is her replica

All directors wanted to weep badly because their new year bonus was three months of their salary. Directors wanted to apologize but they were intimidated by Sky's aura. They were even frightened to take a deep breath.

Few looked towards Vice-president and gave him a pleading look. Mr.Sen gave into them and asked Sky, "Sky, Is that required? We can ignore this time with a warning."

"Mr.Sen, This is my order." Then she turned towards directors. "Does anybody have a problem with that? If you have, you are free to resign now."

Having authority over the company was vital. Sky knew well that if she forgives them now, they will repeat again and again they would find a reason to escape hence she decided to be unyielding.

The usual one or one and a half-hour meeting took more than three hours to complete. Later on, nobody dared to slack off from their work.

New year approached faster, Workload also increased on everybody and Sky's overtime working increased gradually. Sam convinced her that he would drive her until she stops her overtime work.

On the way to her office, she would be working on her laptop, then work in the office, attending meetings, having lunch and dinner in the office and on the way back home, she would be taking a nap with some exchanging of sarcastic remarks with Sam. This became her routine for a month.

On new years eve, Sky and David reached to the Barton mansion to celebrate. Everybody spent two days in the home and enjoyed.

Parents gave red pockets and gifts to younger ones. David gave three shop outlets to Loran and Jai got a sports club under his name. They wanted to reject but they couldn't do it because of Sky.

"Dad! Where is mine?" Sky looked at David and stretched her hand to receive her gift.

David gave her an old photo. Sky curiously took it and saw the picture.

It was a woman's picture. She was fair, tall and beyond beautiful. She was smiling and her eyes formed like a two crescent moon. She was in a white wedding gown, holding a wedding bouquet, her wedding veil was swaying towards one side. She had long black hair which was slightly curled and the background was a vast sea and blue sky.

She looked like a copy of Sky with a minor difference. Or More appropriate to say was Sky was a copy of her.

Sky was seeing the picture and didn't react for a long time. Curious Loran went behind her and saw the picture. He quickly reacted, "Wow, Sky is her replica."

Sky snapped out of her daze, Jai took a step front and saw the picture. "Sky's mother."

This was the first time Sky saw her biological mother picture. There was no picture of her mother in Harley mansion and She did not have access to David's study room in Harley mansion.

Whenever she asked David for the picture, Latter always said he didn't have any picture. Sky's mother's name was Amie. The name on Amie's tomb was Amie Harley.

So she tried to inquire about her mother by the name 'Amie Harley' but she didn't get any information.
