Chapter 168 - Why will I have any relationship with him?

Sky lips curled up but she didn't reply. Her heart still ached whenever she remembers how hard she tried many times to control from breaking down.

New place, new people, alien work, pressure, stress, upon that missing Barton's place, brothers, barton parents. It was not easy for her to be here.

Sky sighed deeply after thinking about it. Now she just wants to be strong for the people who worry about her.

"Ms.Sky, Was it worth for you to leave Barton's and come here just to save your secretary from your father?" Sam broke the silence after a long time.

Sky smiled, "It's true that I agreed to take this position because of Andy but I chose to work hard. Looking at how I struggled, Dad told me to go back to Barton, Even Brother Jai agreed with him but I knew they will be disappointed if I left."

"Even though I hated my Dad for creating chaos in my life, I also knew he has nobody else other than me. So I will never leave in the middle. So the best part of the story is 'A father got his daughter back'." Sky ended with a bright smile on her face.

May be her smile infected Sam, his lips curled up. "Then what about the daughter?"

"Oh! Daughter! daughter got to know that she can push her limits and work hard for the people she loves."

Sam hummed. Sky looked at him, "When are you planning to tell me why you joined Peter and others?"

"I will tell you soon." Sam brushed off again.

"Fine, One more question, what is your relation with Daniel Cox?" Sky asked with a serious expression.

Daniel Cox was a President of the GenX company which was very famous in the development of mobile and system applications. Sky saw his article in the business magazine.

Initially, she just thought they have the same surname. But when she saw his portrait picture, he looked quite similar to Sam. She never got a chance to ask earlier hence she asked now.

"Why will I have any relationship with him?" Sam replied with another question.

Sky's lips twitched and glared at him angrily. "You are so annoying. If you don't want to answer, stop the car, I don't want to see your face anymore."

It wasn't the first time he answered like that. Always he did the same. She was the curious type of girl who will have hundreds of questions to ask if anybody spends a lot of time with her.

Sam slammed on the brakes and stopped the car. Sky was about to get down when Sam asked, "Ms.Sky, Why did you investigate about me?"

Sky turned back to him, "You think I have nothing better to do in the office or in my life?"

Since they stopped abruptly, the car which was following them stopped and went to them. They heard a knock on the door, Sam rolled his window down and spat, "What?"

Jimmy was used to his temper hence he just asked, "Why did you stop here? Any problem?"

"Oh yeah, His brain is malfunctioning." Sky replied to Jimmy instantly.

Jimmy almost burst into laughter but covered his mouth on right time and ran back to his car. Sam gnashed his teeth and stared at her.
