Chapter 167 - I'm not jealous

Sky looked at Sam and pursed her lips before saying, "First you wanted to chop my hands now you want to kill me. You must have killed me many times in your head."

Sky turned towards Maxwell, "Are these multiple screens assembled or a single big screen?"

"Former one."

"How many ..." Sam cut in. "Aren't you scared to be with strangers in the underground? You are sure very daring."

"Strangers? I know you guys, Maxwell, Jimmy, Younger one Clark, and you! a psycho. who else do I don't know? And about 'daring', you guys will not let anything happen to me so why will I be scared." Sky asked as she looked at him.

"You win!" Sam said as he went to grab the key fob. Sky bid them goodbye.

Before leaving, Clark whispered to Sky, "Sister Sky, come here whenever you are free, otherwise we will be bored to death because of that wooden block."

"Deal" Sky laughed knowing how much they were scared of Sam.

When Sam and Sky left the Harley, Sky noticed Andy walking towards the bus stop. Sky asked Sam to park near him as she rolled down the window.

Andy identified the car and halted, "Ms.Sky"

"What were you doing till now? It's already seven." Sky asked as she took her mobile to book a cab for him.

"My probation period ends tomorrow. So I was finishing my pending work." Andy said the matter of fact.

"Oh, Meet me tomorrow in the office. Why didn't you move to nearby places yet?" Sky asked as she checked her mobile.

"Once I pay off the loan and become stable, then I will think about it." Andy replied hesitantly.

"Oh, We didn't finish hearing your story. Sorry I was busy. We will go out tomorrow on successful completion of your probation period, there you can continue."

Before he could respond, Sky spoke, "There is your cab. Goodnight." As she finished, Sam slammed on the accelerator.

"Oh ho! What happened?" Sky asked as she looked at Sam.

"Why do you have to book a cab for him every time he is late? Can't he book himself?" Sam pursed his lips after saying.

"Is today is a Jealous day? Morning Brother Jai, now you. I will book for you next time. Happy?" Sky said as she was trying to read his facial expression.

"I'm not jealous. and why do I need a cab?" Sam retorted but his tone cleared said he didn't like Sky booking cab for him.

"Oh please. I can make out from your tone. Anyway, I booked a cab for him because he will take the bus to save money, Even if I see anybody I know, I will book for them, he is no special, Happy with this?"

Then she paused and gave an example, "You must know that I used to drop Assistant Lilly to her home whenever she worked late with me. Don't you?"

Sam hummed, "You were a mechanical robot back then."

He remembered how she used to work when she joined Harley.

She was coming early, worked alongside her father, got guidance from him and his friends, she was reading many books, papers to know how everything works.

She was sitting with every department director to know about the department completely. checking each and every file in detail not to miss anything.

"You have worked hard." Sam subconsciously said thinking about her early days.
